Chapter Text

To say Shoto is exhausted is an understatement. He is half-sleeping with thirty-something villains tied or frozen next to him, and almost lost in remaining consciousness when waiting for back-ups.

He was just off from a straight 48-hour patrol, covering shifts of Tokoyami (injured in a rescue mission), Shoji (severely injured in a fight with villain), and Ashido and Kirishima (summoned by urgent request from an adjacent city). When he was heading back to the hero quarter, he ran into this group of villains. What could he do?

These sneaky villains separated and fled through the alleys skilfully, hiding in spots Shoto did not expect. Giving petty counterattacks then ran away again. And it is super hard for Shoto to fight so many people in narrow places - he needs to be extremely focused, and calculate his attacks and possible consequences or damage caused, within seconds, continuously.

Shoto does not even have the energy to feel irritated for being played like a cat. He just wants someone - anyone - to come and pick up these losers so he can finally drag himself back to the quarter and sleep til the end of the world.

“Todoroki!!” The shout bangs Shoto out of unconsciousness, and Shoto cannot help but sigh. He is always annoyed (amazed) by how Yoarashi could remain this energetic all the time.

He gives a little push to the wall he leaned on, trying to straighten up. White fog blinds his eyesight instantly, and the next second he crushes on another wall - no, it’s Yoarashi.

“Hey hey hey! You alright, Todoroki? Are you hurt? It’s okay, I’ve got you.” A brush on his temple. Strong arms around his waist supporting him. Echo of words from the wind wielder’s chest. Smells of mint and dust and...blood? Shoto tries again to stand straight but fails, and could only tilt his head up from Yoarashi’s embrace to look at him. “You’re injured?”

“Oh, just some scratches and a minor cut. No big deal.” Yoarashi attempts to laugh off his wounds, and adds as Shoto stares at him expressionlessly, “Really, the cut stops bleeding already. Some sort of neighborhood disputes. A lady held a knife for self-protection. She didn’t mean to hurt anyone.”

“Hey, you’re the one who seems to pass out at any moment!” Yoarashi counters as his hands fumbles over Shoto’s body to check, and Shoto twists uncomfortably. “Damn it, stop that Yoarashi. What the fuck are you doing?”

“You sound like Bakugo!” Yoarashi laughs again, and Shoto palms his mouth without thinking. He looks into the wind-wielder’s innocent puppy eyes and says, “I’m fine. I just need these people handed over to the police. Can we get the fucking job done so I can get some rest?”

Yoarashi smiles in his palm and nods, and Shoto is so pleased that the man finally stays quiet. While Yoarashi picks out his phone and contacts the police, Shoto makes his effort to stand on his own feet, but Yoarashi doesn’t let go of him. So he relaxes in his friend’s comforting heartbeats, and thinks to himself of how infectious Bakugo’s swearing habit is. Midoriya once mentioned that he swears because ‘Kacchan swears a lot during fights’ and he just learnt from his symbol of victory. Well, ‘Kacchan’ swears a lot no matter during fights or not. Shoto has no idea since when he has formed the habit too, or whether everyone in class 2A has become swearer in battles, thanks to Bakugo.

He dozes off, until some suspicious noises alarm him. His eyes snap open, catching one of the villains breaking loose and hobbling to run. He immediately creates an ice wall to block the villain but hours of patrol and fighting wear him out and the ice wall is so fragile that the villain just breaks through it easily. All he can think of the next moment is shaking off Yoarashi and reaching out to that villain. Yelling in fear, the villain struggles and slaps on Shoto’s wrist. A sudden gust of wind then cracks the escapee to the other end of the alley with a thud.

“Todoroki!” Yoarashi’s clasp seems strangely distant. Shoto can feel his right wrist burning. His eyelids, his limbs, his whole body unusually heavy. He drifts off in Yoarashi’s worried call and painful groan of the villain.

