I probably should've posted this first, but I completely forgot about it! Regardless, there is something about this cast you should know.
1. If you really want to get into Ace Attorney, I don't recommend reading this book. The reason being is that, there are a lot of spoilers covering all the games in the main line series and maybe some nods towards the manga. So, again, if you don't want to know anything about Ace Attorney, I don't recommend reading this. I will spoil it. The same goes for the Layton series as well. As for Danganronpa, not so much. There is some nods towards it, but nothing too major.
2. How do ages work? So, the big thing in Ace Attorney is that there is a huge time gap (I won't say where), and certain characters didn't appear after the gap which I think is frustrating. There are a lot of characters that need to come back! Anyway, so how are ages going to work?
Like this picture! Some characters will appear that are after the time skip with other before the skip will also appear.

Makoto, Kyoko: 14 = 17
Chihiro: 13 = 16
Owada: 19 = 21
Gum Chelmey: 40-43
Eddie, Kath, Aura: 32-33 = 35-36
2 Years
Apollo, Nahyuta, Clay, Emmy, Bucky, Hagakure : 20-21 = 22- 23
Athena, Junpier, Eustace, Wocky,: 17 -18 = 19-20
Kay, Vera: 16-17 = 18-19
Trucy, Pearl, Luke: 10 = 12 - 13
John: 9 - 10 = 10 -11
