Thor became a better fighter on Midgard. He hurls his sword at the Hulk’s knee.
The blade drives deep. Dark ichor oozes from the wound. The Hulk reaches for Thor with giant green fingers. Thor ducks and hurls a fistful of sand at the creature's eyes.
Loki used that move on Thor all the time when they were children.
The Hulk screams loud enough to shake the foundations of this coliseum.
"I'm sorry, buddy!" Thor says to the creature.
"What a strange little Asgardian," the Grandmaster says. He has one hand on Loki's gauntlet, his lapis-tipped nail running its runes.
"Strange indeed," Loki replies.
