“Hmm, what’s all this construction paper for?” Rain Beaudette Tadashi asked as she took off her Beanie and shook the rainwater off of her wings. “Shalom, Rainbow Dash, my sister and auntie April came to help Benjamin and I with decorating our dorm for Christmas.” Abby Schmidt explained. “Eyup.” Benjamin smiled. “I can’t wait for December, my husband David makes chicken soup dumplings and veggie lo mein. That’s why I proposed to him.” April smiled. She met David Bao at a kosher Chinese restaurant on Christmas. “That’s cool, can I make the Belen out of polymer clay? It’s not exactly a Jewish thing.” “Ah I think Mary needed some midwives to help her give birth and all that.” Anna June said as she handed Rain Figurines of Scarlet Witch, Wonder Woman, and Zatanna. “Those are superheroes- “Yes, but they’re Jewish ladies, and Mary needed midwives.” Anna interrupted. Rain sighed as she put them in the lego barn she made when she was twelve. “Ok. But I’ll probably use tan clay for all the other character’s complexions.” Rain said. “Anyway,” Abby said, “I made a Parol out of thrifted fabric .” Applejack pointed to a flower made from a tie dye bed sheet and inner petals made from pastel shirts in Pearl White, lavender, sky blue, butter yellow, creamsicle orange, and rosy pink. “Thanks.” Though it was only September, Rain hoped for a Green Day CD, a wonder bolts Jersey, and hopefully a chance to go out to dinner with her new girlfriend, Abby.
