Chapter Text
Tigress couldn’t help the smirk forming on her lips.
Shifu had just sent Crane (because he could fly) and Viper to investigate suspicious activity near a mountain area. Monkey and Mantis were out in a festival being held in the village.
After Crane and Viper left, Shifu announced that he would be going to the cave to meditate, leaving her and Po in charge of the palace. That also meant Tigress and Po were going to be alone, finally.
Normally she would train on a day like this but right now she just wanted to spend time with Po.
“Po, what do you see in me?” Tigress asked out of the blue. They were sitting in Po’s room, adjacent to each other, playing mahjong. Po was a bit taken aback but replied.
“Hmm, where to start?” Po said with a thinking expression. When he shifted his gaze from the ceiling to her, he grinned. “Everything from your striped face and fangs to your long, striped tail. But if I were truly honest…”
Tigress looked at him intrigued.
“I like it when you show dominance,” Po whispered with a slight smirk. He was a bit nervous, thinking she might hit him.
To say Tigress was shocked was an understatement. Her mouth hung open with wide eyes. But slowly a smirk formed on her lips.
“Would you believe me if I said,” she dropped her voice to a whisper, leaning towards him. “I like it when you quiver in fear in front of me.”
“I would,” Po smirked. “Such a sadist.” He added.
“Masochist.” Tigress retorted with a sinister smirk forming on her lips.
They stared at each other for a few seconds. Something ticked in Tigress upon hearing his revelation that he liked her dominant side. No sooner did Tigress let out a playful growl and lunged at him, joining their lips. Though he was caught off guard, Po managed to balance himself.
Slowly moving her paws down his arm, Tigress gently pushed him to the floor. She unsheathed her claws and lightly grazing them on his fur, moved them up towards his face.
Shivers ran through Po’s body as her claws moved. Tigress smiled in the kiss at his reaction. When his arms were free, he slowly brought them up to wrap them around her.
Tigress sheathed the claws of one paw and placed it on his cheek. The other, with claws out, moved towards his lips. With her clawed thumb, she tugged at his lower lip, along with using her fangs to lightly bite his lip.
Po moaned, sliding his tongue over her sharp teeth. He had always wanted to feel those. After a while, Tigress pushed his tongue back to run her rough tongue on his blunt teeth. At that moment Tigress was glad it was only her paws that were numb because it would have sucked to not feel any of this.
Running out of breath, they broke apart, panting. Po felt his lips getting swollen. Before she could go for another kiss, Po took his chance to flip them around.
“What happened to being dominated?” Tigress asked slyly.
“I changed my mind.”
“But I haven’t,” Tigress said as she flipped them again.
On top again, Tigress snarled at him.
“Please don’t kill me,” Po said jokingly. Tigress rolled her eyes at him.
“Then don’t mess with the alpha,” Tigress said in a taunting tone with a sadistic grin. She let a playful growl escape her throat.
“So hot.” Po squeaked. His eyes shifted to her twitching tail behind her. Tigress followed his gaze and smirked. After weaving her tail in his paw which was on her waist, she crashed into his lips again.
When Po stroked her tail with his blunt claws Tigress moaned against his lips. Po could feel her melt into the kiss. That’s when he quickly sat up and pinned her against the wall opposite.
“Hmph,” Tigress smirked, seemingly allowing him to do what he wanted to.
Po wasted no time in joining their lips again. He moved his paws to the bottom of her vest, trying to slip his paws under. But the vest was firmly tucked into her pants.
Noticing what he wanted to do, Tigress took his paw and guided it to the first clasp on her vest.
“No shortcuts.” She whispered with a sly glint in her eyes. Po narrowed his eyes at her, showing playful anger.
Her whiskers tickled his nose when he placed a kiss on her cheek, so he moved towards her neck. When he placed kisses down her neck, Tigress bit her lip and arched her neck to better expose it.
With his nose still buried in her fur, Po removed each of the clasps while moving his lips down her stomach. On removing the last clasp, he moved his palm from her stomach to her hips and up her back.
“So impatient.” Tigress huffed as she removed her arms from the vest and tossed it aside.
“I’ve always wanted to feel those muscles,” Po murmured, stroking the hard muscles on her shoulder and back.
Po sat on the floor to admire her body, now devoid of her vest.
Gazing at her white-furred underbelly, Po’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped. Among the smooth and straightened fur, there were multiple areas where the fur was messed up. But what caught his eye was the biggest mess of fur, which was star-shaped, positioned a little to the left of her chest. There was very little, coarse fur on the lines that emerged from its furless center.
“Are those…?” Po asked, his voice shaky.
Tigress followed his gaze.
“Scars.” She simply stated. When she had gotten the first scar that would not go away, she had fretted over it. But after many years of seeing those scars, she had gotten used to it and didn’t have the uncertainty or insecurity anymore.
“And that’s the one made by…” Po pointed a finger at the star-shaped scar. Of course, he had never seen it. Seeing it though brought back those terrible memories of her floating almost lifeless in the water.
“Shen’s…cannon,” Tigress said slowly as she noticed him moving towards the big scar.
When he placed a long, gentle kiss to the almost furless center, he felt Tigress taking a sharp breath.
“Sorry,” Po said, immediately moving away. “I should have asked. Does it hurt?”
“No, but it’s a bit… sensitive.” Tigress gazed into his green eyes. “It’s ok.” She nodded, giving him approval.
