"No, I meant it! This is very important for the people, Yoongi. They want it, they want it so they can appreciate their King this way so you will realise that they don't think you are ruthless"
The King of Goguryeo sighed staring at his friend who has been blabbering about his upcoming birthday. Yoongi haven't celebrated his birthday since he was twelve, he never wanted it but now when the people of his Kingdom requests to celebrate it.... he cannot deny it.
"Hobi, I said I agreed why are you keep saying that?" Yoongi grumbled.
"Because there is a chance that you can change your mind and I don't want that" Hobi replied and laughed "This should be celebrated in grand, with dancers, a big feast, all of our people"
"No Kings and whores" The King muttered.
"Exactly, that's why the dancers are from my village alright? They are no whores in our land. And yes, no other Kings just our people"
"I am not disagreeing but the celebration is pretty.... risky" Yoongi started getting a grumble from his Omega brother.
"Yoongi-ah let's just be happy," Seokjin said holding his little brother "We can make sure about the border, we can thicken the security and it's just the people from the town and the nearest village is coming here."
The blonde King sighed and nodded earning happy noises from Seokjin and Hobi. Two little kids ran towards them, two of them sat on Yoongi's lap getting comfortable on their uncle. Yoongi held the little boy and girl in his arms and kissed their heads. He ran his hand over the blonde girl's hair.
"Your hair isn't growing at all" Yoongi muttered.
"It's fine" The little girl whined seeking comfort in the Alpha's scent "I have the prettiest hair"
"You sure does," Yoongi said running his hand along with the blonde hair "You got my hair after all"
"We are the same!" the little girl squealed hugging her favourite uncle as she buried her face on his neck breathing the strong scent, the Alpha boy walked to Hobi and hold his hand swinging it a bit.
"Yes, she got your hair and it's annoying just like when you were a pup" Seokjin said making Yoongi grumble and the kids laugh "It's got knot too easily and it's hard to comb it"
"Well, it's your job as a parent" Yoongi shrugged earning a slap on his back. He flinched a little bit when Hayeon traced her finger over the scar on his eye. He looked at his brother and asked "Would you all stay here for a week?"
"We will, Yoongi," Jin said smiling warmly at his brother "Namjoon will go back before us though"
Yoongi nodded still running his hand on the blonde hair of his niece. The family is currently sitting on the veranda of the garden watching the melted snow at their palace as they discussed the King's upcoming twenty-seventh birthday celebration. His brother Kim Seokjin and family just came and has been blabbering about the celebration. Being the Luna of Baekje Jin he cannot stay away from his Kingdom too long but it's his brother and he can take risks.
"And maybe you could find a potential mate in the gathering?" Seokjin suggested making the King groan in annoyance.
"Hyung, I have told you many times" Yoongi looked at his brother with seriousness "I am not going to mate, I am going to give the Kingdom to Kwan after I die"
Two of the adult wolves rolled their eyes as Yoongi looked at the Alpha pup who was still holding Hobi. Seokjin and Namjoon's first pup, an Alpha, Kim Kwan, the next in line of Baekje. Yoongi doesn't want a mate, he doesn't want to drag anyone in his mess. Since he and Namjoon rule Silla with their Kingdoms the whole Hanguk will eventually go to Kwan.
"My son is not going to rule the whole Hanguk, I won't allow," Jin said showing his palm to Yoongi as a promise "Kwan and Hyeon, go play. Appa needs to scold your uncle"
The pups laughed as they ran away, the King tried to escape but was seated by his older brother. The Beta of Goguryeo immediately escaped from the garden leaving the two brothers. Yoongi got the scold he always get, even though he looks annoyed he enjoys his brother's words because he loves them, he groans when Jin twisted his pale ear.
Later that day the King had lunch with his family, Hyeon was still sitting beside Yoongi who fed her. She was only four and she couldn't eat meat properly, kimchi rice is her favourite and the King ordered the cook to make a lot of it. Being the only girl from both families she has been spoiled a lot by everyone even from her seven-year-old brother who adores her. Yoongi is the one who spoils her most, all she has to do is to pout at him.
"Namjoon, did you get any complaints from Silla?"
"No Hyung, I think the new wolves are satisfied in there. There was a talk that they might be starting to crop a field" The King of Baekje replied.
