"Sir, you have been in the lab for over 15 hours. May I suggest taking a break?" JARVIS's voice filled Tony's lab over the sound of power tools and music. Tony canceled his robot's movements with the wave of his hand, giving a slight nod to the AI. He sighed, wiping the back of his hand over his forehead. Fluorescent lights shone on the white walls and tile, making everything blurry. He ran his hands over his eyes, trying to focus on particular objects around the lab, blinking hard.
"JARVIS, what time is it?"
"6:28 pm, sir." Tony looked towards the door, standing up and making his way towards the small window, looking out the small window at the empty hallway, dim lights shinning barely through the tinted glass. He walked to the door, a cold breeze hitting his face when it slid open. Tony let out a sigh, feeling a bit better than before, and began into the small hallway towards the elevator, which seemed farther than usual. He felt his eyes drooping, stopping in the at moments to stop the spinning around him; finally, he made it to the elevator, hitting the small yellow button and stepping into the box. He stood there for a moment, gathering his thought, remembering where he was, and pressing the lounge.
"Who's in the tower now?"
"Only Mr. Rogers is in the building." Tony rolled his eyes; of course, Steve was the only one in the building, cant let Tony live in peace. Letting out a long dramatic sigh, he let his headrest on the cold metallic wall of the elevator. It would take a while until he reached the lounge. The elevator was the thing that bothered him, never fast enough. He watched the button light turn off, the sound of closing. His eyes closed as the jump of the elevator began to move, swaying slightly. Tony opened his eyes after a minute, looking back at the buttons, two more floors.
"Where is everyone else?"
"Apologies, sir, but they told me not to tell you." Tony scoffed at this, feeling a small churn in his stomach. He looked up at the ceiling, tumbling a bit when the elevator came to an abrupt stop. The doors opened, allowing him to leave finally. He walked into the lounge, noticing Steve on the couch, writing in a small book.
"Hey, Capsicle!" Steve turned to look at Tony from the doorway, his eyebrow-raising before standing up and heading towards the shorter of the two.
"I was just about to come and get you. Make sure you didn't die." Steve smiled; Tony groaned and rolled, trying to squeeze past Steve to get to the bar. Steve grabbed his arm, slowly edging him away from it and into the living room.
"What are you doing?" Tony asked, trying to break free from the soldier's grip.
"You shouldn't don't have alcohol, especially after not eating for over 8 hours," Steve said firmly. Tony tried breaking free again, only to be pushed onto the couch, a squawk escaping him. He growled at the small chuckle Steve let out, feeling the cushion sink under him when Steve sat down.
"Besides, Everyone should be coming back now."
"Wha-" Tony was cut off by the bell sounding off at the main entrance, Clint and Bruce entering with canned sodas and a bag of junk food, Thor following with his arms full of groceries, and Natasha holding two bags of Chinese. The group hadn't noticed the two on the couch yet, continuing their conversation.
"Have you all figured it out yet?" Steve called from the couch. Natasha turned away from the group, placing the Chinese on the coffee table.
"We decided on Star Wars, given that not everyone has seen all the movies." She smiled, throwing the two plastic bags to the sides; the rest of the team came into the lounge area shortly after, each carrying two drinks, one for them and one for the other three not present in the kitchen.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on!" Tony looked between his teammates, embarrassed that no one was telling him anything.
"What? Never heard of family movie night?" Clint teased. Tony looked at him, his eyes wide with confusion, causing everyone to laugh at this. They all sat down, Bruce taking place on the small chair next to the couch, Thor and Natasha taking the floor, and Clint sitting next to Steve.
"Stark, you have been kept in that room of yours all day, so we decided you would like to view a movie with us," Thor said, putting Mjölnir next to him.
"Why?" Everyone paused, looking at each other for an answer. Bruce finally spoke up, looking Tony in the eyes.
"Why not? You're our friend?" Bruce responded, shrugging at the look Tony gave him. Everyone else seemed satisfied by the answer as they grabbed a drink and a box each, Steve handing Tony his pack of rice and chicken. Tony's mouth watered at the scent, not realizing how hungry he indeed was after not eating all day.
"Plus, you need a break, so we went to the store and got groceries to last us a week," Natasha noted, grabbing the remote from the side of the couch and beginning to search for the movie. Tony looked at each of them, his heart no longer racing from confusion. Natasha asked JARVIS to dim the lights when she finally found what she was looking for, waiting for everyone to get settled, pressing play.

Tony woke up, eyes trying to adjust to the dim lights. He slowly got his focus back, noticing the other Avengers asleep around him, each sleeping in their strange way. He looked out the window, dim lights from the street and buildings below, with the faint light blue sky over the horizon. Tony registered the food boxes on him, moving them off his lap and rolling his neck to remove the pain.
"JARVIS, what time is it?" He whispered, eyeing the other Avengers, not wanting to wake them up. JARVIS seemed to get the message as a small hologram popped up from the TV, showing 5:14 am. He closed his eyes, focusing on the sound of everybody's slow breathing. He didn't know why it was relieving to hear everyone just breathing. Maybe it was from the stress caused by Loki's Scepter being missing and trying to find it almost every day, and perhaps it was just his paranoia about everything, but this was the calmest he had been in nearly weeks.
He leaned over into Steve's shoulder, shifting into a comfortable position and allowing himself to fall asleep once again.
