Work Text:
A thought occurred to me as I sat in homeroom, doing my US History homework. Richie sat next to me, doodling in his math book. I leaned over and poked him with my eraser.
"Hey," I whispered. "What's Edwin Alva's middle name?"
"Timothy," he whispered back, not looking up from his drawing. I could always trust him to know the trivia I wanted.
"Edwin Timothy Alva?" I whispered and pushed my textbook into his line of sight, the page showing a glossy, black and white picture of Thomas Alva Edison.
He snorted in amusement and I pulled my book back.
