Most of the time, it's Wei Wuxian who initiates their love-making. He laughs Lan Wangji into bed by nudging, kissing, nibbling, coaxing, flirting because it's what he does.
Most of the time, it's Lan Wangij who lets himself be laughed into bed because following Wei Wuxian's laughter and flirting eyes is what he does.
Most of the time, it's Lan Wangji who takes charge. He is careful yet demanding, tender but strong, and he knows how to touch Wei Wuxian just right. Nobody else knows how to make Wei Wuxian fly fearlessly for he will be there to catch him when he tumbles. Nobody else knows how to make Wei Wuxian shine bright as the sun without ever burning up.
Lan Wangji does not care about his own physical needs, for hearing Wei Wuxian's helpless little sounds of pleasure is the only reward he ever wants for himself. Their melody warms him from inside out.
But every now and then, Wei Wuxian takes charge. He is playful yet knowing, gentle yet unyielding, and he knows Lan Wangji like no other ever has and no other ever will. Nobody else knows how to make the snow inside of Lan Wangji melt. Nobody else knows knows how to make Lan Wangji's eyes flutter close with bliss.
Wei Wuxian does not care about his own physical needs, for seeing Lan Wangji come apart in his arms is the only reward he ever wants for himself. The beauty of it makes his heart sing with joy.
You see, when they are on their own, both Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are quite formidable.
But together?
Together, they soar.
