With a single kiss Yechan felt butterflies in his stomach, but not just any butterflies, the blue ones. Feelings that could only be described as blue. Sensations like when seeing the blue midnight sky or the rushing of blue ocean waves. Sadness? Hope? Love? Longing? He felt it all when his lips met Sangyeop’s. It was like a moment of bliss. Any previous thoughts in his head all left as the new ones came rushing in, clouding his brain.
After what felt like a lifetime, Sangyeop pulled away; a sweet taste like blue raspberry lingered in his mouth. Yechan offered a timid smile, to which Sangyeop pulled him closer and gently spoke, “I’m really in love with you and I don’t know what to do about it.”
A bright blush spread across Yechan’s cheeks, a stark contrast to his jet black hair. “Why do anything about it when we can just live in the moment?” He managed to stutter out.
With a soft laugh, Sangyeop wrapped his arms around the other. Yechan melted into the warm embrace as the two swayed to the music heard from a café nearby. Everything seemed to slowly fade into the distance, all that mattered in this moment was Sangyeop and the feelings he gave Yechan; the blue butterflies.
