Shadow held the blue rose in his hand. He looked up at Sonic. He had no idea that Sonic felt that way. "Sonic, I appreciate you as a friend, and I love the gift, but I see you as a friend, nothing more and nothing less."
Sonic felt himself hold back his tears. "Oh, well, that's okay." He started to walk away. "See ya later, Shadz."
