jisung still hasn't gotten an answer.
he doesn't understand why his mind and his heart are both trained on the slightly older boy who abandoned him.
they were best friends and jisung has cried plenty when they were still close.
but why is he currently crying right now when he has already left.
jisung has felt many things in his twenty-one years of living on this planet.
he has felt heartbreak. he has felt losing a loved one. he has felt crying due to physics.
but the feeling that came when the slightly older boy left him all alone was way worse.
he felt empty.
he did all his classes and chores yet nothing satisfied the ropes deep in his stomach.
his knees tingled whenever he stood because he sat too much.
his stomach grumbled whenever noon passed and he still didn't drink a sip of water.
his fingers lost all power because he clenched too much and too hard.
he was losing people because he was losing himself.
he was forced to realize that even if u don't change, people around will.
he realized that one day, looking back, all of their memories will feel distant.
faces will be blurry.
smiling when you have finally moved on and finally looking back without breaking down.
jisung knows he is truly not alone.
felix does a good job making him stay grounded.
but felix also leaves.
felix leaves him when it's the middle of the night and the sleep finally catches on to the one-day younger boy.
and when it hits 2 am, jisung is once again left alone.
left alone with his racing thoughts.
left alone with his tears pricking at the edge of his eyes.
left alone with the constant need of needing someone near him.
and when it hits 9 am, jisung finds himself with felix once again.
they go to classes together.
they eat at the nearby cafe together.
they tackle their homework together.
they do the things jisung and hyunjin once did together.
the things that chan and hyunjin now do together.
chan had always been there for the duo.
he introduced them to each other way back in middle school.
he was there to help solve their first big fight together.
he was there when hyunjin needed help calming jisung because he was spiraling too fast.
and when hyunjin abandoned him, chan had to choose.
luckily for him, felix stepped into view and took jisung under his wings.
now with their small circle of friends being broken, chan stayed with hyunjin and felix stayed with jisung.
from now on, it's jisung. and hyunjin.
