Ten was almost regretting inviting some of their friends around for Christmas day. He and his long term boyfriend, Johnny, had just moved into their very first house and thought it would be the best occasion for everyone to come around.
As he walked out of the kitchen and into the chaotic living room, however, he felt stupid for even thinking of such an idea. There were sixteen of them in total and Ten wasn’t completely sure they would end the night without ruining at least one part of the house.
“The food will be ready soon,” he announced as he walked into the lively front room, “we’re going to exchange presents now.”
Everyone cheered at the prospect of opening presents until they ended up in a makeshift circle, some people sitting on the sofa and chairs whilst the rest relaxed onto the floor.
It turns out that it’s quite difficult to exchange gifts between sixteen people. People were constantly bumping into each other as they attempted to find their designated person and Johnny had to call it to a stop half way through. They found a more orderly way to do it and they ended up exchanging them one by one, until everyone had a present on their lap.
It took a while but when everyone had finally given and received a gift in turn they opened them simultaneously. There were different shouts of excitement and horror, some people taking the chance to get the most horrendous gag gifts possible.
Ten himself opens his gift to see that Taeyong had gifted him a large glittery red dildo which had even Johnny gulping at the sheer size of it. He laughed loudly, sending a dramatic wink Taeyong’s way, who broke into laughter when he saw Johnny’s reaction.
By the time everyone had finished opening their presents, the floor was covered in wrapping paper and there were several piles of gifts. Ten spotted at least five different sex toys which he knew were bought as gag gifts but would probably end up being used regardless.
They moved into the dining room as Johnny stayed behind with a bin bag, dumping all the wrapping paper that he could find inside. Ten started to bring out the food as everyone took their seats, chatting among themselves.
It really is the most chaotic Christmas I’ve ever had, Ten shook his head fondly, taking his own seat and waiting for his husband, but it’s perfect anyway.
