God how did you end up in here, stuck in this damn facility. Everything was against you. Everything. Except for one bear who you were more than grateful for, and who you had grown a terrible separation anxiety for. You hated every moment you had to go and figure something out on you're own, Freddy didn't judge however. He just pulled you close and stroked your hair, and convinced you that you were strong enough to survive on you're own. And now you were about to find the daycare.
It took some searching, and dragging Freddy as close as you could so you felt safe. You mentally noted to thank him for being so patient with you and following you where you wanted him, even if he always couldn't. You finally found yourself at the top of the slide, taking a deep breath. You were still looking for places to hide, so you could wait out the night. Of course, Freddy couldn't be that since he had to recharge and everything.
You didn't really actually want to do anything to try escaping early or anything like that. You just wanted to wait it out and never come back, even if you would miss Freddy a bit. You shook your thoughts aside and stretched your arms out. You crawled closer to the slide, taking a deep breath before allowing yourself to go down. It was a bit small, probably for toddlers anyway. You let out a soft 'oof' sound as you hit the colorful spheres below. You shook some off before your attention was averted upwards to a balcony/stage. A sun robot, the one you've seen on a few posters on you're here, revealing himself. Your heart dropped. This wasn't good. What if it was going to try hunting you down like everything else?
As you tried to scramble out, you were lifted into metallic arms. "Oh! New friend! You're sure up late, are we having a slumber party?"
You were a little taken aback by the bombardment by him, taking a second to realize he didn't seem to mean any harm. You panted a little before launching your arms around him and burying your face in his shoulder, tears of relief and built up stress threatening to flow. His little monologue was cut short as he was quick to cradling you as you then wrapped your legs around him. You felt as he bounced you a little before skipping off to what you presumed to be a spot he deemed comfortable for you, sitting down on the floor with you in his lap.
For the first time other than Freddy, you were met with an attempt at comfort. You fidgeted a little, as you whimpered, softly babbling about how scared you were of this place.
"Hey, hey, hey. You're safe here, I promise." He assured. You gasped and panted as an attempt to hold back sobs of frustration and stress. Now, he wasn't used to this kind of behavior coming from older kids, but he didn't judge nor mind. He would always want to help a friend! He rubbed your back and head, starting to hum a soft tune. Your head had moved down to his chest as you snuggled closely, feeling a sense of safety start to wash over you.
He felt as your tension slowly started to dissipate, as you relaxed into him more and more. Your breathing slowed as the small panic of everything before having settled in was starting to get over with. He was silently thrilled to have relaxed you, even if only so much. He knew what it was like out there, even if he didn't show it. He understood that some other bots weren't as friendly. Even being a little nervous about himself, but hopefully that wouldn't have to be a worry. Soon, you looked up at him, meeting large pupils in his eyes, and a cheery look plastered on his face.
"What're you called?" You murmured softly, curious about your current protector.
"You can call me Sunny, new friend!" Sunny smiled. You smiled softly yourself, a very soft breathy giggle in your chest. Now you still had a bit of wariness in your system, as well as some left over panic. But, you were feeling a little more secure in these arms. "Well, I'm (Y/N)," you introduced, after relaxing you're breath. Your hair was ruffled and a soft affectionate kiss was pressed to the top of your head, making you squeak softly and smiling a little. You wrapped your arms around him in a snug squeeze in reply. "Could I... stay here for the rest of the night?" You asked, a little hesitantly. You felt a nuzzle against your head. "Of course (Y/N)! As long as you need!" He chimed.
You almost felt a little sad thinking that'd you'd leave and never be back. This guy seemed so helpful and happy, how were supposed to just leave him? Freddy too, you'd have to think on it later. Maybe you'd come back when things got a bit better, and during the day. Hopefully there wouldn't be too many people in your way.
Eventually you settled in, snuggled in with a soft yawn. Before much longer you fell asleep, your protector watching over you to whole rest of the night.
