Work Text:
Sascha sat in the patio, trying to repair his bike, when Lou came.
He looked up astonished.
„Hi, äh, Isi is not here, it’s …“
„Dancing rehearsal, I know“
Lou sat down beside him, opening her backpack.
She took out serveral tools.
„It’s the ball-bearing, I heard.“
„Yeah, but I’m ok, thanks, I think, I can do it on my own.“
„I know you could, but I can help, so it is easier and faster and … nicer, I think“
Sascha gave her a shy smile. „Right … ähm, thanks?!“
„No big deal. To be honest, I use this to say ‚hi‘ to you as well.“
„Äh …hi?!“
„You don’t need to be afraid of me, ok?!“
„I not AFRAID“
„Jealous …“
Sascha blushed. „Perhaps“
„No need. You two share a whole life together and this is beautyfull.“
„But Isi kissed you …“
„To realize, that it’s YOU, they want.“
Sascha smiled.
„You see, we love the same person, but in a very different way.“
Sascha nodded. „I won’t sulk, if you two spend time together. I swear.“
Lou laughed. „It’s more Isi’s thing to sulk, isn’t it.“
Sascha giggles. „Sometimes“
They worked together for a while and Sascha had to admit that Lou was right. It was easier, faster and much nicer.
When they finished their work, Lou put her tools back in her backpack and lit up a cigarette.
She stood up and gave Sascha a short nod.
„Nice to meet you“, she said with a wave and went away.
„Same“, Sascha said.
She turned around and lifted her eybrow.
„Take care of Isi, okay? Or … you know ….“, she pointed out to her backpack full of tools, „… I will take care of you, dude …“
She grined, but Sascha knew, that there was a truth in her threat.
He put his hand on his chest.
„I promise!“