-

“......I hope that in the future, you will rely on others, rather than throwing yourself into danger recklessly. What makes you think you can still fight when you can't even use your quirk?” Aizawa grumps, “You had joined the war with All For One and Shigaraki and survived, but then you end up like this now. This is fucking absurd, Todoroki.”

Half-lying on the bed, Shoto blinks at Aizawa absentmindedly . So Aizawa-sensei got infected by Bakugo’s swearing habit too? Ugh, wait...“Sensei, why are you here?”

Aizawa’s facial expression softens a little. “You're back to Musutafu, kid. What's the last thing you remember?”

...He tried to catch the escaping villain with, well, his bare hand. Aizawa seems to hear his thoughts, and huffs, “You're lucky that the villain’s quirk isn't assaultive, or you may already lose your limbs or even die. Todoroki......Do your best to keep staying alive and in one piece, okay?"

Shoto nods unmindfully, and asks, "And the villain, sensei?"

"As I said, he's now under investigation." Aizawa answers, pinching the bridge of his nose. "We will soon know how his quirk works."

"What quirk....?" Shoto finds it difficult to catch up. Aizawa sizes him up deadpan, "The quirk that hit you. You're not listening, are you?" Shoto's sleepy look gives him a No.

Aizawa sighs, "I should have made sure you're awake and clear-minded before I talked...Listen, you were hit by the villain's quirk known as 'true love's kiss'." How his sensei said the quirk's name in monotone with a blank face is extremely humorous, and Shoto fails to hide his smile even with his best effort. Aizawa glimpses at him and continues, "Not much information about the quirk in the registration papers. We know that the victims would sleep a lot. Fourteen to sixteen hours per day at the beginning, and gradually more sleeping time needed. The urge to sleep cannot be resisted or controlled. Victims sleep like dead and there's no way to wake them up during their sleep."

"Oh." Shoto exclaims dryly.

"Oh." Aizawa intimates him and gives him a glare before continuing. "The quirk effect could only be ended by kisses from someone related to the victims, as per the registration papers. The Commission and police are still working on digging more details like what kind of relationship and what kind of kiss and so. And we could only wait."

Shoto is still processing his teacher's words. Sleep like dead? 16 hours per day? He looks down and finally realizes his bundled right wrist. He lifts it up, and Aizawa speaks before he could ask, “The quirk gave you a mark there with serious burns. Doctor will come and check on you tomorrow morning, and you can unbundle that and discharge if he approves."

A soft knock from the outside, and without being answered, the door slides open. "Aizawa-sensei!" Kaminari bounces in and cheers while Aizawa shoots him a glance. Few of Shoto’s classmates walk in as well.

“Wow Sleeping Beauty, good morning, umm, afternoon!” Kaminari beams when he sees Shoto awake. “We come just in time! How’d you feel?”

“Tired.” Shoto gives his friends a faint smile as they surround him. “I thought you’re all on missions.”

“The Commission made some arrangements and reallocated pro-heroes over the regions, ribbit. And students are dismissed and return to school until further request." Asui fills him in while eyeing him with concern. "Most of us have returned by Monday. Iida-chan, Shinsou-chan and I came back yesterday. Koda-chan and Kyoka-chan just arrived this morning. I think only...Momo-chan and Bakugo-chan haven't come back?" She turns to Koda who nods and confirms her.

"Monday...?" Shoto recalls that he passed out on Thursday. He counts internally, then looks at his friends wide-eyed, "I had slept for six days...?!"

"Nope." Sero smirks, "Today's Sunday, Elsa."

"Hey, it's Princess Aurora! Speaking of which, can we have Disney's movie marathon when Yao-Momo and Blasty and Todoroki are all back? I wanna watch The Lion King!”

“Can we not?” Sato asks, placing the apple bunnies in front of Shoto.

“Pleassseeee!! It’s The Lion King!”

“We've watched it eighteen times during the class movie marathons, Denki. I can’t really do that again when I have already remembered every single line of it.”

“But it’s good! And Koda likes it too!”

“Bakugo-chan said he would end us all if we play The Lion King again in the next five marathons. So I’m voting against it, ribbit. I’m sorry, Koda-chan.”

