Work Text:
It was getting late. Narancia managed to convince Bruno to check into a hotel for the night. But he said they’d have to leave first thing in the morning.
Everyone was talking over one another trying to decide who would share a room with who as they walked up to the front desk to check in, Bruno desperately trying to talk to the receptionist over their arguing. And everyone started to get settled, almost full-speed running to their rooms as soon as they got their keys.
They had three rooms, so they decided Bruno and Abacchio would share a room, Giorno and Narancia would share a room, and lastly Mista and Fugo would share the third room. Much to Fugo’s dismay.
—————————————
There were two twin-sized beds in the room and Narancia collapsed onto his bed as soon as Giorno opened the door.
Giorno walked over to his bed and sat on the edge. His was by a window so at least he got a nice view.
“Man, this is fun!” Narancia finally broke the silence that had crept into the room.
“Hm?” Giorno turned around from the window, he looked a little caught off guard.
“Oh, yeah it’s nice.”
Narancia sat up and gave him his best ‘I’m onto you’ face.
Giorno had been acting strange for a while now. He’d been acting a lot more…serious than usual and Narancia was having none of it.
“Hey,” He said,
“Let’s play a game.”
“A game? Like what?”
“Hmm…” He pretended to think for a second but they both knew he had something specific in mind when he said it.
“I know! Let’s play ‘Ok, go!’”
“…What’s that?” Girono was a little suspicious, but willing to play along.
“It’s a game I made up,” Narancia seemed to brush off Giorno’s question a little too fast for comfort.
“Ok Ok! Close your eyes and count to ten!”
Giorno repositioned himself so he was sitting in the middle of the bed with his legs crossed.
He covered his eyes with his hands and started to count.
“1…2…3…” While he was counting Narancia started to sneak up on him. Creeping closer and closer trying his best not to make a sound.
“6…7…” Before Giorno even got to ten Nrancia yelled,
“Ok, go!!” And wrapped his hands around his waist. Knocking him onto his back with the force of the tackle.
“Hey, what are you- Aha!” Giorno’s question was suddenly cut off by the feeling of Narancia’s 10 fingers wiggling over his belly.
“Eheeheek! Nahahaha- n-naranciahaha!!”
Narancia didn’t answer. Instead he climbed onto Giorno’s bed, looming over him and continuing his playful assault.
“Whahahahat are yohou dohohohohoing!?”
“What?? This is the game!”
He was drawing light circles into his belly but Giorno reacted like he was dying.
“I play this game with Fugo when he’s all grumpy so I figured it’d work on you too,” Narancia admitted as his right hand travelled up his side.
Truth be told Giorno didn’t completely hate it. In fact it felt kinda nice.
“Ahahaha! Noahahahaha!!” He grabbed onto Narancia’s hands but he didn’t pull them away and his grip was loose.
“Just relax!” Narancia said with a smile.
Giorno took a few deep, shaky, giggle-filled breaths and did his best to relax.
He sunk into the mattress and his already loose grip slipped away and his arms fell to his sides.
Narancia slowed his fingers to only a gentle flutter, like a cat kneading its paws into something.
“Ahahahehehe,” Giorno’s previous frantic laughter melted into a stream of giggles. The kind you could hold in if you really wanted to, but he didn’t even try.
“See? Isn’t that beeetter?” Narancia teased in a sing-songy voice.
He tapped and poked around his friend’s sides and Giorno arched his back with a squeak.
“Eheep! Nahaha!”
He brought his hands up to his chest, trying his hardest not to get in the way.
Narancia spidered up and down his sides over and over again, picking up speed each time he went up.
“Eeeahahahaa!!” Giorno shook his head and squealed.
“I told you it would work!” Narancia said smugly.
He started to hum and switched back to poking his belly. Finding it funny the way Giorno’s arched back just collapsed back into the bed.
He played a little game for a while of making him arch as far as he could and then attacking his belly just to watch it fall back again for a while until Giorno grabbed onto his arms again, this time not as loosely.
“N-nahaha! Naharanciaha, ihit’s time to- eek! It’s tihime to stohoahap!”
“Oh-!” Narancia really hadn’t been paying attention to how much time had passed, he was having too much fun.
He slowed his hands to a stop and sat back as Giorno melted into the bed catching his breath.
“That was fun!” Narancia beamed.
“It wasn’t too bad,” Giorno responded in between his heavy breathing.
“We should play again sometime soon!”
Giorno sat up, his hair disheveled and messy.
He smiled warmly at his friend.
“Yeah, we should.”
