Chapter Text

Friday Evening:

"So Lucy," Booker said as he swirled a hair lock from the girl's long hair around his finger. "Is this the day I get to kiss you?"

Booker had since the start of his year 3 at uni worked very hard to get this far with Lucy, who had played very hard to get. Now, it was November and Booker was finally alone with Lucy or as much you can be in a hallway up against her dorm door.

"No," Lucy giggled. "I told you, that you have to wait until December, where there are mistletoes."

Booker suppressed the urge to groan out loud and was starting to wonder if he should find someone else, because he hated all the romantic Christmas crap.

Suddenly someone pushed Booker to the side and he was face to face with Lucy's new roommate.

"Move it, French baguette," The woman said. "Lucy, you know the rule about "men" in the room."

"Andy, please," Lucy said irritated over being interrupted.

"Rules are rules," Andy said. "Or should I find the rulebook?"

"Sorry," Lucy said. "Andy is studying to become a lawyer and is all about the rules."

"And laws," Andy added. "So, if you want to kiss her it will not be in our room."

Andy slammed the door after her.

"Charming being," Booker said as he returned his attention towards Lucy. "So, you're not even giving me a little sneak peek of the promised kiss?"

Suddenly Andy opened the door again.

"And please move your very badly attempt to seduce my roommate somewhere else," Andy said irritated. "Someone is trying to pass an exam."

Andy slammed the door once again.

"Talk to you tomorrow," Lucy said.

"We could go somewhere else," Booker suggested.

"Night," Lucy said. "Talk to you tomorrow."

Before Booker could say anything the door was once more slammed in front of him, so he decided to find a bar since the night still was young.