“...Zootopia......?”

“Zootopia it is!”

“Okay, at least we’ve watched this for seven times only......Koda, I don’t mean it's a bad idea!”

“I’ll make snacks for our marathon. Blueberry muffins, Koda?”

“...yup...!”

“Sato-chan, I miss your cream puffs, ribbit!”

“Okay, Croquembouche for our girls!”

“Popcorns! Potato chips!”

“Sure! How about you, Todoroki? Still red bean mochi...?”

"......Princess...?"

“............Todoroki?”

Shoto falls asleep again.

-

Shoto wakes up in the early morning the next day. And Aizawa and his doctor come over within minutes after he awoke.

“Todoroki-kun, you recover well. Currently we can’t do much regarding your quirk issue without further information provided, so you are discharged and may return home.” The doctor announces after inspection while the nurse removes the bundle on Shoto’s right wrist. “Try to eat more when you’re awake, you’ll need the energy to maintain your body function. Don’t overuse your quirk. I’ll list down some dos and don’ts for your reference, and prescribe supplements for your well-being.”

Shoto has not paid much attention to the doctor. He just stares at the inner side of his right wrist, with a heart-shaped mark there. It consists of countless blood-red cuts, and that part of skin is uncomfortably hot.

“Aizawa-kun, there are some forms needed to be filled for Todoroki-kun’s discharge. Please come with me.”

Aizawa nods to the doctor and turns to Shoto, “Mic will come and pick us up. Could you pack your belongings when I go get the paperwork done?”

Honestly, Shoto feels soreness all over his body and his head aches at every little move he makes. But he nods anyway.

Aizawa eyes him for a few seconds and is about to say something, but an over-energetic voice chips in. “Ah, GOOD MORNING TODOROKI!!”

Both Aizawa and Shoto jump slightly at the loud greeting, and jerk their head towards the door side. Yoarashi stands by the door with a bright smile.

Damn. “Damn.” Shoto hears his homeroom teacher murmuring a curse, and cannot suppress his snickers. Aizawa side-eyes him and asks, “Why are you here, Yoarashi?”

“I heard that Todoroki could leave the hospital today, and Present Mic would come to get him. So I asked him if I could come as well. He’s parking the car, by the way.” Yoarashi sashays to Shoto’s bedside while answering.

“Hey, Todoroki.” The wind-wielder’s voice is unexpectedly soft.

“Hey.” Shoto tilts his head up to meet Yoarashi’s eyes, “Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be back to Shiketsu?”

“Welllll....that’s not important, I’ll be staying in U.A. for a while.” Yoarashi rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, and quickly changes the subject, “So you can go now?”

“After I finish the paperwork, and he packs his things.” Aizawa interposes, “Can you help him out?”

“Yes sir!” Yoarashi gives Aizawa a casual salute as he walks out the room with the doctor and the nurse. The towering boy then heaves a sigh of relief exaggeratedly, “Eraserhead is sometimes scary.”

“Tell me about that......” Shoto shifts slowly on bed to sit on the edge and land himself, but he tumbles back immediately, vision blurred. He steadies himself, and tries again.

“Sit down. Don’t move suddenly after lying in bed for days.” Yoarashi pushes Shoto down with a gentle grab on his shoulders. He turns away after passing Shoto a nutritional jelly packet which Aizawa must have left here. “Drink this. I’ll pack your things.”

Shoto sips the jelly bit by bit. While Yoarashi folds the clothes and gathers the stuff and puts them into the bag, without a word.

Shoto always prefers quietness over noisiness. But he feels awkward in this silent atmosphere. Yoarashi never stops asking and talking when they are together, and he is always the one who starts their conversations. But the wind-wielder is now uncharacteristically muted.

Shoto struggles in his mind about whether to start talking or not, and searches for topics. Before he manages to start, Yoarashi speaks up.

