Everything was just too much.
The lights were too bright, obnoxiously so, and every little background noise seemed to have gotten progressively louder, grating on the Squip's senses and making them feel like their head was going to burst.
They still weren't used to all the external stimulation that came with having a body. Before, they had experienced things through Jeremy, having the option to simply not process his external stimuli if it was unpleasant or overwhelming, but now? Now the Squip had no choice but to process everything, and being able to tune things out was a skill that they had not yet mastered.
A pained groan escaped them, their hands grabbing fistfuls of soft fabric as they pressed their face into it, burying themselves further into the depths of Jeremy's cardigan pocket in an attempt to just block everything out. The Squip had been so preoccupied with curling themselves into a ball that they hadn't noticed the space around them shifting, momentarily tensing up and then relaxing when they were shuffled into their much larger boyfriend's hand. They brought their own hand up to cover their eyes as they were lifted out of the pocket and up to the human's chest, a second hand coming up to carefully cup around them and block them from the near blinding light.
"Hey…" Jeremy started, fixing his soft gaze upon the microcomputer cupped within his hands. "Are you, um… are you okay?"
The Squip slowly lowered their hand from their face, looking up to meet the human's eyes. "No… 's too bright, 'nd too loud," they mumbled, grimacing, "makes my head hurt…"
Jeremy frowned, shifting his cupped hands slightly so that he could brush his smaller boyfriend's back with his thumb. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
The Squip hummed, looking to the side thoughtfully as they leaned into Jeremy's comforting touch. Truthfully, they had thought of something that might soothe their overloaded senses, or at least calm their nerves enough for them to begin processing some of those senses. The only issue was not knowing if Jeremy would be comfortable enough to go along with it, as discussing the idea before had only seemed to make him more hesitant. Only one way to find out, they supposed.
"Well…" They paused, thinking of how they should phrase it, "I was thinking we could try out that one idea, the one we talked about a while ago?"
After a moment with no reply the Squip looked back up at Jeremy, only to find that he was looking away now, a nervous expression having settled on his face. They felt the need to fill the silence, their voice taking on a softer tone as they spoke again, "We don't have to try it if you don't want t-"
"N-no, it's not that. I just…" Jeremy blurted out, trailing off as a faint blush spread across his face. "I just don't want to like, accidentally hurt you or something…" He finally murmured, just barely loud enough for the Squip to hear.
The Squip lightly patted Jeremy’s hand, still speaking softly, “You won’t, Jeremy."
Jeremy turned his head to look back down at the Squip, giving them a sheepish smile and hesitating for a moment. "... Are you sure?"
"Yes, Jeremy, I'm sure."
"Okay…" Jeremy closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and then lifting the Squip up to his face. He leaned in to quickly press a kiss to his smaller boyfriend's head, catching them off guard and causing their face to flush a bright pink.
The Squip sputtered for a moment from the unexpected kiss, pausing when they looked back and noticed that Jeremy's lips had parted, his tongue placed safely over his bottom row of teeth so that the Squip wouldn't hit them on their way in. Jeremy then slowly tilted his hands back, causing the Squip to slide forward into his maw and softly land on his tongue. The slickness and constant movement of the muscle beneath them caused them to lose their balance, momentarily struggling before finally managing to sit upright again so that they could look around.
There was certainly a lot more to look at than in Jeremy's pocket, even with the dim lighting. Deep reds and pinks were made shiny by a clear sheen of spit, and strands of saliva hung loosely from the roof of his mouth, glinting when they caught the light. It was rather pretty if the Squip was being honest. Speaking of saliva however, they were being thoroughly soaked with it now, receiving a slight shock of cold air that sharply contrasted with the humid warmth of the space every time Jeremy inhaled. The anticipation was practically eating at them at this point.
"You can continue," the Squip called out, inching forward, "I'm ready."
They were then lifted up by Jeremy's tongue, being gently pressed against the roof of his mouth as he tilted his head back. The Squip looked down as they started to descend, watching as his throat opened up, eagerly waiting to pull them deeper into the human's body. They sighed in relief as they were pulled down, the light from above fading as they were finally immersed and sealed in comforting darkness.
Jeremy shivered at the new and odd sensation, using his fingers to trace the Squip's descent down his throat. It wasn't nearly as bad as he'd been expecting it to be. He had been expecting it to be frightening, but it was actually kind of… nice, although the occasional wriggling on the way down was somewhat unpleasant, it was an experience that Jeremy could see himself enjoying if they ever wanted to repeat it. He was pulled from his thoughts by the feeling of the Squip reaching his stomach, their weight settling pleasantly at his core.
The Squip shifted around after being deposited into the stomach, maneuvering themself into a more comfortable position while the small space groaned and lightly squeezed around them, almost like it was welcoming them. It was definitely warmer here than in Jeremy's mouth, yet more cozy than suffocating, but the Squip was more focused on the sounds than anything. The rapid thumping of Jeremy's heart, the slightly shaky in and out of his breathing, a few deeper gurgles and growls echoing up from below them; the sounds of Jeremy's body continuing to work all around them. It was mesmerizing, in a way.
"H-hey, are you alright in there…?" Jeremy tentatively asked, placing a hand over his midsection. It surprised him just how clearly he could feel the Squip's form within himself.
The added pressure from outside caused the stomach to squeeze comfortingly around the Squip, Jeremy's voice quietly echoing around them as they resituated themself. "I'm alright, Jeremy."
Jeremy heaved a sigh of relief, only for his breath to hitch a second later at the bizarre sensation of soft touches from within. The Squip was slowly running their hands over the stomach walls, observing the way the silky smooth surface lurched under their touch. It was definitely a new feeling to Jeremy, and the Squip for that matter, but it wasn't at all unpleasant. In fact, the combined sensation of soft touches and the Squip's weight settled warmly at his core was relaxing, enough so that Jeremy was actually starting to feel quite drowsy.
While Jeremy carefully maneuvered himself into a more comfortable position, the Squip continued their awed observations of their unorthodox safe place. Soft, silken walls pressed in around them, gently squeezing the Squip in their bizarrely comforting embrace. The echoing thumps of Jeremy's heartbeat were slowing down to a more normal, even pace, the rhythmic beating urging the microcomputer to cease their constant observations and relax for once. Their exploratory touches slowly transitioned into something more akin to slow petting as they allowed themselves to sink into the organ's soft embrace, finally giving in to the soothing ambiance and comfort that surrounded them.
It occurred to the Squip some time later that their boyfriend had probably fallen asleep, at least judging by his slowed breathing and heartbeat. They didn't mind though, in fact they were glad that Jeremy was actually comfortable enough to fall asleep like this, it meant that he trusted them, and himself. Not to mention that they actually quite enjoyed this, feeling safe and wanted; protected from all sides by the person they cared for most. At some point the Squip's eyes drifted shut, or maybe they had already been shut, the pitch darkness of the space made it difficult to tell. Their petting motions slowly subsided as their mind began to wander, the warm silky environment and the secure feeling that accompanied it filling their head up with soft cotton.
The Squip's breathing eventually evened out as they too succumbed to sleep, cradled comfortably in the safest place they knew.
