“I love you! I-I-I love you a lot! More than glitter glue a-and candy, it feels like a constant sugar rush in my system that goes on forEVER.. and ever.. and ever..!”
Sundrop spazzed out, shaking and overheating. His warm, metallic hands cupped your face, which was weirdly small in comparison. You could feel steam coming out of his endoskeleton, almost like he was heavily breathing.
“Sunny..” You mutter, at a loss for words. It felt kind of pathetic, but.. “I love you too.”
He was definitely overheating by then, and he was somehow panting, like he was relieved.
“Oh, Starlight..!” Somehow, he kissed you. It felt embarrassing, but kind of good. “Please, please, never ever ever ever EVER.. leave.. me.” His voice got more raspy towards the end of the sentence, like when he was trying to sound strict.
“I won’t.” You smile. “I’ll try to be with you as long as I can.”
“But.. it’s the end of your shift. You have to go home! I’ll be so, so alone..!”
“How about I stay here? Is five nights okay with you?”
“That.. sounds perfect, Starlight! Ohh, I can’t wait! What do couples usually do at night? W-We can draw, or play house like a family, or- ah!” Sundrop paused on his hyperactive, gushing tangent. “W-Wait.. it’s against the rules..” His voice faltered.
“It’s not against the rules if you aren’t caught!” You wink, and he still isn’t quite sure. “We can snuggle aaaalll night if you want!”
Suddenly, he pulls you into a tight hug, sweeping you off your feet. “Ahh, Moony and I can’t wait!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!” Sundrop screamed like a young girl with a crush. “Thank you....” His voice got deep and raspy again as he calmed down.. a little.