“......You know, Todoroki, you could have warned me at that time.” Yoarashi says calmly without looking at Shoto, “I was right there. I’m your back-up. I can help you, and you don’t have to fight alone.”

Shoto wishes he could say something, but he cannot find the right words.

“I was right there. Watching how you got hurt and passed out. And I couldn’t do a thing.”

“Yoarashi, you saved me and caught that villain.” Shoto places his right hand on Yoarashi’s shoulder to give him a squeeze. Yoarashi then takes his hand and strokes over the mark. The coolness of Yoarashi’s fingers relieves the hotness of the mark slightly.

“I should have noticed the villain escaping. I should have caught him before he hurt you. Todoroki, I’m - “

“I’m sorry.” Shoto cuts in. “I shouldn’t try to do everything by myself, when there are others who can help. Aizawa-sensei already lectured me on this so......And thank you, Yoarashi, for saving me.”

Yoarashi stares at Shoto for a few seconds, and finally resumes his usual activeness and grins, “Always! Do promise you won’t do this again, okay? You are strong and relying on others won’t make you weak.”

“Ya...” Shoto nods, letting out a huge yawn. “So...your wounds?”

“Healed completely. Are you hungry?”

“A little...”

“I would believe in you if your stomach wasn’t growling that loud!”

“Shut up......I’m starving.”

“I overheard that Bakugo would be making breakfast today. I’m sure they would save you some. Or do you want me to buy you some food from the cafeteria?”

“Bakugo’s back...? I hope he’s making soba.”

“I don’t think you should eat cold food now. How about kake udon?”

“I want my cold soba......”

“...Todoroki......”

“......”

“....I’ll text Bakugo that you want cold soba when you’re back.”

Notes:

Thank you for reading this fic and I hope you enjoy!
I was originally thinking to write a short fic of Inasa/Shoto and Shoto getting kisses from his loving class 1A only, but the idea grew and then I thought to myself "why not involve EVERYONE?".
So there will be √ Aizawa √ Class 1A √ All Might.
And I'll try to include teachers, class 1B, Todoroki Family, Dabi, some pro-heroes XD
Please feel free to comment I would love to have feedbacksssss ♥️

English is not my native language, so please forgive me if there's grammar mistakes or sentences which seem odd. Do let me know so I can correct them.
And I'm new to AO3 so still not sure what tags I shall put......let me know if you think there's essential tags that I need to add to warn people.

Chapter Text

“Here, your phone.” Aizawa hands Shoto his phone from the passenger seat when they are driving back to U.A.

Shoto murmurs “thank you”, takes his phone and turns it on. Surprisingly, there are not many missed calls or texts. Except for the 659 unread messages from their class’s chat group. He scrolls the notifications away.

“We’ve called your father and sister after your accident last Thursday, and updated them on daily basis......Your father came to visit everyday.” His homeroom teacher says through his gritted teeth, and adds, “your sister came twice too. You better give them a call or a text since you’re discharged.”

It’s 9:17 in the morning and Fuyumi-nee is probably having her class. Shoto sends her a brief message telling that he’s awake and feels good and is returning to the dorm now, checking on mom and Natsuo-nii and promising her he would call later. And his old man? There’s no way Shoto would willingly call him, so he just texts Endeavor ‘going back to dorm’.

Five seconds later, his phone rings like a call from hell, and he has no choice but to answer.

“SHOTOOOOOOOO!!!” He hangs up immediately, and shoots Yoarashi, who sits next to him and chuckles at the shout, a glance.

A few seconds later, his phone rings again. “Don’t yell.” Shoto says right after picking up.

“Shoto!! You have woken up!”

“Obviously.” Shoto tries not to roll his eyes. “Aizawa-sensei is taking me back to the dorm. Don’t come. Don’t call unless necessary . Bye.”

“Wait Shoto - “ Shoto exhales deeply. His headache feels worsened.

Yoarashi reaches out to him and starts kneading his neck and shoulders, and Shoto cannot help but shut his eyes and purrs like a kitten. He misses the warmth and fondness in the other boy’s eyes.