Yoongi only nodded and kept feeding his niece and himself.
"Where is Jungkook?" Seokjin asked looking around the hall. "Haven't seen him for a while"
"He must be wandering around, the young wolf has been talking bout the lavender field on the hills," Namjoon said.
After lunch, Yoongi suspiciously watched his Hyung and his best friend talking very quietly. He narrowed his eyes at them as they were moving to the corner of the hall. 'They must be planning something' he thought making him grumble, but he ignored them and walked to his chamber for writing some letters and documents.
The King of Goguryeo's bedroom is his office, he works and sleeps there. The maids always debated themselves to remake the chamber but the King looks at them annoyedly for bringing up the idea. Still, the maids always suggest and he denies it.
From the view of the castle in Goguryeo, it is clear that there are no Omega lives here. It's been years since Seokjin has moved to Baekje after his marriage since that day the castle looks gloomy and dark. An Omega's essence is powerful that even building blooms, so the only Omega in the Goguryeo castle took the blossoms with him. But the castle in Baekje though bloomed like numerous flowers in a garden. The Kim family has been full with Alphas, the King, Luna their two sons all of them had been Alphas so the castle itself was Alpha- ish. And with the arrival of Seokjin, the whole castle turned welcoming and beautiful.
And here in the corner of the dining hall Seokjin and Hoseoke was still discussing the upcoming event. Both of them are excited, they are not excited just because of Yoongi's birthday though.
"Oh goddess, if you keep talking about him I will be too impatient to meet him," Jin said dramatically placing his hand on his chest.
"You will be eager after you meet him, Hyung," Hoseoke said laughing "He would be great to be a Luna, but most importantly he would be perfect for our Yoongi. The boy knows pain and struggle, and of course, he wants someone to protect him and if that protector is a strong one then he would be happy. Also, Yoongi needs someone who can melt his heart, my boy can do that"
"How do we bring the subject to him though? The boy just wants to dance and earn money, we cannot just go and ask him if he is willing to be courted by Yoongi" Seokjin said and sighed "And I am not sure if Yoongi would agree, I have never seen his pupils widening by seeing an Omega."
"Hyung, your little brother hasn't seen anyone who makes his pupil wide yet that's why. And our Omega is just.... what can I say? This Omega is too adorable and if Yoongi doesn't react it means he is heartless"
"Don't call my brother heartless, Hoseok" Jin twisted his ear earning a groan from the Beta "You better be right, I don't care if the boy has a bad intention. If our Yoongi like him then I also like him"
"He is not bad Hyung, trust me. He is the polite and kind person in our village, his parents died when he and his twin brother was just twelve and they had been lonely since then"
"Just like us?" Jin whispered
"Yes" Hoseoke softly smiled at his Hyung "Just like both of you, he knows the value of time, food, love and money, and that's what a Luna needs. And that's what you have" Hobi rubbed Jin's arm in a comforting way.
Jin smiled and nodded hugging his little brother who is from another mother. He sees Hoseoke like his own brother who has been taking care of Yoongi since he married off. He must be a Beta but he is stronger and has a sharp mind.
"I want to see the Omega" Seokjin whined making Hobi chuckle.
"On the celebration day, Hyung"

March is the end of winter, the beginning of Spring and the birthday of King of Goguryeo. It's the ninth of march and everyone in the kingdom is pretty excited. Their King hasn't celebrated his birthday since he was twelve and it was when their former Alpha and Luna died in the war.
The people of Goguryeo knows the story about what happened fifteen years ago. When they were attacked from the North (which is always a threat to them) the Alpha and the Luna died trying to save their pups. In the attack, a sword with wolfsbane paste was slashed over the Alpha prince's right eye. The King and soldiers from Baekje came to the rescue, the King who was best friends with the King of Goguryeo mourned the loss with the pups.
The people were safe after they won but again there was a problem. The ministries and members of royals took advantage of the situation, they started to talk with the young princes and tried to manipulate them. The former Alpha was an only child so as he doesn't have any siblings there is no one to take the throne until the Alpha pup turns into age. The ministries tried their best to manipulate but Do-hun, the King of Baekje stayed with the pups and told them to deny anything the ministries say.
