Gabriel Agreste not celebrating Christmas with his son was not shocking. Adrien was sitting on his bed head low on his thigh with his kwami eating Camembert.
Plagg looked at him chosen worriedly " Kid, You alright?" Instead of answering, Adrien sat up from his bed and said the transformation phrase
" PLAGG CLAWS OUT!" Chat Noir leaped through his window jumping from roof to roof.

Marinette was decorating the tree for Christmas while her parents were busy with cooking for their family dinner.
As Marinette was about to climb down from the chair, thanks to the her clumsiness she fell down taking the tree with her and ruining the decoration.
Marinette let out a soft groan " Stupid Clumsy Me." She felt someone presence in her room. " Need a hand , Princess?" Marinette looked around and saw Chat Noir lending her is hand. She took his hand and got up. What is he doing here? Today was not their patrol day? " What are you doing here, Chat Noir?"
He gave his very chat like grin " What do you mean? Saving a damsel in distress 0fcourse." Marinette rolled her eyes.
Suddenly her trap door opened and Sabine came up. " Sweety, dinners rea-Chat Noir?" Chat smiled. " Hey Mrs. Cheng." " What are you doing here?"
Chat sadly sigh " Nothing. I was just about to leave." He was about leave when Marinette stopped him by pulling his tail. " Why don't you have dinner with us?"

Adrien was touched but he didn't wanted to intrude on their family dinner. " No, its fine. I don't wanna intrude on your family dinner. Besides your dad won't probably like it."
He still remembered the weredad incident. So he was afraid of Tom's reaction. Sabine shook her head. " Nonsense. We'd be happy if you joined us Chat Noir. Beside Tom already forgave you." It gave him relief. He turned to look at Marinette to see if she was ok. She softly smiled. it was enough for him to understand. " I would love to Mrs.Cheng."
Adrien slowly walked down the stair with Marinette behind him. " What's up? Slowpoke." Chat turned to her. " I let you know princess that I am everything but a slowpoke."
" Sure you are. Prove it." He smirked and in one move came down. " See, Princess." " Yeah, Yeah."
They went to Marinette's dining room and he embraced for Tom's reaction. Tom looked up at him and was shocked for a second before he smiled and gave him a huge bear hug. If it weren't for Marinette he would have died by now from suffocation. " Papa! Let the poor go!"

They were having a great dinner and after some time Tom spoke up " So, Chat Noir, What were you doing in my daugther's bedroom. Did you realize you return her feelings so
you came back to confess. Were guys making love after he confessed. Chat did not know what to say to that. He was shocked, embarrased and speechless at the same time.
Marinette was sure her face was gonna exposed by her father's curiosity. But seeing Chat's discomfort she spoke trying to look angry but failed.
" Papa! We were not doing that. What do you take me for? Besides, I was decorating the Christmas tree when he came." Tom laughed.
" I was just joking Marinette. You should see you face!!!" Marinette grumbled something incoherent.

After they had dinner they were at the living room watching " Home Alone". Sabine got angry all of a sudden. " I wonder how the poor child is feeling being left alone." Sabine find it impossible
Chat mumbled. "Trust me. I know exactly how he feels. I " He tried to say it as quietly as he could but unfortunately the others heard him.
" What do you mean?" His princess asked. " Nothing." " It's not nothing. Chat Noir, is there something you're not telling m-us."
Chat realized that there was no point in lying anymore. " Only because you insisted, purrincess." He let out a deep breathe and thought for a second to think how to say it without giving away his identity. " Well, you see. Me and my parents always had a special bond. But one day I woke up ad saw my father without my mom. I asked him what happened but he ignored me. Nat-his assistant replied that my mother was gone forever. Ever since that day father started neglecting me. I was always left alone. I mostly homeschool so I didn't have much friends." Sabine and Tom felt sorry for the boy. " Well, atleast he spends Christmas with u right?" Chat didn't say anything.
He's silence was enought to make the trio realize the answer. " I don't even know what a family dinner feel like?" He said bitterly. Marinette and her parents felt sorry for how
their savior and partner was feeling. " Kitty, how do you spent Christmas night then?" Marinette asked.
Chat was shocked by the nickname but nontheless replied. " Well, I see pictures of Ladybug to pass my time." Marinette blushed at the last part.
Chat realized what he said and realized that Marinette's father was gonna crush him with his bear hand now. " I mean Ma-arinette's great to-o you know, Mr. Du-pain."
Marinette was laughing internally seeing her partner being scared of her father. Tom raised a eyebrow " Are you seriously still scared of me?" Chat smiled sheepishly.
" Well you could crush me with your bear hand, Mr. Dupain." Tom sigh. " Although I should-" Chat's face turned into a look that said " Oh No! I am gonna get crushed. Save ME!"
Marinette and Sabine laughed at the look on his face as they knew Tom was only joking. " but I have no right to. As I am kind of starting to ship Ladynoir. And Marinette is crushing on someone else right now. " Marinette could feel her face burning. While Chat was jealous and curious to know about the mystery guy. " Though I wouldn't mind crushing your father for how he treats you."
Adrien's face turned soft. " Thanks for everything. Mr and Mrs. Dupain - Cheng." Marinette cleared her throat. " Ahem." " And mostly you, my purrincess."

