Sweet tooth: A Ginger x Darling Story🍭❤️💙🗡️
Prologue: Bittersweet
(Ending of Spring Unsprung)
The White Knight and the bubblegum haired witch were coming from the well of wonders. They had just gone through the portal that led them back to the world of Ever after High. Color was returning once more around them, bringing everything back to life.
The White Knight helped her up the hill, lending her their big, armored hand.
They soon realized this adventure was over as they reached the top of the hill opening up to EAH. The candy witch maiden wouldn't know who they were, and it would never be spoken of again.
They paused at the top of the hill looking down at their school now fully in color. The animals of the forest now alive flying around them in the sweet spring air.
"Thank you for getting me home" Ginger smiled sweetly up at the tall knight.
"It was my duty and my honor" the knight said with a bow, "but please don't tell anyone how we got here".
The candy witch jumped in for a hug, catching the knight a little off guard till the hug was returned. They both stepped back, looking into each other's eyes.
"I promise" Ginger said but as she was scurrying away, she spotted sapphire blue eyes beneath the white armor.
She continued down the hill pausing just a moment, unsure if she'll ever see the mysterious knight again. Feeling downhearted that their adventure was over but also wanting something else, something amiss.
It was all so bittersweet.
A part of her wanted to turn back, longing for more but she went on anyway back to Ever After putting the White Knight out of her mind.
The White Knight watched as she went on the path to Ever After High and just after the cookie maidens' pink pigtails were out of sight, she took off her helmet revealing platinum blonde locks and light blue streaks cascading down her back through the wind.
A feeling of melancholy swept over her, but she couldn't tell her, nor anyone else that she, Darling Charming, was The White Knight. It was a secret she had to bear as a princess and as a knight.
She put her helmet back on, turning back to the forest taking Ginger out of her mind going back to her responsibilities….
