Golden Memories

Summary:

A child named June visits Fazbear's Pizzaplex for the first time, and creates memories that lasts her a lifetime, and then some!

Notes:

Hey! It's been a long while since I've swept the dust off my AO3 account!

Ever since watching Markiplier play FNAF Security Breach, I was admittedly a bit unsatisfied with how everything ended. And how things weren't as in-depth as I would've liked to see. So I've been writing this in my head and decided to put it here!

Gregory isn't in this work, and Sundrop and Moondrop are actually more human-like! I'd like to think I've placed this BEFORE the events of Security Breach!

Please enjoy this!

Chapter 1: The Start of Something Special

Chapter Text

It was an exciting day for June. Everything in life was changing. Moving, meeting new people, trying to adjust...

But most importantly, it was her birthday. And her parents promised she was going to get a special birthday celebration at the most expensive, biggest place in the city. Fazbear's Entertainment Pizzaplex.

For a 9 year old, it was like nothing short of receiving a golden-ticket opportunity to go to such a place. Even if in reality, the complex secretly was gathering a series of horrid reviews slowly but surely. Not that it would concern June, though. For she considered herself the luckiest birthday girl on the planet.

"Mama, can I bring my friends?!" June asked with an eager tone.

"I'm sorry, June," Her mother apologized, glancing back at June through the car mirror. Frowning slightly as she saw June's disappointed look. "It costs so much money as is, and that's just for you alone. Maybe when your dad and I get more money on your next birthday, we can bring a few of your new friends along." She explained, trying to find middle ground with the young girl. To her relief, it did indeed seem to patch things up, as her daughter's eyes lit up with excitement.

"You mean it? Really!" The little girl exclaimed, clapping her hands together as her mother nodded.

June was nearing the brink of bursting with excitement at the notion of having more future birthday celebrations at the restaurant. Nearly unable to contain it, when her mother finally pulled up to the pizzeria. The neon sign above the complex flashing, the sounds of lasers, and music. It was by far the coolest place to be. And just as popular as ever, with rows and rows of cars filling the parking lot. Making it near-impossible to find a solid parking space.

"Stick close to me, alright?" June's mother spoke, getting out of the car to help June undo her seatbelt as the girl struggled to get it undone. Fumbling around and kicking her legs with anticipation.

"Easy now, June!" The woman hummed, helping June with the seatbelt as she nearly sprung out of the seat. Hopping out of the car quickly. Ready to rush straight into the pizzaplex. "I said stick close to me!" Her mother scolded lightheartedly, grabbing the girl's hand and pulling her back slightly. June apologizing softly as she skipped with her mother to the doors.

Upon entering, many sounds and smells overwhelmed June's senses quickly.

Pizza, popcorn, various snacks, music, and tech-like sound effects floated around the building. There were kids running around, parading around action figures of the animatronic mascots. Kids in masks modeled after the mascots as they waited on their parents. It was...Magical to June. Wanting to run around with the kids, wanting to ride on the stray kiddie rides sitting in places around the complex. She wanted to explore..

What stopped her though, was the grip that her mother had on her hand.

"Mama! I wanna play-!"

"You will just have to wait, I have to pay and get the tickets! You can't have a party without those, now can you?"

"No..." June huffed, impatiently complying as she stomped over to the line at the main counter with her mother, so that she could get her tickets and pass to the rest of the pizzaplex.

The man at the counter bore a semi-artificial looking grin, seeming to happily check in the two. And give them their tickets, and their pass, while June's mother fished out a wad of money from her purse. Paying the man at the counter.

"Now you two rockstars have fun! Especially you, birthday girl!" The man exclaimed, and June flashing a proud smile back as they finally walked to the main area.

The place was so large, that June's mother had no idea where to take her child first. When a robot rolled directly up to her, surprising her.

"Take this map." The robot's plain voice commanded, holding in its hand a map. Folded up to look like a brochure. June's mother looked down at June, and back up at the bot as she took the map out of its hand. The robot quickly rolling away.

"Interesting.." She thought to herself, looking at the map and unfolding it. Scanning for the main party area. Walking with her daughter as she made sure to follow the path exactly.

It didn't take long for her to find the atrium, mostly thanks to her daughter shouting and pointing rapidly at the various kids. Who were sitting at the rows of party tables, stuffing their faces with greasy pizza and (nothing short of VERY unhealthy looking) junk foods. Some even running about and playing arcade games. Emerging out of photo booths with silly pictures, and parents taking pictures of their unamused children.

But most importantly, there were a myriad of more kids clamoring to get near the main stage. In order to see what June's mother could only assume, would be the place where the animatronics were going to perform.

So lost in thought, the woman didn't even notice June had taken off into the atrium. Rushing to the stage. In a fit of mild panic, she took after June. Rushing to the the front row of the party tables, where June sat quickly. About to scold the girl when she stopped herself, June's mother couldn't really blame her. She was excited, it was new, and it was her 9th birthday.

Sitting down next to her child, she pat the girl's head. Relaxing a bit now that she felt she had June settled down in one place. "We should get some food for you! Order anything you want, Junie!" June's mother nodded her head towards the menu resting on the table. Watching her daughter pick it up quickly and scanning through it.

It only took June but a few minutes to find what she wanted before telling her mother. Who was waiting for someone to take their order. She wasn't particularly picky, whatever June ate, so did she.

A different robot this time, came rolling to the table, beeping. "State your order, please."

"Pizza! A big sized cheese pizza! And a fizzy faz! Oh- Oh- and an order of party pretzels with cheese!" June spoke rapidly at the robot, settling down quickly as a hand rested on her shoulder. Her mother...Wordlessly telling her to slow down. As if June's rapid-speech would overload the bot and ruin the order. "Um..Pretty please?" June smiled sheepishly as she squirmed. Hoping herself that she didn't ruin anything.

However, to both of their surprise, the bot understood everything. Speaking the order perfectly back.

When all was confirmed, the bot took June's mother's money and rolled off.

"This is already the best birthday EVER!"

"I'm so glad it is..After all, your father and I would do anything for my Junie."

"Yeah..! I sorta wish that dad wasn't working and could come.."

"Me too.."
