Work Text:

Having a Kissing Booth as an attraction at the school's festival each year was tradition and, in general, Iwaizumi did not mind having it there – he simply ignored its existance. But when he found out the Volleyball team would be hosting it in his last year of High School, he was everything but impressed.

„You're just grumpy because no one would pay to kiss you, Iwa – chan.“ Oikawa laughed beside him as they made their way to their shift.

„Shut up, idiot.“ Iwaizumi rolled his eyes, pushing his hands deeper into the pockets of his light summer jacket.

It was warm, spring weather and they could both hear the Chicadas making their usual sounds in the bushes and behind trees. It was a normal summer day. Except that he would be spending it sitting on school grounds, watching other people be entertained by exciting stuff while waiting for others to support their team and earning a kiss in return.

There were different types of kisses. Usually, when people paid less than one hundred yen, they would get a peck on the cheek. Five hundred yen was a quick kiss on the lips and anything above one thousand yen was an open – mouthed kiss.

It was not like Iwaizumi had not been kissed before – believe, he had his fair share of experience but, he knew he would not be the star of the show today.

Oikawa was one of the most popular people in school and the girls, from first year to third years, adored the eighteen year old. Usually, Iwaizumi did not mind Oikawa having fangirls (or boys), getting presents, dating one here and there or simply just talking about how many confessions he had gotten.

But, today, Iwaizumi was not in the mood to watch his best friend kiss a bunch of people right in front of him. He wondered if other people felt the way he was feeling and, he almost could not explain why he was feeling this way. Except, he could.

He was the idiot in love with his best friend.

„Alright, we're here.“ Oikawa gave the team a big smile and put his bag behind the table they had set up.

„Oh wow!“ He said excitely, looking into the jar of money, „You made a lot already. I guess it's all because of Kunimi, isn't it?“

He winked and earned an eye roll from Iwaizumi, who just mumbled, „Let's just get this over with.“

֍

They were about an hour into their shift and in total it stood 34 – 7.

Just as expected, Iwaizumi thought.

Oikawa was popular, handsome and overall scarily charismatic – or at least, the persona he had for everyone to see was. Oikawa was charismatic and handsome, Iwaizumi could give him that but, he was also chaotic, a nerd and sometimes incredibly insecure – but, usually people did not know about that part of him. Oikawa was a proud man and he would probably rather die than show anyone his doubts and fears – except to Iwaizumi.

In the end, it was not as bad as he thought it would be though. Just seven people wanting a quick peck on the lips or cheek was hardly any work for him and whenever Oikawa had a customer, he simply looked away. He was glad the festival was quite load so, he did not have to hear any sounds the other pair was making.

„Don't be so gloomy about me getting more kisses, Iwa – chan.“ Oikawa laughed and Iwaizumi wanted to punch him. Honestly, how could he love such a petty douchebag.

„Shut the fuck up, Asskawa.“ Iwaizumi snapped and turned away. He was not jealous about Oikawa getting more kisses. He was jealous because the people that were kissing Oikawa were not him.

Oikawa just laughed before noticing the next customer, „Hello.“ He flashed a smile, „Would you like a kiss?“

„Y – Yes.“ The person stuttered. It made Iwaizumi look up again and see who was standing in front of the booth.

Kawamura Shunsuke. He was a third year and part of the photography club. They were in the same class in his first year but then got separated. They never really talked much but, Iwaizumi had seen the pictures he had taken and was very impressed.

And he had to admit, the boy was quite handsome. He had short dark hair and long lashes – from what Iwaizumi could see from his point of view. He was shorter than Iwaizumi and even shorter than Oikawa.

„That would be 100 yen for a peck on the cheek, 500 for the lips or anything over a thousand for an open mouthed kiss.“ Oikawa explained cheerfully.

„Okay!“ Kawamura nodded and fumbled with his wallet, taking out a thousand yen bill to put into the money jar.

Iwaizumi sighed inaudibly.

Great, he thought, another guy that gets to kiss this idiot while I drown in my own fucking misery.

But then Kawamura shook his head when Oikawa gestured him to the seat in front of him.

„I’m sorry Oikawa – san,“ he said and bowed apologetically, “but, I don't want a kiss from you.“

He turned to Iwaizumi's direction and gave him a small smile, „I want one from him.“

Iwaizumi's eyes widened slightly and he would lie if he would say he was not a little bit confused. For an hour, everything he had to do was a quick peck on the lips – if even – and now, this guy shows up wanting a full on kiss from him?