After the emotional moment Marinette took Chat upstairs and suggested playing Ultimate Mecha Strike 4. Currently, Chat and Marinette were playing.
" You can't beat me, Princess." Mari scoffed. " Let's see Chaton." They were playing for a quite of amount of time when Chat had an idea.
He cupped Mari's face and crashed her lips into his. As Marinette started kissing back, Chat opened one eye and moved his controller to resume meaning.
At the end he won and pulled back his attention into kissing Marinette. They were smooching for awhile until they break apart. She turned and saw Chat smirking. She realized what it meant. She turned to TV and saw that Chat had won.
" You cheated!" She pouted. Chat smirked. " All's fair in love and war purincess." " Your'e awful, kitty. " You know you love this purrfect kitty, Princess.
They heard and giggling and turned around to saw her parents sneaking up on them. " Ho-how long ha-have you been h-here?"
Sabine laughed. " Long enough to see you and Chat Noir making out." Tom smirked. " Still don't have any feelings for my daugthet, Chat Noir?"
Cat knew his face was crimson right now. He cleared his throat. " So, who do you have a crush on purrincess?" Marinette was blabbering nonsense when Tom cut her off.
" Adrien Agreste. My daughter has been crushing on him for awhile now." Chat was sure his e.x.e had stopped working. " Adrien Agreste? The Model. You have a crush on him?"
Marinette shyly nodded. " I know that you're thinking I only love him cause he's a model and good looking. But that's not true. I mean those are extras. But the real reason I love him is because he's always there for others. Always being kind to everyone even Chloe. His eyes are so gorgeous, I could lost in them. But when we first met I thought he was just like Chloe. But he proved me wrong when he decided to give me his mother's umbrella. He has a lot of things going on his life which he doesn;t deserve. He deserves someone better than me. I am just a shy and clumsy pathetic girl."
Chat could feel tears forming in his eyes from MArinette's speech. But there was one thing she was wrong about. " Princess you're wrong. Adrien Agreste might be everything that you said. But you are not pathetic. Clumsy? Shy? Yeah. But that's what makes you you. Pathetic? NEVER! You are everything but pathetic."
Mari softly smiled and hugged him. " Thank You for everything Chat Noir." He could only hug her back.
" You realize we are still here right?" Sabine poked him with her elbow. " Tom! Don't ruin the moment!!"

Chat stayed for a while until it was time to go. " Mr.Dupain, Mrs.Cheng, Marinette. Thank you for having me over. But I am afraid it's time for me to go."\
Chat was about to leave when Marinette hold his wrist. " Wait! Mama, papa can Chat Noir stay with me tonight? I don't want him to stay alone on the day of Christmas?"
Tom and Sabine thought for a moment before Tom cleared his throat. " Well I guess he could. But no funny business alright?" Chat nodded as Sabine and Tom laugh ignoring
Marinette's screech " PAPA!!"

Chat was laying with Marinette cuddling. He had never felt so warm and welcome on Christmas. " Chat" He heard Marinette's voice, " yes purrincess?
" I am sorry for what is happening in your civilian life." Chat softly smiled. " Its ok. Mari." " Does Ladybug know this?" Of course. She doesn't and Marinette knows it.
Chat sadly smiled " No." " Promise me you'll tell me-Ladybug if anything happens." " I paw-mise. Purrincess. This kitten won't let you down." Marinette softly laughed. They spent hours talking and Chat fell asleep knowing this was the best Christmas he ever had.