The boys enjoy their moment so much that they do not notice the teachers in the front seats are observing them through the rear view mirror. Present Mic mouths ‘shovel talk’ and winks at Aizawa.

Aizawa gives him a middle finger in return.

-

“I never get the chance to wander around U.A. and take a good look.” Yoarashi says as the boys slowly walk back to the class 2A’s dorm from the main entrance, where Present Mic dropped them off, “I wonder which school covers a larger land area, U.A. or Shiketsu?”

Shoto shrugs in response.

“Where of U.A. is your favorite?” Yoarashi turns slightly to face Shoto, grinning brightly, “Do you have any secret spot?”

“No…...Do you? I mean in Shiketsu.” Shoto looks at the other boy with curiosity in his eyes.

Yoarashi’s grin gets mischievous. “In Shiketsu, we have a building for principal’s and teachers’ offices. It's the tallest building of all, and the view from its rooftop is the best I’ve ever seen. But,” He pauses for a moment, then stage-whispers, “Everyone is restricted from the area! Not just the door to it is locked, but there’s even surveillance cameras along the stairs towards it. I had always wondered what’s on the rooftop that needs so many security measures.”

Shoto’s lips upturn at the wind-wielder’s exaggerated expression. “Did you find anything?”

“Nothing but the most heavenly scenery I have seen!” Shoto can see the light sparkling in the other boy’s eyes. “The sky seems so close that you can touch it. The buildings, the people, the city feel distant. You can see the mountains far away. And it is quiet and peaceful there, all you can hear is the breeze…...It calms me all the time.”

“That sounds beautiful.”

“You have to see that! Come to Shiketsu and I’ll show you!”

“You said it’s a restricted area.” Shoto tries to suppress his smile and resume his usual emotionless face.

“We’re not breaking the rules as long as no one discovers.” Yoarashi responds with a (pretentious) stern look. “We just need to fly to the rooftop with my winds!”

Shoto cannot help but giggle softly. “I take this as a yes then! And our cafeteria serves the best udon that you really need to try! I know you love soba but our beef udon is the tastiest in Japan……”

Shoto listens to Yoarashi’s endless talk as they continue walking to the dorm. He has to admit that sometimes noisiness feels good. Just sometimes.

-

The front doors of the dorm swing open when the boys just step on the lawn outside. Hagakure hops out and waves to Shoto vigorously, then twitches to scream into the hall, “Todoroki’s BACK!!”

She then runs to Shoto, followed by Ashido bouncing out and Kirishima rushing like a cannonball. They center Shoto in their boisterous warm violent group hug.

“- Oh my god we miss you Todoroki -“

“- Bro you should be more careful but still you’re so manly -“

“- Kiri stop holding so tight you’re pressing Todoroki -“

They hug like forever, and finally release Shoto and push and pull him into the dorm when they hear a muffled roar from the dorm.

Yoarashi watches the group hugging and walking into the dorm through. He likes that Shoto brightened up and looked more relaxed and delighted when surrounded by his classmates.

“Thank you for escorting Todoroki back.” Yoarashi startles a little when Shoji, who stands next to him soundlessly, speaks up.

“Ugh, it’s nothing. Todoroki is a friend and I’ll do anything to help!”

“Friend, huh?” Shoji repeats thoughtfully. He jerks his head, gesturing towards the dorm. “Come on in.”

Bakugo is shouting (as usual) when Yoarashi and Shoji walk in. “EVEN THREE-YEAR-OLD KNOW THEY NEED TO WASH THEIR HANDS ONCE COME HOME AND BEFORE MEALS. FUCKING DO BETTER THAN TODDLERS, HALF ‘N HALF!”

“I washed them already…!”

Bakugo grumbles and turns back to the stove. Shoto sits at the table closest to the kitchen, with Midoriya and Iida sitting opposite and talking to him. The greenette and bluenette gesticulate and speak enthusiastically, but Shoto seems a bit unfocused as he keeps craning his head hoping to find out what smells so mouth-watering.