„Oh, alright.“ Iwaizumi nodded and waved his hand at the seat in front if him. He could feel Oikawa's eyes boring into his skull but, he ignored it like he did so often.

„Alright.“ He repeated when Kawamura was right in front of him. He leaned forward and before putting a hand on the boy, he slowly asked, „I'm going to kiss you now, okay?“

Kawamura nodded slowly and Iwaizumi could tell he was nervous. He placed his hand at the back of Kawamura's neck and leaned in, pulling the other closer to himself. Before brushing his lips over Kawamura's, he whispered, „Don't be nervous. Just relax.“

And then his lips touched Kawamura's, kissing him slowly at first. He put his hand on the side of Kawamura's face, startling him. He used the moment to  slip his tongue into Kawamura's mouth, deepening the kiss. He could hear the noise the people and other booths at the festival were making but, he did not miss the quiet moan Kawamura was making, breathing into the kiss as Iwaizumi pulled him closer.

The kiss was no longer than a minute and soon, Iwaizumi pulled away. His hands brushed over Kawamura's soft skin as he gently removed them.

„Thanks for supporting the team.“ Iwaizumi smiled at him, like nothing really happened. The kiss did not bother him, he was acting like his usual self and even though it was the first real kiss today, it was not the real first kiss of his life so, he did not seem to worried about it.

Kawamura on the other hand seemed to be in a different state of mind. His cheeks were flushed and his lips plumb from the kiss. He stumbled into a standing position and bowed, thanking Iwaizumi for the kiss before rushing off.

Iwaizumi sighed softly before glancing at Oikawa whose eyes were on him. Iwaizumi wondered if Oikawa had ever looked away.

„What?“ Iwaizumi frowned, raising his  eyebrow as he kept his eyes on the other boy.

„Nothing.“ Oikawa said and turned his head away from Iwaizumi. The wing spiker was confused, not being able to read what his best friend was thinking. But, before he could really think about it, another customer stood in front of their booth.

Asking for a kiss from Iwaizumi, putting in two thousand yen – meaning she paid for a open mouthed kiss lasting longer than usual.

He smiled at her just the same as he did with Kawamura. She was a second year and Iwaizumi had never seen her but, her dark hair was long and shiny and the glasses she wore hugged her face beautifully. She was very pretty, he thought.

She sat down in front of Iwaizumi as well and Iwaizumi waited patiently for her to be ready. He flashed her a soft smile, „What's your name?“

„Suzuki Chiyoko.“ She replied, fidgeting in her seat. She was nervous as well and Iwaizumi leaned forward.

„Alright Chiyoko – chan.“ He nodded and gently raised his hand, „I'm going to remove these, okay?“ – talking about the glasses.

„O – oh, sure.“ She stuttered and Iwaizumi gently took them off before taking a stand of her dark hair and tucking it behind her ear. She was blushing and a small smirk appeared on Iwaizumi's face before cupping her cheek and connecting his lips with her's.

The kiss was just as anti – climatic as the one with Kawamura but, Iwaizumi slowly licked over her bottom lip before slipped his tongue into her mouth, filling their kiss with a bit more passion than before.

Chiyoko was shier than even Kawamura but, Iwaizumi encouraged her by pulling her a bit closer and slowly even Chiyoko seemed to relax gently into the kiss.

It lasted longer than his kiss with Kawamura since Chiyoko paid more for her little adventure but, eventually Iwaizumi leaned back and broke their kiss.

Chiyoko's cheeks were red and her lips were still slightly parted. Iwaizumi smiled and gently put her glasses back on, careful not to hurt her in the process.

„Thank you for supporting the team.“ He said and looked after her when she had bowed and disappeared back into the crowd.

He flashed a glance to Oikawa who had his arms crossed, leaning back in his chair. He seemed to be annoyed with something. He had is usual pout face on but, Iwaizumi could not really place why.

Was he jealous that people wanted to kiss him, too? There was no way. Oikawa was petty but, not like this.

He opened his mouth to ask his best friend what was going on with him but, before he could say a word, he saw another customer approaching.

The two real kisses he had today were probably the only ones he would have, he thought. Two odd ones out, he believed. Except, they weren't.

The next person asked for a kiss from him, paying just as much as Chiyoko. And so did the next, and the next, and the next.

Until their shift was over, Iwaizumi had almost caught up to Oikawa with the amount of people he had to kiss today and his lips felt sore from having to kiss so many people. He would never ever participate in a Kissing Booth ever again, he promised himself.

