Simon felt a hand ruffle his hair. He growled. Fulbright knew he hated it, yet, he did it anyway. "Fulbright-dono, why do you keep doing that? You know I hate it."
Fulbright smiled. "You look better with messy hair." The detective received an eye roll in return. "Come on, bird boy. It's cute."
That made Simon laugh. "Detective, messy hair is not cute; it's unprofessional."
Fulbright sighed. "Who cares about being professional when we're on our breaks?"
Simon scowled. "Look for someone else to be unprofessional with."
Fulbright whined and hugged him. "Bird boy, come on, you like it."
Simon blushed. Why did his husband have to be right?