Seokjin being the oldest has to take care of the palace, Kingdom and the position of his brother. But being an Omega he needed protection from his brother. Yoongi always has been protective of his brother and it never changed, he sternly told the ministries to stay away from them especially his brother. Yoongi have noticed the eyes of those men on his brother, his brother is a beautiful wolf and anyone would love to keep him and the pup hated Alphas around him. Seokjin was in his fifteenth age not even in the age of ripened for an average Omega yet these ministries tried their best to be close with him.
Yoongi's first kill happened to be the ministries and the royal members. It was when Dohun has gone back to his own Kingdom and Yoongi has to go to the training ground, to Seokjin's luck his brother came earlier than he always was. Yoongi stood there shocked at his horrible view, he had a bad feeling throughout the training and he immediately goes home towards his brother's room. He couldn't scent anyone just his scared Omega brother.
Six men have held down the crying Omega on his bed, half of his clothes has been ripped, one Alpha is kneeling in between his bare legs. Someone is underneath him and the others are around him, touching and squeezing him. In their lust and enjoyment, they didn't notice the angry Alpha pup taking his sword. Yoongi cuts the head of the Alpha who was hovering over the Omega, the pup didn't care about anything as he killed all of them, he chopped their limbs and heads one by one and they couldn't react to the sudden action.
By the end of his anger, both brothers were bathed in the blood of the cruel men, the twelve-year-old pup pressed his trembling brother against him trying to soothe him in his scent as he released his pheromones and warmth. He hated to see his beautiful brother covered in filthy blood, he told Jin to bathe. Seokjin's maid was knocked out by the men behind the wardrobe, Yoongi helped her and looked out for the other workers in the palace. The soldiers were outside and the few workers were locked in a room, the ministries had used scent blockers so nobody could get a whiff.
When Do-hun came back hearing the news he immediately prepare for the coronation of Yoongi. No one should get an idea that Goguryeo is an easy target because they don't have a King. If Yoongi can protect his brother from six horny Alphas then he can protect a Kingdom. At the age of twelve Min Yoongi officially became the King of Goguryeo and the part King of Silla with Kim Do-hun.
Yoongi knew how much his brother loves the elder prince of Baekje, he was seventeen when Kim Namjoon asked him for Seokjin's hand. The young King agreed without any hesitation, he knows Namjoon, he is like a little brother and he will take care of his Hyung. They have trained together in the borders and always has been great friends, Yoongi is fond of the younger prince too, Jeongguk managed to steal everyone's hearts. But Namjoon was too young to marry, he was only sixteen and Seokjin was twenty. So Do-hun and his Luna told the eager pup to wait until he is at least eighteen. Do-hun and his mate always want to leave the Kingdom after the coronation of the next King and they would be happy to make Seokjin the Luna.
Namjoon was nineteen when he married Jin, and Yoongi soon became an uncle which he wasn't ready for. He used to curse at Namjoon for knocking up his brother, he was just too protective but when he was handed the little Alpha pup in his arms he wanted more nephews and nieces. When Yoongi became an uncle for the second time, he was happier because the little Omega girl has his silky blonde hair and the parents let him name her. He named his little niece after their mother, Hyeon. Yoongi and his niece got the belated Luna's hair after all.
Now the family has settled down and is happy, the Kingdom only want a Luna, the citizens know their King. The cold-looking heartless Alpha gave no mercy to a sinner and gives severe punishments but they also know that their King never hesitates to help them in need. They know how their King feels lonely, they know how kind their King is and they also know how a mess he is.
That is why the people of the Kingdom is full of joy when their requests were granted. They want to celebrate their mighty King's birthday and let him know how grateful they are for him. They have cooked and baked food for him, practices performances and prepared gifts for him. Yoongi knows about it too and he is happy, he is happy that he is doing his job to protect his people the right way.
The celebration was grand he hadn't felt this happy for a while, even the little pups in his Kingdom has their little dance performance. Paintings, silverware, weapons, fruits, flowers and many gifts were placed on the King's seat outside. The stone path out of the palace is where the feast is held and they have arranged shelter above everyone. It was a happy day but the main events are in the night, Hoseok and Jin couldn't wait for the last performance.
"Ah Yoongi hyung, the dancers from my villager's performance is at the end. I am sure you are going to love it" Hoseoke stated sitting beside Yoongi as they watched a wrestling game.
