Out of Place, Out of Time: Where Love is Found.

Summary:

Living with high functioning Autism and a generalized Anxiety about almost everything isn’t easy for 25 year old Amy Jackson. Ever since moving into her late grandpa’s apartment two years ago, she’s felt even more like an outsider.

Living with memories of the past and only having been a month since being uncovered from ice and S.H.I.E.L.D. letting him go to find his own place, 27 year old Steve Rogers feels like a man out of time.

The two meet one fateful day before beginning their journey of understanding one another, overcoming obstacles, and finding true love!

Chapter 1: ~Author’s notes and what to expect in this new story!~

Hey, readers!

WOW! It’s been a fat minute, hasn’t it? I’m sorry it’s been forever, but i truly lost my inspiration at the start of 2020. Then i found my a love in someone that i write about so much, only to lose it… Twice… So now i’m on a better path to love myself first and my muse has returned!! In the meantime, Steve Rogers has quickly become a favorite comfort character of mine. So we’re gonna let him share the stage for a while. I do have some notes though:

1. This is NOT a Reader-Insert like i usually do. I am going to try and write using a pre-determined character i have made for once. So please keep this is mind when reading ahead.

2. This character is loosely based on me, but i will still do my best to make sure i do Autism and Anxiety Disorder justice because i know it is different for everyone (and the fact that i have not been diagnosed with Autism yet, but have been told by my therapist i show lots of signs, and possibly am high functioning. If this will bother you, DO NOT read or comment!).

3. This takes place in 2012 and is a slight AU to the Avengers movies in the MCU. As such, other characters will eventually appear, but most events from said movies will differ slightly or not happen at all. We’ll see what happens!
