The day had finally come. George, Sapnap, and Dream had met up a few weeks ago, and they were getting ready to announce it to their fans through a vlog they had filmed that documented the first few days since George’s plane had landed. They’d gotten footage of the instant they saw each other when Sapnap and Dream went to pick him up from the airport, and clips of their car ride on the way to their house.
They had three videos planned, one for each of their channels. Dream’s channel would have the main vlog, which would be them at the airport and food court, plus him and Sapnap setting up George’s room ahead of time. Sapnap had finished editing his video showing all of the crewboys going to Universal and Disney world that had stretched out to about two days of footage.
But George’s would be a little different from the other two. Him and Dream had started dating a few days after the brunet had arrived, confessions done late at night over ice cream that the two would never forget.
He was planning to announce it to everyone over his video. He was going to tell Dream that he had one last box that was shipping on Christmas Eve. How he was going to put himself into that box, he had no clue. But he was going to attempt it nonetheless. He’d already wrapped the 6 foot tall box in wrapping paper when the other two weren’t at the house, so they wouldn’t question why he was on a stool trying to put a huge bow on top of a box that was close to touching their ceiling.
Sapnap knew of course, the hazel eyed man had been tasked with getting Dream out of their house for a while, while he came back to help George get into this ginormous box.
–
A few days later, Sapnap had done exactly what he needed to. He’d sent the blond out grocery shopping, claiming that he was too lazy to go, and George was asleep. Of course, Dream went, not wanting to wake his boyfriend up.
George had decided to keep watch at the window near the front door, head peeking out of curtains, and brown eyes squinting to make sure the blue-gray BMW pulled out of the garage. Seeing that it had, he walked over to the living room, where Sapnap was waiting, having just carried the wrapped box over to the couch.
“Okay so do you have a plan on how the hell we’re supposed to get you into a box or am I just going to throw you in? I’m down for either at this point,” Sapnap chuckled.
“Of course I have a plan, idiot, I’m just going to get a stool or stand on the couch or something,” George retorted.
“And when you land headfirst into the box and break it, what's your genius plan for then?” Sapnap said, eyebrows raising.
“Well obviously that’s not going to happen,” George scoffed, fluffy hair going across his forehead.
Spoiler alert: George jumped from the couch on a stool that was on top of the couch into the box, or attempted to at least.
Luckily, the box was unharmed, and so was the brunet that did end up on the carpet with a laughing Sapnap right next to him.
“Okay, see this is when we move onto plan B, " George retorted, rubbing his arm where he hoped a bruise wouldn't start to form.
"Yeah no, fuck this I'm putting you in that box," Sapnap said, already picking the taller man off of the floor and somehow lifting him into the box.
Also of course with George complaining throughout the entire time, still having a pout on his face when he was peering up at Sapnap when he placed the lid on the box.
"Alright finally you're in that dumb box. I called Dream, and he's gonna be here in a bit so don't move mk?" Sapnap said, walking over to the kitchen to get a cookie out of the basket that Dream's mom had brought them a few days ago.
"Yeah because I was about to travel the world while inside of a fucking box , what else am I going to do?" George drawled, regretting not getting a haircut earlier as he'd spent more time than he'd like blowing his bangs off of his forehead.
He could hear his friend's laughter all the way from the kitchen.
---
"SHIT! Dreams gonna be here like now. You want to get any last minute stuff ready or anything?" Sapnap exclaimed.
"Oh wait get me that bow headband thing it'll get my hair out of my face and I forgot it anyways,"
Sapnap saw a bright red headband next to what he now calls his cookie basket, and brought it over to the box, lifting the lid, and not bothering to do anything more than drop it inside, George barely catching it.
"You couldn't have handed it to me?" George asked.
"Lemme think… nope" Sapnap responded, popping the p.
-
"DREAMS HERE GEORGE!" Sapnap yelled, startling the brunet in the box.
"FUCKING HELL! You didn't have to yell that! Okay are you ready?" George responded.
"Yeah yeah, I'm opening the door shut up,"
As if timed, the doorbell rang, the tone resonating around the house. Dream was here.
"Sapnap, I got your dumb groceries, where's George I wanna give him my present! AND WHAT IS THAT BOX IN THE LIVING ROOM?" Dream called inside, having just unlocked the door himself.
"It's for you, just open the box, you’ll love it!"
Dream put the grocery bags on the counter and kicked his shoes off, walking over to the wrapped gift box near the couch. As he took the lid off of the large box, he almost fell back onto the couch.
George had jumped out of the box and instantly into Dream’s arms. His arms wrapped around his neck, and legs wrapped around his waist.
Dream let out a yell. “AHHH HOLY SHIT GEORGE OH MY GOD! YOU ALMOST MADE BOTH OUR SKULLS CRACK OPEN!”
George was equally startled as he didn’t realize the impact that would happen as he jumped into his boyfriend's arms.
They’d settled on the couch now, George still in Dream’s lap, and brown eyes met green.
“Well, I didn’t so you should be thankful, Merry Christmas Dream, I love you,” The brunet giggled.
“Love you more Georgie, Merry Christmas,”