"I will love every performance," Yoongi said smiling as he sipped his soju, he is in a very good mood
"The main dancer is pretty popular in our village actually," Hoseok said making eye contact with Jin who winked at him "The Omega has nice dancing skills"
"Oh great, they must be happy to perform here," Yoongi said
"Of course he is, that is his work anyway. To dance and dancing for the King's birthday would be an honour"
Yoongi nodded watching the game, he didn't notice his brother and best friend communicate through actions and with their eyes. He applauds along with the audience as the game was finished.
"This is the last event, you will be surprised Hyung," Hoseooke said to both Yoongi and Jin.
Seokjin is the most excited one here, he just can't wait to see the Omega who is described as the most adorable angel. He wonders how an angel going to handle his demon brother but the opposite attracts so maybe it is possible.
The dance performance was held in the middle, in between the people and the royals. They saw Omegas and Betas standing in their positions covering their face with silver Korean fans. Everyone looked awed at the way the young wolves were standing and waiting for the music to start.
"Buchaechum on birthday celebration?" Yoongi asked Hoseok who rolled his eyes.
"Just watch"
The music starts, the dancers started to move and now everyone notices the differently clothed dancer in the middle. He has a red big fan in his hand which completely covered his face, he has a long black silk coat opened in the front showing the white clothes underneath it. The dance started but the main dancer still covered his face as he moved along with the others. When the beat of the music dropped he closed the fan moving it away from his face.
For the first time Seokjin saw his brother's pupils widening with interest, he is shocked at the view of the beautiful Omega. Everyone around them was awed at the sight, even the royal pups who muttered 'pretty'. He was very pleasing for the eyes and Hoseok tried not to laugh at the King.
The King of Goguryeo couldn't explain himself, his hands are tightened on the armrest, his heart is beating too fast and his wolf wants to claim the Omega who is flawlessly dancing in front of him. It wasn't Buchaechum, it was a mix of other new dance forms and the Omega's flexibility is not a joke. Yoongi is confused as to what to stare at, to stare at his face or his body is the question because both are pleasing for the eyes.
Yoongi's inner wolf is begging him to approach the Omega who is delicately moving his body with the music. The King's chest suppressed a growl when he made eye contact with the Omega who stumbled a little but managed to dance again. Yoongi tried his best to look away, he is trying but it was so hard to even blink. He hold Hobi's shoulder who leaned towards him.
"The Omega with the red fan is Park Jimin, twenty-three years old. Has a twin brother also an Omega. They live alone and make money by dancing and painting"
Yoongi almost snapped his neck as he looked at Hoseok who smiled innocently at him. The Alpha raised an eyebrow but the Beta was still smiling.
"Why don't you watch the full performance, Yoongi-ah?" Seokjin suggested turning his head towards the dancing.
Yoongi's heart is beating too loud and the Omega sweating isn't helping him at all. Jimin's neck and the front part of his white clothes have wet due to sweating from the dancing. His dark silver hair shines with the light around him, the movement of the fan along his hand is beautiful.
The King has never felt something like this before, is this what desire is called? He would love to claim the Omega but it is so wrong, he knows Alpha instincts but this is very new to him. His inner wolf has never acted like this before and it's making him frustrated, the Omega sure is beautiful and that's it he is beautiful outside yet he is willing to claim him.
As Yoongi battled with himself Seokjin and Hoseok were very happy to see the positive reaction on Yoongi. Namjoon and Jungkook were confused but they played along with Jin joining in his happiness.
The dance ended with applause Min Yoongi didn't hesitate to applause louder, he watched the alluring little Omega walking to the other side with the rest of his group. The King just realised he hasn't watched the whole performance, he didn't hear half of the music either all he concentrated on was Park Jimin and the way his body moves.
"Hoseoke"
The Beta immediately leaned against the King asking for what he needed.
"Prepare a personal chamber for Park Jimin"
Seokjin and Hoseoke was indeed shocked but happy to hear it.
"He can't be alone without his twin brother" The Beta replied
"Let the two of them stay" Yoongi ordered and Hobi bowed his head smiling.
Seokjin was happy, he was emotional because finally, his little brother is not acting as a stone. He is attracted to the Omega and maybe just maybe this can work. And it's Jin's time, he needs to talk to the Omega tomorrow.