Po took his time placing gentle kisses along each of her scars. Since her back was not fully supported by the wall, he supported it with a paw on her back, moving it when he moved to another scar.
Tigress’s paws were wrapped around his shoulders. With each kiss, her claws came out, as her paws stretched, and then lightly folded which resulted in her claws lightly scratching his shoulder. Each kiss sent electricity throughout her body, her breathing becoming deep and shaky. It didn’t hurt, far from it. Now whenever she looked at those scars, rather than reminding her of how she had got them, she would be reminded of his kisses.
Suddenly her eyes widened when he kissed a scar on her collarbone. She quickly pushed him back.
“Ow.” Tigress squeaked, shutting her eyes, waiting for the stinging to go away. Though most of the wounds were fully healed, and they didn’t hurt anymore, the one on her collarbone was fresh.
“Sorry, sorry.”
“It’s ok. I forgot to tell you, that is a recent one.” She panted, pointing at the scar.
“When?” Po asked with concern.
“A few days ago when we were fighting those crocodile bandits. One of them managed to graze my shoulder with a sword.”
“Where was I?”
“You were there, busy with another bandit.” When Tigress saw him guiltily looking at her, she frowned.
“Don’t give me that shit, Po. We are both kung fu masters. Both of us chose this life. Injuries like these are unavoidable. Besides I am no damsel in distress.” Tigress said a little harshly.
“Of course, you’re not,” Po whispered, shaking his head and resting his forehead against hers. “You are the most independent, hardcore yet beautiful warrior I have ever seen.” Po kissed her nose and then smiled, gazing into her fiery eyes.
Tigress felt fuzzy upon hearing his words. After gazing into each other’s eyes for a few seconds, Po slowly joined their lips in a sweet kiss. Both of them melted into the kiss. This time it felt different. It felt passionate.
Tigress’s ear twitched; she heard something. Doors opening, maybe? But she chose to ignore it.
Taking the opportunity, Tigress pushed Po to the floor. She smirked slyly at him, her paws holding down his shoulders. With her legs straddling him, she lowered herself onto his chest.
“God, you are pure muscle,” Po whispered, stroking her muscled arms and shoulders. A smug smirk formed on Tigress’s face.
“And aren’t you a fluffy pillow?” Tigress said, sliding her paws up his stomach to his chest, her claws lightly digging into his thick, soft fur. She then nuzzled her face into his chest and neck.
Tigress's ear twitched again, not because Po had grabbed her tail but because she heard footsteps.
“Tigress? Po?” She heard Shifu calling. He seemed to be far away.
“Shit.” Tigress cursed under her breath, dragging out the word. “Po, Master Shifu is coming.” She whispered as she quickly got up and grabbed her vest.
“Po?” He was nearby, about to enter the barracks. Even Po could hear him now. There was no time for Tigress to leave the room.
“I will talk.” She mouthed, hastily closing the clasps on her vest. Po didn’t argue, he was already panicking.
Just when Tigress turned around to walk to the door, Po grabbed her arm. She looked at him with impatience. But soon realized why he had stopped her when he quickly closed the top clasp which had been left open in her haste. Giving him a quick smile and a pat on his shoulder, she opened the door.
Shifu was approaching the room when she opened the door.
“Ah. Tigress.” Shifu approached her with a smile that slowly turned into a frown. “Wait, why are you in Po’s room and where is Po?”
“Uh…we were…playing mahjong.” Tigress was thankful that her fur was dark or the blush creeping up on her face would be obvious.
Tigress stepped aside to reveal Po sitting with mahjong tiles in front of him. Po grinned and waved, trying his best to hide his nervousness. By some miracle, the tiles hadn’t moved much because of their…activity.
Though evidence was right in front of him, it was still hard to believe that Tigress was playing instead of training. Was she telling the truth? Shifu shook his head. Tigress never lied.
“Ok.” Shifu shifted his eyes from Po to Tigress. “I just got worried since I couldn’t find you guys.” Shifu narrowed his ever so slightly at Tigress. He couldn’t quite place his finger on it, but something felt odd. But he decided to shrug it off.
“I will be at the peach tree if you need me,” Shifu said and left the barracks. Tigress made sure that he left before closing the door and nodded at Po.
Both released a sigh of relief.
“We were this close to getting our butt kicked down the thousand steps,” Po said, touching his index finger and thumb with no gap between them.
“That was…disappointing, to say the least.”
“We could continue,” Po said mischievously. Tigress raised an eyebrow as if questioning his sanity.
“I am kidding.” Po snickered. “I like my arms and legs attached to my body.”
Tigress snickered while sitting next to him. She then sat on his lap and buried her head in his neck. When Po wrapped an arm around her, she closed her eyes and began chuffing.
Snickering, Po placed a kiss behind her ear. Her chuffs were always soothing to hear. Their “session” may be ruined but they still had each other.
Unbeknownst to the couple, a certain red panda had heard their conversation. Even though he had left the barracks, at the exit, his ear had twitched. He hadn’t bothered to go back, instead just listened from the exit. After all, he had sharp ears.
Their conversation was…suspicious. He was old but he wasn’t stupid. Why would he kick them down the stairs? For playing instead of training? Weren’t they exaggerating a bit? Shifu couldn’t tell. But after hearing their conversation and piecing it together with the oddness in Tigress’s behavior, he was sure of one thing though - Tigress had lied.