„Alright, you guys can take over.“ Iwaizumi stretched his arms and cracked his back.

Mastukawa and Hanamaki would take the last shift of their day and close up the booth later, with the festival ending as well.

„So, what's the score?“ Makki grinned at Iwaizumi and Oikawa, who had been awfully quiet since more and more people had asked for a kiss from his beat friend.

„64 to 57.“ Iwaizumi said. He liked keeping track of things and almost beating the Oikawa Tooru was definitely a score he would never forget.

„For real?“ Mattsun said, „Damn, can't believe you almost beat our pretty boy.“

„Shut up, Mattsun.“ Oikawa groaned, breaking the silence between them for the first time in a while, „Iwa – chan just almost won because that shit Kawamura told everyone he was a good kisser or some shit.“

„Woah, sounds like someone’s in a bad mood.“ Mattsun said playfully and raised his eyebrow.

„I'm not!“ Oikawa exclaimed defensively, slinging his bag over his shoulder, „I'm leaving, see you never. Good luck with your shift.“

And then he turned on his heel, leaving the three boys alone at the booth. Iwaizumi was just as baffled as the other two.

„What was that about?“ Makki asked and Iwaizumi shrugged, „He's been like this since Kawamura showed up.“

He sighed and took his bag as well, „I'll see you guys tomorrow or something.“ He waved at them before running after Oikawa, who had already left school grounds.

„Oi, Oikawa!“ He yelled after the taller boy, catching up with him almost immediately.

„What's up with you?“ Iwaizumi asked, keeping up the pace with his best friend.

„Nothing's up.“ Oikawa just said.

„Alright, then don't tell me.“ Iwaizumi rolled his eyes before he continued on his way.

They stayed silent on their way home and seperated with a small Talk to you later. And you bet, Iwaizumi would talk to him later.

He entered his home and put his bag on the hanger. He called into the house, „I'm home!“

When no reply came, he went upstairs. His parents are probably still at the festival with his little sister and Iwaizumi did not mind having a bit of peace and quiet to himself. Except, he did not.

The spiker could not stop thinking about Oikawa's reaction or figure out why he was acting like he was.

A bit after eight, he grabbed his phone and keys and told his mother he would stop by Oikawa's for school related reasons. It was not out of the ordinary so she just told him to be home before midnight and left him on his way.

The way to Oikawa's house was a short one, crossing one street and walking a bit further before turning left to enter the house. He thanked Oikawa's father for letting him in and took his shoes off at the entrance.

„Please cheer him up.“ Oikawa's father sighed, „He's been in a foul mood ever since he came back from the festival. He didn't even touch his food.“

„I will.“ Iwaizumi nodded and bowed slightly, „Thank you, Oikawa – san.“

After that, he went upstairs and knocked on Oikawa's door. He heard noises from inside and an angry voice saying, „Dad, I told you I don't want – „

He opened the door and swallowed the last words he was going to say.

„Iwa – chan?“ Oikawa asked before crossing his arms over his chest, „What are you doing here?“

Iwaizumi rolled his eyes and brushed passed Oikawa into the room, „I'm checking up on you because that's what a good friend does. Not ignore you all evening and be sour about something.“

„I'm not sour about anything.“ Oikawa lied and both of them knew that he was telling anything but the truth. Behind him, he closes the door and leaned against it. His arms still crossed and eyes fixed on Iwaizumi.

The spiker groaned and shook his head, „Stop bullshitting me. We both know something's up.“

„Are you jealous because almost more people asked me for a kiss than you?“ He then asked after a few moments of silence.

„I’m not.“ Oikawa replied shortly and rolled his eyes, making his way to his bed and leaning against the headboard.

Iwaizumi turned to keep his eyes on him but, he stayed in a standing position. „Is it because – „

„Nothing's wrong, Iwa – chan. Just leave it be.“ Oikawa interrupted him, his voice louder than he intended it to be.

„Clearly something's wrong or you wouldn’t be acting like this.“

„Acting like what?“

„Like… like you're jealous.“ Iwaizumi said, earning a laugh from Oikawa, „Pff, I'm not – I’m not jealous. Why would I be jealous? Of who? You?“

„I don't fucking know!“ Iwaizumi snapped, „You've been like this since Kawamura asked me for a kiss. And then more people asked me than you.“

„That doesn't mean I'm jealous!“

„You're acting like it does!“ Iwaizumi groaned, „Maybe you’re just being like this because I am obviously a better kisser than you.“

„You are not!“ Oikawa gasped, jumping up to sit up straighter.

