Chapter Text
Phil, Techno, Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo lived together in a house in the woods. Sure, there was civilization on the other side of the forest, but for the most part, the family was alone together. Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy were all Phil’s children, and Tubbo was found and adopted when him and Tommy were about 3 or 4.
The five of them lived a simple life in the woods for a while. Techno ran away when he was about 10, but that’s a story for another day.
With three biological children, Phil thought that at least one of them would have inherited his wings. But one of them was missing and could be dead for all he knows, another had gotten it a bit but had no chance of his wings ever being big enough to fly, and the youngest was showing no signs of wing development. Phil wasn’t that upset by this though. He loved his sons and they were happy, and that’s all that mattered.
Several years later, he ended running into his eldest son in the Nether, and he was all grown up at that point. Phil was of course relieved to see that his son somehow didn’t die to the many dangers of the Nether, and the two of them chatted for a while, and caught up.
They began bonding again, but it was less like father and son this time, they mostly saw each other as old friends. Phil saw that Techno didn’t have any wing development either, but Phil didn’t care. None of his children really had wings but he was okay with that, having fully grown wings and being able to fly is pretty rare anyways.
A few years later, Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo moved to this place called the Dream SMP. Wilbur sent back letters of what it was like there, and Phil heard that Techno ended up going there as well. Phil decided that he should go there too, and well… you all know how that went.
Now onto the actual story…
