!Izuku POV!
It’s early in the morning when I wake up to the sound of my front door opening, I know it’s Kacchan. He’s been slipping out of the bed and out of the house at odd hours when he thinks I’m sleeping, then comes back right before my alarm goes off.
I feel him slide into bed right beside me and he starts to hold me close. He doesn’t even realize I’m awake, through all the things I’ve been through with him, he won’t admit he’s cheating on me and I have to act dumb and clueless! The divorce laws aren’t nice on omegas so if I were to file for divorce the court will take his side and- “ Izuku are you awake?”
His rough voice breaks me out of thought, if he heard what I was mumbling about… “uh- yea I am, good morning Kacchan!” My voice cracks, it’s painful to hear my own morning voice. I feel him shift in the bed, he sits up and stretches like he just woke up.
“What do you want to eat? I’ll make you something but, I’m not hungry for some reason so I won’t eat with you” Kacchan says. I wonder why your not hungry, maybe you eat whatever your mistress gives you. You know what? Screw our relationship and screw the court! I’m going to confront him! “Kacchan, we need to-“ BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! Damn it, my alarm… I quickly grab my phone and turn the alarm off, by now I’ve lost all my confidence, “can you make me some miso soup?” I make eye contact with him and he nods before heading to the kitchen. No more good morning kisses or hugs.
I’ve recently been asking for something my stomach can handle easily, I know somethings wrong with me and I just can’t figure out what so I’m going to the doctors today. Obviously Kacchan doesn’t know that because he’s been too busy between his pro-hero work and his mistress…
I slowly get out of bed and walk into the master bathroom, Kacchan and I live in a small apartment, the only reason why I needed this house was for the master bathroom. The master bathroom is very unusual here in Japan, it’s a European style and the tub is to die for! Anyway, I stare at the bathroom mirror and I look like crap. I have eye bags, my hair is way oily and I probably smell bad… after breakfast I’ll take a shower.
I head out to the kitchen where Kacchan is pouring me a bowl. I sit down at the dining table and he sets down the bowl of hot and fresh miso soup. “I’m going to head out early, shitty hair wants to train.” Kacchan quickly gathers his things to leave “ w-wait Kacchan-“ the front door shuts and he’s gone ”- today’s your day off..?” Ugh screw him. I don’t feel like eating his food anymore. I get up and head back into the bedroom leaving the miso soup on the dining table.
I decided to take a soak in the tub with all the jets on, and it’s gonna be nice! I strip down and turn on the water. I have a collection of essential oils that I use to make the water smell good and since Kacchan has been stressing me out I’m going to use a lavender scent! I quickly hop in after the tub is all set and I slide down until up to my shoulders are submerged. This is the life.
I take my time here in paradise, then I shower and actually clean my hair before I blow dry it and get ready to leave for the doctors appointment. I wear simple clothes, nothing too fancy. I make sure I have my collar on and scent patches. I grab my keys and I’m off! I have a quick walk to my family doctor and I am now regretting not getting food so I’ll eat after the appointment…
Once I get there I check in and wait in the waiting room. I go on my phone, no new texts from Kacchan, and I play some games. Before I know it I hear “Bakugou Izuku? The doctors ready to see you!” I look up and head into the small room.