He looks into Bakugo’s eyes with his own hungry pitiful puppy eyes when the white-blonde walks to him. Bakugo huffs, placing a clay pot in front of Shoto, followed by a bowl and a spoon.

Whatever is in the clay pot smells like warm delicious food . And Shoto is starving. Still, he looks at Bakugo and says, “...It’s not cold soba…”

“It is not.”

“But…” Shoto tries to request, “Can I have cold soba?” His stomach growls untimely.

Bakugo inhales deeply, and bursts, “FUCKING START EATING, ICYHOT, OR I’LL HAVE GLASSES FEED YOU. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOUR GODDAMN STOMACH CAN TOLERATE COLD SOBA WHEN YOU HAVEN’T EATEN FOR FUCKING ELEVEN DAYS??!”

Said ‘Glasses’ glances at Bakugo and pushes his eyeglasses up with his middle finger. He then turns to Shoto with a solemn face, seemingly ready to do what Bakugo said.

Shoto opens up the pot, pouting a little. The chicken zosui inside smells so good that his stomach rumbles even louder, and he immediately gives up arguing and eagerly starts his first meal for days. Bakugo stands next to him, arms crossed and appears to be pleased by Shoto’s reaction.

“Oi, Baldy.” The white-blonde raises an eyebrow to Yoarashi, who has been staring at them for a while, “Did you have breakfast?”

“Ah, no! Are you going to make me some?”

Bakugo puffs, walking back to the kitchen. “Just some leftovers. Sit down and wait.”

Yoarashi takes a seat next to Shoto compliantly with a grin. He knows his friend is a softie, but there’s no way The Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight would admit.

“Kacchan!” Midoriya straightens up from his seat and calls, “Actually…can I have some too?” He receives a prompt bawl from the kitchen, “YOU JUST ATE AN HOUR AGO, SHITTY NERD!”

-

Shoto sinks into the couch with a full stomach, cuddled by Uraraka on his right and Asui on his left. With his classmates and Yoarashi around him, sitting on the floor or couches in the common area, chatting and squealing while playing Switch, Shoto feels warm and safe and drowsy.

“Thought that you’re having classes……” He murmurs.

“Aizawa-sensei planned so, but Principal Nedzu and Yagi-sensei think we deserve a break, ribbit. Classes resume next week.” The froggy girl answers as she inspects Shoto’s mark attentively. “This part of your skin,” She brushes over the mark, “seems hotter than the others to me. how does it feel, ribbit?”

“Umm……tired?” Shoto mutters, his head resting over Asui’s. Uraraka chuckles at his answer, “No no, Todoroki-kun. It’s your mark we’re talking about. And even you’re tired, it’s not good to nap right after a meal. Try to stay with us a little longer, okay?”

Ashido must have caught the last line of Uraraka, because she throws herself onto Shoto and cries out dramatically, “Noooooo! Don’t leave us, Todoroki!” And Kaminari follows suit, “Wake up, Todoroki, wake up! Please, I'm begging you!”

Shoto groans, feeling like being hit by a car, or two.

“Ashido! Kaminari! Stop abusing Todoroki immediately! Please remember that he’s still sick!” Iida exclaims disapprovingly, hands air-chopping.

“Oh come on Iida! We are just trying to show Todoroki our love.” Ashido tilts her head up with a pout. Tokoyami looks up from the novel he is reading and sighs, “Maybe try a gentler way next time?”

“Ya, like making him tea?” Sato hands Shoto a mug of hot lemon mint tea, and puts down a plate of chocolate cookies on the side table, “and bringing him some sweets?”

“Am I the only one feeling like Sato is bribing Todoroki?”

“I’m actually trying to bribe everyone here.” Sato places a tray with another plate of cookies and cups of tea on the coffee table, and Ashido and Kaminari instantly cheer and pull away from Shoto to grab the cookies.

The refreshing smell of mint tea makes Shoto awake slightly. He takes a little sip, and looks at Midoriya who has already studied him for a while. “What’s that, Midoriya?”

