Chapter Text
The sun rose high into the sky, awakening the birds, reviving the flowers, and bringing a new day.
But specifically, bringing morning to the busy city of Musutafu, Japan. The City of Extraordinary Students, the city of U.A.-- Yuuei.
However, for one man, this day wasn’t as beautiful or fulfilling as I would like you to believe.
It was an average day. Just another bright day in Mustafu, Japan. And yet a sleepy Shouta Aizawa couldn’t help but feel apprehensive. The day felt too normal in his humble opinion. Like the calm before a storm.
You couldn’t blame him. Years in the military taught him to trust his gut, even if it felt irrational. Shouta felt tense, even though he had only just woken up from his restless slumber, he was just unable to relax and fall back asleep.
Not like he should, however. As a teacher of Ethics, Law, and Government, who taught at the prestigious school for the Talented and Gifted (overactive and arrogant brats, if you asked him) teens of Japan, Shouta couldn't afford to be late and set bad examples for the next generation.
And so with a groan of annoyance, Shouta threw the blankets off his body, cursing at the chill of the room. He quickly, and silently moved through his apartment, getting ready for the day and making himself a hot cup of coffee to tide him over to lunch. Bad habits die hard. Shouta snorted.
It wasn't long until a ruckus made itself known in the hallway outside of Shouta’s door. And he glared at the door, already accepting the inevitable.
It was with a shriek of excitement that Dumbass number one and Dumbass number two barged into his apartment and made their way into the kitchen. The purple-haired female instantly tried to tackle Shouta only to be thwarted by the blonde male who shoved her away to embrace the perpetually exhausted man.
“Yamada. Kayama. To what do I owe this… pleasure?” Aizawa grimaced.
“Awww common Shou! Don't be like that! We just wanted to say hello!!” With ever increasing volume, Yamada Hizashi clung tighter to the other male.
Aizawa scowled and pried the hands off him. “Hello, now leave.” Shouta turned away from the loud duo and washed out his coffee mug, a pounding headache making itself known.
“Well I’ll have you know, Shou-kun, that you agreed to drive to work with us today!” Nemuri called from the living room, where she had made herself at home.
Shouta stiffened as he remembered their night out that weekend where he did promise to dive to work with them.
“Fuck,” he mumbled, “Alright then, let's go before I regret it.” He glared, already making his way to the door after grabbing his satchel from the dining room table.
“Yo yo, Zawa! Wait up!” The two knuckleheads ran after Shouta arguing which of them got shotgun.
Children, both of them. And with a sigh, Shouta got into the car and waited for the two of them to get in.
Maybe today won’t be too bad.
[Oh, how wrong Shouta Aizawa turned out to be.]
In less than 6 hours, the three friends would find their world had ended. Blissfully unaware, the group made their way to school, unknowingly walking into a dangerous situation that would separate them for years to come. But this, my readers, is where the story starts. The story of love, adventure, and family.
They will have to do a lot to achieve their happiness and safety, but for now, they are at peace. Please, stay and witness their story unfold. And please do enjoy the ride. ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
