Shinichi had almost dozed off when he vaguely feels the murmurs from the thief clinging to him. He didn't quite hear or understand what was said, prompting him to blearily look at his boyfriend of a few years.
"What was that, Kai?"
Kaito grins at him before burying his face at the junction of the detective's neck and shoulder. The warm breath on his skin makes him shiver, subconsciously leading him to cuddle closer to the thief. "I said, I really like you, Metantei."
The detective chuckles, leaning back into the floor where his head meets a pillow that came out of nowhere. He smiled at the magician in thanks and beckons him to follow. "I like you too. Now, do you want to sleep or not?"
"Can we do more than sleeping?" Kaito asks, a wicked gleam playing on his eyes.
"Ask me later," Shinichi promptly closes his eyes as the magician snickers, but Kaito doesn't do any more than cuddle with his sleepy detective under the kotatsu.
