featuring a cozier theme, so don't expect heavily plot-based one-shots here unless it was just what i happened to write! i'll usually come and write something for this book as a stress reliever, or just for fun :]

welcome to another one of my one-shot books. if you have any doubts about a request you want to send in, just leave a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. or if it helps, just send it to me privately through messages! I'm open to accepting mostly anything as long as it follows the rules below.

  • I won't be doing any NSFW content. I'm not only asexual but a minor, plus seemingly all of our alters seem to be ace as well, and just in general, none of us care for it. so, if that's all you're here for, then shoo, 'cause you won't be getting it.
  • I'm all for angst/fluff, though! while most of these one-shots usually won't be super plot heavy (if I can even manage that), I'm perfectly fine with touching on sensitive topics or just flat-out injuring the reader.
  • I accept prompts! whether it's something you found on tumblr, a certain song/playlist, or a prompt you came up with, go on ahead and send it in.
  • I mainly write for a gender-neutral reader, technically agender. but if you specifically want me to write something with a female reader, just let me know! I usually try to avoid writing from a male perspective, though, since I just don't "click" with it well, y'know? which is probably odd for us, but whatever.
  • try and be at least somewhat specific with your request! just one or two short lines describing it won't usually do any good in terms of helping my mind to create a mental image for it and will just get us stuck. so, I'd appreciate it if you could give me a good example of how you want the one-shot to go or just some general context.
  • I won't write for toxic/abusive relationships or hint at any cheating. I've grown up around those types of relationships for years, and I'd rather not write about it as if it's something cute. plus, just in general, it makes us really uncomfortable.
  • I'll write for ADHD, depression, general anxiety, DID/OSDD, autism, tourette's, and social anxiety, since I have personal experiences with all of them. as for anything else, I'll be hesitant to write about it since I don't want to risk portraying it wrong by accident.
  • if it's important to the scenario, let me know if you'd prefer for it to be platonic or familial! I don't usually write romance now, since I have a boyfriend and know almost all of the characters I write for personally thanks to my system. while they don't actually mind being written for romantically, my heart's just not in it.

Well, today was certainly something.

Tell me about it.

Today had featured you switching several times throughout the day, or at least, that's what you assumed. That was the best idea you had thanks to the constant dissociation and blacking out when a new alter would switch in or you would simply jump back and forth between two specific alters within the span of ten minutes. Partially without even noticing until it had already happened and passed.

Pain.

Now here you were, at the doorstep of Sans and Papyrus' house.

You let out a sigh as you walked in through the door, quietly shutting it behind you. You glanced over to your right to see Papyrus standing at the counter, grinning at you as usual. "WELCOME BACK, (Y/N)!"

You gave him a small wave and a tired smile in response. "Thank you, Papyrus. I take it Sans is in the living room?"

"AS USUAL."

You let out a soft laugh, trying your best to ignore the dizziness that hovered on your shoulders. Once you walked into the living room and finally made it over to the couch, you set your bag down beside it before lying down across it. You brought your arms up and hid your face in your hands. It was eventually going to make your arms numb, but whatever. It gave you some sense of comfort from the lights in the house and helped ease the headache a bit.

On the other side of the room was Sans, chilling in the chair by the end of the couch. "sup."

Your only response to him was a simple mimic, which fortunately didn't take too much energy out of you to muster, since it was relatively quiet and didn't quite force an unfamiliar voice into your ears.

Sans peered up from the newspaper in his hands and over at you. "blurry today, huh?"

"Mhm..."

"hm... mind if i ask for a set of pronouns, then?"

You were silent for a moment. "They/them."

"gotcha."

You let your arms fall, resting one over your midsection with the other hanging off the side of the couch. Your eyes flickered across the ceiling as you waited for the black splotches to fade from your vision, the noise around you droned out by the sharp pain in your head. In the midst of simply letting yourself dissociate-since at this point, what else are you supposed to do-you paused as a thought surfaced.

You let a smug smile form on your face, and with half-lidded eyes, you muttered, "Identity blur more like fronting soup."

You've gotta be kidding me.

Sans' only response was a sudden snort, while Papyrus seemed to have superhearing since he leaned in through the living room doorway. "STOP."
