The flame that surrounds her is still the most magnificent thing Hua has ever seen.
Brilliant and endless, bright but not blinding. Warm like a blanket in a freezing winter. The pure unadulterated emotions burning inside the girl bursting out with elegance yet ferocity.
Truly majestic and she was awfully proud to say that she was one of the people to stand beside her in front of an endless abyss full of mystery.
Yet, the phoenix didn’t fear entering the maw of darkness for she knew, her beloved would light a scorching inferno for her if she ever felt the phoenix getting apprehensive of the shade often christened as her past.
“Hua.”
Cerulean orbs peered into her own with a haze of drowsiness and overwhelming love. Lips curled into a small smile.
“You’re making that face again you know.”
“What time is it?”
“Hmm? Oh, its half past noon. I didn’t want to wake you up, you just looked so cute when you sleep.” Kiana says, mirth clearly oozing out her voice when her girlfriend’s cheek turned into a shade of red.
With a sudden realization, Hua blinked and bolted out of the bed. Running straight towards the bathroom to at least wash up and get ready to get scolded for being late on the training program day.
“Huuaaa~ Come back here!” A small whine from her girlfriend made the phoenix whip her head around to see Kiana leaning on the bed side with half lidded eyes, eyeing every movement she made.
“I am not tempted to get into a scuffle with Theresa for being late again, you must understand this Kiana.” Though her heart was throbbing with want, to just jump into the welcoming arms of her love she just couldn’t.
“But it’s saturday Hua~ being a bit late to train newbies wouldn’t hurt... much.” Kiana smirked with triumph when she saw the hesitant move of her girlfriend while buttoning her coat. The phoenix sighed and started walking into the outstretched arms.
Hua muffled a whine when she was further pushed into the albino’s chest, her ears tinted pink when she felt the firm softness of her chest and the rhythmic beats of the girl’s heart. She wasn’t going to lie about how much she wanted to just stay like this for the rest of their life.
“Getting comfortable now are we?” Kiana whispered into her ear while continuing her ministration on the rigid back of the phoenix with her hands, hitting all the pressure points which made the former guardian turn into a putty in her hands.
Hua on the other hand whimpered and held back a soft whine when those heavenly hands left her back.
“That would cost you a kiss, miss stiffness.” Kiana raised her hands in the air and rolled her eyes childishly when she saw the pout on Fu Hua’s face.
Fu Hua narrowed her eyes and smiled mischievously before pouncing on the younger woman, capturing her lips with a swift movement.
Bewildered by the bold action, the white head wounded her arms around her waist. Hua pulled away from the kiss almost unwillingly but seeing the scorching red face of the Kaslana made it hundred percent worth it.
“...cheater.”
“ Your cheater.”
A twinkly laugh filled the room and it is still the best thing the phoenix has ever heard.
