After a few years of marriage, Law wanted to go back to the place where the feelings have started, the place in which he became free after years of planning vengeance, of holding Cora’s mission, of overthinking the reason why he was saved, the place in which Luffy show him a miracle for the first time where he decided to follow the otter Capitan in his own way when he got more time to live and find a real reason to keep living and traveling through the sea.
He wanted to renew their vows here in Dressrosa after all they lived, the country has changed a lot since the last time they were here but the sunflower field stayed the same, full of color, the sweet fragrance of the sun, and the sunflowers permeating the air making Law smile, he wanted to come here to pick some flowers from the field and the surroundings that they can use for their ceremony latter on the day, the flowers he would be using were already picked but Luffy’s where still left off.
He should have known that his hyperactive and sometimes clingy husband wouldn't want to do it alone and would manhandle him to make him go, and ended up with him doing all the job like always, but in the end, it was kind of his fault since he couldn't deny anything to Luffy, at least no when he gave him those puppy eyes that should have lost their power when he got that growth spurt but no they were still as powerful and only became worse when he discovered that physical affection was something that Law actually crave and loved he just acted tough, so now every time he wanted something he will give him those big puppy eyes and will shove Law with physical affection and praises and he would crumble immediately.
