Chapter Text
Hashirama, God of Forests and Fields
Hashirama was the god of forests and fields, and everything that grew and lived there, and was therefore patron of farmers and hunters.
He was described as an easygoing and cheerful god, if somewhat mischievous. His appearance was that of a man, big and strong like an ox, but covered in moss, with hart antlers on his head and eyes the color of new leaves. He carried a stick on his belt, which he used to bless people.
His favor was easily obtained and he was slow to anger, although when enraged he was said to be unstoppable and capable of leveling mountains.
His altars were constructed on tree stumps or built with cedar branches woven in a circular pattern, and his devouts offered the first armful of the first harvest and the hearts of anything they hunted.
