Work Text:
Kristoph took his usual seat on the school bus. He started to read the law book his father had given him. A young boy with pointy hair decided to, against the other kids' advice, sat next to him. "Hi, I'm Phoenix Wright. What's your name?"
Kristoph looked up from his book. "I'm Kristoph Gavin."
Phoenix shook the boy's hand. "Nice to meet you, Kristoph. What were you reading?"
He smiled as he showed the boy the cover. "It's a law book my father gave me."
Phoenix smiled. "That's so cool! My friend Miles wants to be a defense attorney too." He waved at the boy in the row across from them with light grey hair. The boy in question waved back.
Kristoph laughed. "What a happenstance."
Miles scooted closer to them and held out his hand for Kristoph to hold. "Hello, I'm Miles Edgeworth."
Kristoph quickly shook the boy's hand. "Kristoph Gavin."
Phoenix clapped his hands. "Wow, two lawyers, a musical theater actor, and an artist."
Kristoph saw a boy scoot closer to Miles. "Yeah! I'll be the best artist."
Miles shook his head. "Larry, aren't you forgetting something.
Larry scratched his head. "I am? Oh, yeah! I'm Larry Butz." Kristoph laughed. What a unique group of friends he had made.