„How would you know? For all I know all the people after Kawamura paid more than a thousand yen.“ Iwaizumi challenged.

„Alright, I wouldn’t know!“ Oikawa rolled his eyes, „But how could I, you didn't kiss me!“

Iwaizumi's eyes widened. Did he hear that correctly? What?

„What?“

„Well, you didn't kiss me so, how would I know if you’re a good kisser or not?“ Oikawa started.

„Wait – „ Iwaizumi stuttered, „You want me to kiss you?“

„Prove you're a good kisser.“ Oikawa simply said, challenge burning in his eyes.

„Shut the fuck up, Oikawa.“ Iwaizumi cursed, trying to hide the blush creeping up his neck.

„So you're scared?“ Oikawa said playfully and raised his eyebrow.

„Fine!“ Iwaizumi snapped and sat down beside Oikawa, „You're such a brat.“

He noticed Oikawa's eyes widening and knew the other brunette had not been expecting him to actually follow through. But he would not back down from a challenge, especially when Oikawa looked so smug about it. He really was an idiot.

Oikawa leaned back and fell into the pillow behind him. Iwaizumi placed his hands on either side of Oikawa's head, hovering over him. Then he gently stroked over Oikawa's cheek before leaning down.

Right before connecting their lips, he whispered lowly, „Don't say I didn't warn you.“ And then his lips were on Oikawa’s.

This kiss was entirely different from all the others he had to have today. His stomach grew warmer and his insides seemed to flutter high in the air. His other hand slipped down Oikawa's waist, finding their rightful place on his hip. His thumb creeped its way under Oikawa’s shirt. The other boy gasped at the sudden touch and Iwaizumi used the momentum to slip his tongue into Oikawa's mouth, exploring it with passion and hunger.

All he ever wanted to do was to kiss Oikawa, to have him under him, to be able to touch him. Just like he did right now.

The kiss that was so innocent and soft at first turned into something entirely different. It  was passionate and deep and Iwaizumi could not breathe anymore. He felt like he was floating high in the air and he shuddered when he heard Oikawa's soft moan against his lips. His shirt had risen up, exposing Oikawa's fair skin. Oikawa was beautiful and he knew it.

Iwaizumi felt a hand on the back of his neck, pulling him closer. His knee was in between Oikawa's thighs and he gently pressed against the sensitive area. He heard Oikawa moan again against his lips, the grip in his hair growing tighter. They were both eager for more and the sounds Oikawa was making were beautiful in his ears but, it was also what brought him back to reality.

He broke the kiss and pulled back. He could see Oikawa's slightly parted lips and his brown eyes slowly opening. His hand was loose on Iwaizumi's neck now and slowly slipping down when Iwaizumi sat up straight, bringing in distance between them.

What the fuck had he done?

„We – we shouldn't have done that.“ Iwaizumi whispered and stumbled up, away from the bed. Away from Oikawa.

„Iwa -" Oikawa started but Iwaizumi shook his head.

„This – This was a bad idea. You – You don't want to kiss me because you want to. You just.. fuck.“ Iwaizumi stuttered, „You’re just competitive and – and wanted to win but, I can't deal with that.“

„Iwa – what, what do you mean?“ Oikawa was confused and Iwaizumi was desperate.

„Nothing… Let's just forget this ever happened.“ Iwaizumi said and went for the door, „I'll see you or… something.“

And then the door clicked and he was out of Oikawa's home.

Fuck, did he just confess to his best friend?

֍

The next day, he had texted Oikawa that he, Makki and Mattsun would go to the last day of the festival in the evening but, he still had not gotten a reply when he was on his way there.

Now he was walking beside Hanamaki and Matsukawa, waiting for his Teriyaki to cook through.

He sighed and finally said, „I kissed him.“

„Huh? You kissed lots of people yesterday." Mattsun laughed.

„No.“ He shook his head and thanked the girl behind the counter for his food. They found a seat under the tree, watching over the festival.

„I kissed Oikawa.“ He cleared up.

„I was wondering where he was.“ Makki nodded, „So?“

„He wanted me to prove that I was a good kisser because so many people in the end paid for a kiss from me.“ He explained.

„Such a player.“ Mattsun joked.

„Shut up.“ Iwaizumi chuckled and leaned back in into the grass, looking up into the sky.

„So what happened?“ Makki asked.

„You know, we kissed and things got a bit out of hand.“ Iwaizumi continued.

„I still don't understand the problem.“ Makki frowned.

