I'm on my way to Stell's Condo. Like what I said to him on messenger. I took another glimpse of our conversation before taking my helmet on and started the engine of my motorcycle.
I know he is not in his good state right now. I feel it. This past few days he sometimes avoid me but not in the manner that the other will notice. He still smile on me on work, sit besides me when we have interviews and talks to me, but related to works stuff. That's not Stell, that's not my Stell. He is clingy type of person even in workplace, especially in our "we" time.
I arrived at his condo 1 hour and 30 minutes. Turning off motorcycle and removing my helmet. I walked closer to this wood rectangular thing that separates us, and knock 3 times. Suddenly, the door open and Angel greeted me with his not so lovely smile. I know that it is fake, don't fool me with those timid curled up lips.
"Pau, pasok ka" he says guiding me to get in his condo.
"Naparito ka, what's atin. Ay wait what do you want, water, juice or softdrin-"
"Ikaw" I answered back. Hugging him tight from behind. I put my chin on his right shoulder and circled my arm to his waist.
"Mahal... I called him in whisper. "May problema ba?"
"Hahaha ano ka ba, wala Pau, anong problema sinasabi mo dyan?" He answered while removing from my embrace.
But before he could detangled his body to mine, I tightened my hug that's stop you from what you are doing.
I heared him, he's crying. I loosened my embrace and faced him. I removed his hands that covers his beautiful eyes. Wipes his tears that streams on his face.
I took his chin with my thumb and index finger, guiding him to faced me. I hear him hiccup from crying (cute)–I thought. I take my time memorising his beautiful features on his face, thick brows, long eyelashes, his nose bridge, and his red lips. I closer myself to him and slowly kissed him. Kissing him like saying "it's gonna be alright", "I will always be here for you", and "I will never leave your side". It tooks us minutes before we broke our kiss.
I placed my forehead to his, guiding his one hand to intertwined mine.
"Mahal, you know you can tell me anything right? Kahit ano pa yan, problema, kasayahan, or even random stuffs, you can tell me everything, wag mong sarilinin" I said.
He removed his forehead on mine, and put it on my chest.
"Pau, it's petty"
"If it's petty hindi ka masasaktan nang ganito Mahal, try me hmmm" caressing his hair and back.
"Pau, what (hic) if (hic) they don't (hic) want (hic) us to be together? (hic) What if (hic) they just tell us (hic) they are happy (hic) with us but (hic) the truth is the (hic) otherwise? What if they hat-
And right there, I kissed you again, stopping you from telling the last word. I laughed of what I did, (nakakarami kana Paulo) I said on my mind. I realized we are standing right after I arrived until now. I settle myself on his sofa, give my thighs a big space and pulled him to sit in between. I hugged him again and he cradle from my arms.
"Mahal, know that all your thoughts are valid, your feelings and emotions. I may not know all your thoughts and worries from your mind, but believe me when I say that those problems you mentioned is not true or.. even if that's true to others then, be it, we can conquer all diba? Together? We just need to work together. We are two in this relationship, never one" I say softly.
"Mahal, we don't need a lot of people to support US, the love we have together for each other, we just need those matters, my family and yours. That's all. Maybe some friends, like Jah, Ken and Josh".
"Pag yung tatlo na yun hindi tayo gusto together pag uuntugin ko sila" I joked and I am happy I did because I hear your angelic laugh.
"Mahal naman eh, pinapatawa mo naman ako sersyoso tayo dito eh" he say before he snuggles his face on my neck.
"Hahaha pero seryoso Mahal, hindi natin kailangan ng validation ng karamihan, kailangan lang natin ang iilan. We don't have problems with my Family, lalo na si Mama at Papa na halos ipamigay na ako sayo. Pati mga kapatid ko na ikaw na ata favorite kesa saakin" I chuckled.
"Same with my family Mahal, lalo na si Lola na palagi kang hinahanap saakin" he said.
I laughed at the memories came to my mind, one time Stell went home to his Lola. For one month of being not together, the first thing that his Lola asked was "kumusta si Pablo?".
"Hahahaha I still remember that, you video called me right away because your lola was asking where I am and if I will visit her" I retorted and laugh.
Silence...
Silence...
Silence... The comforting one.
I broke the silence and says, "Mahal, hindi kita iiwan, kahit na marami pang magsabing ayaw nila sa relasyon natin, andito lang ako palagi. Tayong dalawa, we will face them together hmm" I assured him and kissed the crown of his hair.
"Promise?"
"Promise with all my heart".
He sighed. A long deep sigh. And I think it is the most tranquil sigh I heard. Like he is saying that he is alright now, he is fine now. I smile.
"Mahal, matulog na ikaw, dito lang ako sa tabi mo". I said.
"Hmm", he yawned. "Good night Mahal, thank you and I love you so much Paulo". He said and give me a peck on my lips.
"Good night, My Angel". I replied
The sunset is beautiful, so as the moon. Sun may leave you after the day, and there I am, the Moon, lighting up your darkest night. You will not see me everyday and everynight, but I am always here, around you.
I cannot take all your worries for now, but everyday with all my life, I will assure you that we can and we will prove them wrong. We will work for it to happen, someday. For now, rest you mind and body. Let me be your warm bed and fluffy pillow. –Pablo's thought.