“So…...how do you feel, Todoroki-kun?” The concern and worries in the greenette’s eyes almost overflow. “Aizawa-sensei hasn’t told us any details except that you were hit by a quirk which would make you sleep a lot. So how do you feel? And what’s the quirk effect?”

The chatting and squealing die down and everyone gazes at Shoto, waiting for his answers.

“Umm...tired, sleepy, that’s all I feel. And I don’t know much about the quirk effect either.” Shoto repeats what Aizawa told him yesterday. The class remains silent after Shoto’s explanation, except for the analytical mumbling and the soft scratching sound of note-taking from Midoriya.

“...Fairy tales are real...We have a Sleeping Beauty right here,” Kaminari wonders, and Jiro side-eyes him, “Really, Kami? That’s all you think of after hearing all these?”

“Ugh, yeah?” The blonde blinks blankly. “I mean, it’s not like the quirk effect cannot be cured. Kisses from someone related, probably someone who loves Todoroki and he loves…The cure is simple.” He imitates a kissing gesture.

“As far as we know, Todoroki isn’t in any relationship.” Jiro says, coiling her earphone jacks and narrowing her eyes at Shoto, “unless he is in one secretely ……”

“My radar would have sensed that if he was.” Ashido shrugs, “Also, Todoroki is too pure for romance. And too oblivious.”

Shoto feels like he should protest against Ashido's comment, but he just shuts his mouth and takes another sip of tea.

“So we don’t have Prince Charming coming to the rescue. What do we do then?” Hagakure asks when half-lying on Ojiro’s back, worries lacing in her voice.

“We should wait for further instructions from Aizawa-sensei, fellows! We - “

“Maybe Todoroki is in love with someone and he doesn’t realise? So we just need to help him to figure it out!”

“ - have no understanding of the quirk and its effect, and any reckless -

“Or maybe he’s not. How about we get him a girlfriend?”

“ - act may cause deterioration of Todoroki-kun’s health! We need to think twice before - “

“Or a boyfriend?” Out of the corner of his eyes, Todoroki sees that Yoarashi blushes. The wind-wielder hides his face by taking gulps of tea.

The discussion continues buzzing and Kaminari clears his throat exaggeratedly to catch everyone’s attention, “Guys, I think we have some misunderstandings here...Have you watched the movie ‘Maleficent’?”

Most class 2A members nod in confusion, and Sero is the first one to realise what the blonde implies. “True love’s kiss! Motherly love!”

“That’s right! In the movie, the witch that cursed Princess Aurora kisses her forehead and the princess awakens, because the witch has parental love for the princess,” says the unexpected Disney professional, Kaminari, “And based on what Aizawa-sensei said, It doesn’t look like the person, or people, giving kisses must be romantically related to Todoroki. So - “

“ - So maybe just anyone who loves Todoroki and he loves too? family? friends?” Jiro interrupts with a smirk, “kinda surprising when all these comes from you, Kami.”

“Hey!”

Ashido slaps on the coffee table so hard that everyone jumps at the sound. “So what are we waiting for now? Let’s start!!”

“Start what?” Kirishima asks, and Tokoyami whispers, “I don’t like whatever Ashido’s idea is……”

"Start showing our love to Todoroki! with kisses!!!”

“Eri, let’s go.”

“But why, Hitoshi-nii? Why don’t we go inside?”

“The people inside are going crazy. We should stay away.”

“Deku-nii is going crazy?!”

Notes:

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!

Another chapter! I made it!
It's slightly different from what I originally thought....I was thinking that it's like a kissing contest of class A babies but when I wrote, contest thing seems not really fit.
And I still have no idea how the kissing campaign would go......
P.S. I like that someone in class A is Disney professional XD I hope it wouldn't seem odd :P

Okay, again, English's not my native language. So please let me know if there's grammar mistakes or odd sentences.
And tags.....I'm still not familiar of tags things_(:з」∠)_