„It's - it's because Oikawa wanted to kiss me because he wanted to win or prove something.“ He sighed, „Not because he actually wanted to kiss me.“

„And what about you?“ Mattsun asked slowly.

„I've been in love with Oikawa since we were kids, I think that's fairly obvious.“ Iwaizumi breathed in and closed his eyes.

„Yeah, I know.“ Mattsun nodded.

„So what did Oikawa say when you said that?“ Makki asked.

„Nothing really. I basically stormed out.“ Iwaizumi said.

„Wait a minute…“ Makki raised his eyebrow, „You're telling me you’re just assuming Oikawa didn't want to kiss you but did it just because he wanted to prove something?“

„Well if you say it like that…“ Iwaizumi started.

„No, you’re telling me he didn't even say anything?“

„Well…“ Iwaizumi nodded, „Yeah.“

„You are such an idiot.“ Makki laughed.

„Hey!“

„You can't just assume this, you big twat.“ Makki said, „I've seen the way Oikawa looks at you. You should just talk to him about it.“

„Yeah, maybe.“ Iwaizumu shrugged.

„No maybe.“ Mattsun shook his head, „Did you text him today?“

„I told him we were going to the festival but, he didn’t respond.“ He told them.

„Then text him or better,“ Mattsun said, „just go to his house. He's probably moping at home thinking you hate him or whatever.“

„I can't just show up at his house.“ Iwaizumi tried but earnes a slap on his shoulder from Makki, „You did exactly that yesterday, you twat. Now go!“

„What?“ Iwaizumi frowned and sat up, „Now?“

„Yes or I will tell Mattsun about that thing.“ He threatened.

„What thing?“ Mattsun asked.

„You wouldn't.“ Iwaizumi's eyes widened.

„I would if you don't go to Oikawa right now, confessing your undying love.“ He smirked.

„You are such a dick.“ Iwaizumi said but jumped up to his feet.

„The best.“ Makki nodded, „Now go!“

When Iwaizumi was out of sight, Matsukawa frowned, „What thing, Makki?“

„You already know.“

֍

Iwaizumi was practically running right now, on his way to Oikawa's house.

He felt like a part of a romantic movie, running after the guy he loved, trying to win his heart.

„I'm sorry, Iwaizumi – kun, Oikawa is at the gym I believe. At least his sports bag isn't here.“ Oikawa's mother told him with a soft smile.

„Thank you, Oikawa – san.“ He bowed and turned on his heel.

„Did something happen between you two?“ She then asked, making him stop.

„Yeah…“ he nodded, „But I'm on my way to fix it.“

„Good.“ She gave him a smile, „Just remember, Oikawa cares for you very much, even when he can be a bit stubborn at times.“

It made him laugh softly and he bowed, thanking her again before he was on his way to the gym.

He did not know where he took the courage or stamina to run to the gym. He was an athlete and not a small or weak guy but, at the pace he was running, he would have been exhausted were it any other day.

The door of the gym was wide open and Iwaizumi could hear the ball slamming against the clean ground.

Oikawa was standing on one side of the court, jumping high into the air and arching his back before using the momentum to lean foward, his flat palm hitting the ball in the exact right moment. It was quicker on the other side than Iwaizumi could move his head.

Oikawa was breathing intensely and Iwaizumi knew he had been here for a while, sweat clearly running down his neck.

The setter must have not noticed him yet because, he took another ball from the ground and repeated his movement.

The ball hit Iwaizumi's hand as he went in for a receive. It was strong and almost unstoppable but, this was not the first time Iwaizumi had practiced with Oikawa and not the first time he received one of his killer serves.

„Fucking hell.“ He cursed, rubbing his wrists. It still hurt no matter how many times he had received a ball this strong.

„Iwa – chan?“ Oikawa stopped, his eyes growing a bit wider, „What are you doing here?“

„I'm here to tell you that you shouldn't overwork yourself just because you’re upset.“ Iwaizumi said and leaned down under the net to the other side of the court.

„I'm fine.“ Oikawa said and turned to the side.

„And your mom told me to get your head out if your ass and talk to your best friend about your problems.“ He added.

„She didn't say that, you ass.“ Oikawa rolled his eyes.

„No, she didn't but, it's still the truth.“ Iwaizumi said before letting out a sigh.

