Halloween, what a wonderful holiday and the day Izuku finds out his quirk. Inko was walking with a five year old Izuku and Katsuki going door to door. Katsuki was dressed has a vampire and Izuku had chose to dress up has a luchador since he found the sport online and fell in love with the sport.
So far the two friends were talking about what Izuku's quirk could be.
"We tried every combination of your parents quirks how come none worked" Katsuki said frustrated.
"My doctor said it could be a quirk mutation so my quirk may be completely different" Izuku said.
Inko smiled at the two friends has they entered their preschool for the Halloween party the school is hosting. Once the three were inside the boys ran to their classmates while Inko talked with the other parents.
"Hey Bakugou hey Deku" some greeted.
"Stop calling me Deku already" Izuku said.
"It's fitting for a quirkless freak" said one of them.
"For the last time I have a quirk but we can't figure out what it is" Izuku explained.
"Yeah and when we figure out his quirk it will be awesome" Bakugou said.
"Yeah right I bet he is just lying" one kid with stretchy fingers said before shoving Izuku.
"Back off chicken fingers" Bakugou said punching him.
Soon the two were fighting while Izuku tried to separate them before three others jumped in to beat up Bakugou. The adults began to separate the children when one of the girls tried to jump Bakugou from behind. Izuku remember what advice Bakugou gave him about fighting.
*Flashback*
"Remember to always hit you opponent like a ton of bricks" Bakugou said.
*Flashback over*
Izuku threw a punch repeating the advice over and over again, time seemed to slow down has Izuku's arm stretched has his fist turned into a brick. Once he hit the student everyone stared in shock.
"I GOT MY QUIRK" Izuku yelled ignoring the girl he knocked out.
The next few days went by fast and not just because he was grounded for punching that girl. But he ran some test with his quirk at his doctor's office and learned more about his quirk. Apparently his quirk required him to wear a mask to activate. After the week of grounding Izuku began to study luchador wrestling has much has he can.
*Years Later*
It was the last year of junior high and things were looking great for Izuku and Katsuki. One major change is that Izuku always embraced the spirit of masked wrestling and always wore a mask. Both had an amazing shot at getting into UA since the both had the best grades in their school but even did some community service by cleaning up a illegal dumping site at the beach.
Izuku was currently on his way home when he heard some shouting. He looked down the alley and saw a girl with long orange hair and a guy with a very thick tail. He also saw 20 thugs armed with pipes, bats and knifes.
"You two are going to give us all your money and you girl can give us all a turn on you" the leader said.
"I suggest you thugs leave them alone" Izuku said stepping forward.
"And who are you suppose to be?" one thug questioned.
Before Izuku could answer the two he came to help kick two of the thugs into the others. When the others turned to them Izuku rushed in and grabbed one of them and used her like a bat. The three quickly disposed of the entire gang.
"Thanks for the help my names Kendo Itsuka and this is my boyfriend Mashirao Ojiro" the girl now named Kendo said.
"Nice to meet you both my name is Midoriya Izuku" he said.
"Are you a vigilantly or something?" Ojiro asked.
"Nope I am a luchador and soon a hero in training" he explained.
"Same here we are applying to UA what about you?" Ojiro asked.
"I am and so is my friend, I hope we end up in the same class" Izuku said before the three exchanges numbers before going their separate ways.
*Timeskip to the entrance exam*
Izuku looked around the testing site only to see complete strangers. His thoughts were interrupted by a blue haired guy.
"You take that mask off UA has a clear policy about not wearing any facial covering aside from glasses" he said chopping the air.
"I refuse to take off my mask for a few reasons 1. I am dedicated to masked wrestling and 2. My quirk requires a mask for me to use it and here is a slip from Nedzu giving me permission to wear it" he said before the gates began to open.
Izuku ran in while everyone was confused, it was time to try his super moves.
"PULVERIZING PINBALL" with that his body morphed into a ball and bounce between a few bots destroying them gaining 12 points.
*With the UA staff*
"Such promising candidates this year" All Might said.
"Yes but we all know that people reveal their true colors in dire situations so get ready to release the zero pointers" Nedzu said.
"Why is that one kid wearing a luchador mask?" Vlad King asked.
"His name is Izuku Midoriya and it is required for his quirk to work" Aizawa said has he looked over the boy's file.
*Back with Izuku*
"CINDER SLAM" he yelled turning his fist into a bunch of bricks while smashing two one-pointers.
"Ok that's 50 points now then-" before he could finish his sentence a giant robot began rampaging.
Before he could run he heard a cry for help and saw a girl with brown hair trapped under some rubble. He ran and quickly freed her and carried her back to the entrance. Once he got her to safety he ran back in ignoring the calls of people trying to stop him. After jumping onto some buildings he made it up to the head of the zero-pointer before jumping at it.
"HAMMER OF HEROISM" he yelled, his body transformed into a hammer and repeatedly smashed into the zero-pointer.
The machine slowed down but didn't stop, cursing under his breath and prepared another attack.
"CYCLONE OF SUBMISSION" he called out has he spun around seemingly turning into a tornado.
The zero-pointer was pulled in and the students watched in shock has parts of the bot fell out harmlessly. After a minute the tornado stopped and Izuku walked to the exit while Present Mic announced the exam was over. After he got healed thanks to Recovery girl he made his way home with Bakugou, Kendou and Ojiro to wait for the results.
