"Gods," Achilles hissed, "we REALLY have to fight SIXTY of these, Master?"
"More than that, unfortunately." you call back, bags of candy hanging from your arms.
The Rider thrusts his spear into the eyehole of a pumpkin knight, and watches its innards spatter onto the tatami mats on the withdraw. "Feh. Well, if it's materials at stake as usual, I s'pose it can't be helped."
Seeing that your Servant's work on this floor is done, you walk over to collect the spoils. "...More rocket ramunes. I know this isn't very exciting work, but thank you, Achilles."
"Well. If you're gonna be sweet on me for it, then it's no problem." He smiles in spite of the boredom of the task at hand. "But--wait, hey, Master! Don't eat that?"
"What?" You ask, just having popped a drill gummy in your mouth. "Why not? It's candy."
"It's an enemy drop!"
"The enemies are also edible," you point out. "They're pumpkins."
Achilles finds himself at a loss for a witty comeback, suddenly drained just a little further. "Aren't we going to exchange those for materials later, though...? And hey, aren’t YOU the one whinging and whining about how much farming we have to do for these anyway???”
"Don't worry, I won't eat too many. There's probably enough extra for you, too, if you want?"
You extend a drill gummy to him. If you're eating it, it can't be that bad, so he pops it into his mouth.
"...Let's go on up, Master."
"Oh. Didn't like it?"
"No, it was good. So let's go get some more."
You hum the affirmative and climb the staircase to the next room.