„I'm sorry I kissed you.“ He started before shaking his head, „No, I'm - I'm not sorry I kissed you. I’v wanted to kiss you for forever so, I'm not sorry I kissed you – and you asked me to. But, I'm sorry you don't feel the same way. I'm sorry I put our friendship in jeopardy.“ He knew he was assuming again, the thing Mattsun and Makki told him not to do but, he could not risk assuming Oikawa feeling the same way either.

„Iwa – chan…“ Oikawa started but was interrupted again by Iwaizumi.

„No, let me speak because I'm only going to say this once.“ He continued and met Oikawa’s brown eyes, „I love you, Tooru and I will always love you but, you’re so much more important to me as my best friend than anything else and I would never risk that. I don't want to loose you and, if you want, I will never bring up my feelings again – I can manage being just your best friend but, I don't think I can manage living a life without you in it.“

He was finished and it felt like a weight was lifted from his shoulders that he had to carry for years. He was done. This was it. He admitted his feelings and now, there was no going back because Oikawa had heard every single word. His confession. Everything he was feeling. It was done.

But when Oikawa stayed silent, Iwaizumi’s shoulders sank and he nodded, „I guess that’s your answer.“ He said and made his way to the exit of the gym. He remained there for one more second, his hand quietly slapping against the doorframe. He shook his head and breathed in. And then he was out the door, on his way back home – or somewhere. Just, away from the gym and away from Oikawa. He had to accept the situation even though it felt like a million arrows pierced his hear – or like a truck had just run over him and backed up to do it all over again.

Fucking hell, he thought. How could one stupid Setter make him feel like this?

He ran his hand through his hair and shook his head again. He had to get over this. He had to, he –. He was not able to finish his thought when he heard heeavy footsteps behind him, the gravel crunching under someone’s feet. He turned around and Oikawa stopped in front of him, trying to catch his breath.

„Oikawa?“ He frowned, „I’m sorry, I just want to be alone –„

„Shut up!“ Oikawa yelled, his shoulders raised high. Iwaizumi closed his mouth and stayed silent.

„You confess your love to me and don’t even give me any time to react, you big idiot! What was I supposed to do? For all I knew, you didn’t even like me like that!“ Oikawa said loudly, his breathing heavy and chest rising up and down.

„I – „ Iwaizumi started but Oikawa took a step closer, „No, now you listen!“

„I wanted you to kiss me!“ He continued, „Not because I wanted to prove something or because I’m competetive but, because I wanted you to kiss me. Yes, I got jealous! So many people got to kiss you yesterday so why not me? Especially since it’s pretty obvious that – that you’re a phenomenal kisser.“

Iwaizumi remained silent. Now he knew it was the time to shut up and listen. So Oikawa went on.

„I wanted you to kiss me because I’ve loved you since we were children!“ Oikawa bit his lip, „And when you said, that I just wanted to kiss you because I was looking for a challenge, that fucking hurt, okay? And then you just left and I don’t know. I saw your message but, I felt like you felt obligated to text me. Fuck, I’m sorry.“

„You don’t have to apologize, Tooru.“ Iwaizumi finally spoke, taking a step closer. He noticed a few tears rolling down Oikawa’s cheeks. He gently brushed them away with his thumb, his fingers stroking over Oikawa’s soft skin, „No need to cry, okay?“

„Fuck.“ Oikawa cursed again, „Why are you so smooth, Iwa – chan? Who taught you this shit?“

Iwaizumi laughed softly, the blush on his cheeks clearly visible. „You okay?“ He asked softly and Oikawa nodded, „Yeah. Fuck, I think I just went through an emotional rollercoaster. Feels like I’m in a shitty romcom.“

Iwaizumi chuckled again and nodded, „Kinda does, doesn’t it?“

Oikawa took a deep breath in, the tears had stopped falling and he nodded, „Alright, I’m okay. I’m okay.“

„Good.“ Iwaizumi said soflty and removed his hands.

„I’m sorry for yelling at you.“ Oikawa mumbled apologetically.

„Fuck off.“ Iwaizumi shook his head with a smile, „I’m sorry for not letting you explain.“

„So what – what does this mean now?“ Oikawa asked.

„I guess I’ll suck your dick now.“ Iwaizumi joked and Oikawa rolled his eyes, punching the other against the arm, „God, Hajime, you’re such an idiot. Why am I in love with you?“

„I love you, too.“ Iwaizumi said softly and took a step closer cupping his cheek. The other’s eyes lit up and Iwaizumi leaned in, „So, you think I’m a phenomenal kisser?“ He smirked.

„As if you don’t know that.“ Oikawa rolled his eyes again and leaned in, finally pressing his lips against the other’s.
