"Mr.Park could you come show the class your gift?" Mr. Choi says after sending Mindy Martin back to her seat.
I stand up exited to show off.
As I'm standing up a boy walks into the room wearing sun glasses with his hood up.
"Ah, yes" He turns to the boy "I forgot we have a new student..."
He trails off then perks up.
"Mr. Min? That's you right?" The boy nods still wearing everything while looking at the ground, "Would you mind introducing yourself?"
"Why?" He says in a deep voice that shakes me to the core of my being.
"So that everyone can get to know who you are and what your gift is" Mr. Choi says, visibly getting frustrated.
"No thanks" The person says and sits down in the back with Seokjin.
Mr. Choi goes back to his desk and sits in his chair.
"Okay then, Mr. Park you may start" I start walking towards the front of the class and grab 2 pots of soil from the side of the room.
I walk up to the front and empty the 2 pots onto the floor in front of me.
I place my hands on the soil in front of me and close my eyes. I open them and find a small sprout has bloomed under my palms.
I stand up and look down at it.
I focus all my energy on it and feel my eyes roll in the back of my head. I soon feel myself start to float upward, but not enough to touch the ceiling, only hovering just above the ground.
I hear gasps and decide that's enough.
I open my eyes and get back down to the ground.
I then light the giant flower on fire and let it burn to a pile of ash.
I look around the room into faces of awe. All except 2 faces are of awe. Kim Seokjin and the boy.
They were sitting together in the back talking.
"Any questions for Mr. Park?"
I see Minx raise their hand.
"Yes Minx" They quickly stand up, as we are supposed to when asking or saying anything.
"What exactly is your power?" I smile, as I love answering this question.
"Well, I'm glad you asked" I lean against the wall and grab a piece of chalk.
I start picking at the chalk while answering.
"I have the gift of Earths Elements. Fire, Earth, Water, and Air" I smile "I can do anything with those 4 elements. I can grow mountains, Make rivers, Make a tornado, I can even light the whole world on fire" I answer.
I hear Jin's windshield wiper laugh from the back.
I also hear shushing from the same general area in the back.
The laughing gets louder, so does the shushing.
As the shushing gets louder so does the laughter.
Soon everyone but the boy starts laughing.
He doesn't even let out a smile. I find it utterly hilarious
