Work Text:
“Cut! Thank you everyone for your hard works!”
“Thank you, Director Kwang!”
Jake sat on the chair, sighing and closing his eyes, unconcerned about the cosmetic artist removing his makeup. Today was the most exhausting day of his life because they finally concluded the last scene of the shoot, forcing him to almost nod off.
nearly. He was fortunate to hear his manager's voice approaching him. "Jake! Riki's calling you!" His face lit up as he heard who was calling him. Riki, his best friend and younger brother-like figure and a well-known model due to his top-tier charm during modeling or photo shoots.
People were terrified of him and felt frightened by his charisma when they first encountered Ni-ki. Jake would be lying if he said he wasn't terrified by Ni-ki when they first met, but as they became closer, Jake began to treat him like a younger brother.
His manager gave him his phone as Jake answered the call with his lips curved upwards. “Yes, Riki?”
“Hyung! thankgod, you finally answered,”
His eyebrows narrowed. “why? did something happened?”
"No, not really, but my brother recently bought a space monitor and said we could play there as well, hyung! Our favorite game is there! Our favorite game! " Jake chuckled as he sensed Riki's excitement on the other end of the phone call.
His older sibling... If I'm not mistaken, I believe his name is Heeseung . Riki mentions his older brother, who is a police officer and is so strict that Riki is not permitted to sleep late. When Jake heard it, he assumed Riki's older brother would be attractive.
Is he going to be taller than Riki? Jake was particularly excited to meet Riki's older brother. In his thoughts, questions began to arise: what would his personality be like? Is he going to be as fun as his younger brother?
I wonder what his older brother looks like? Will he look like my idea–
“I also texted manager kim the address so everything’s good, be fast okay?”
Jake smiled. “Okay.”
Jake knew the inside of the house was much more stunning the moment he viewed it from the outside, and he was right. Riki began to show off various aspects of the house. Everything was neat and well-organized. Jake's mind relaxes after seeing it.
Just how rich is Riki's brother?
A tall figure was in the kitchen when Jake went to get a drink, but all he could see was the figure's back because the person was putting something in the fridge. This must be the brother of Riki.
"Oh, hello—" Jake's words were cut off by the loud thud of the fridge closing. Heeseung turned around to see a blond-haired man, who he assumed was Riki's friend. He went away after giving him a blank expression.
Jake's lips became a narrow line. Riki's older brother did not greet him with a grin; instead, he received a blank stare. "Excuse me, but you should learn to respect your guest," he remarked, but Riki's brother disregarded him and went to his room.
What the fuck is his problem? His brow furrowed, and he clenched his jaw. That surprised him, but it could be related to Heeseung's personality. With one look from Heeseung, all of his excitement vanished. Disappointing .
“Jake hyung, everything’s prepared now!”
“Okay!”
Heeseung muttered, "Fuck—why did I do that?" and rubbed his irritated face. He was already stressed out from work, which put him in a terrible attitude, but that doesn't mean he should pass it on to others. Which he has just done.
“I’ll apologize.. I hope he’ll forgive me,”
So Heeseung waited for the two best friends to finish till the blond guy announced that he was going home now. He walked to the door as soon as he heard his younger brother say "bye" and saw Jake going to open it.
Jake went outside and shut the door, leaving him speechless. "Oh..perhaps another time... yeah, another time."
This is probably how Jake felt when I ignored him . He sighed.
Days passed, but Heeseung was unable to properly apologize since Jake would simply walk away when he was about to speak. He tried his hardest to apologize and patiently wait for the blond to accept his apology, but his patience was wearing thin these days as Riki's best friend ignored him.
When Heeseung returned home the next day, he found Riki and his best friend playing. The blond-haired man was happy and concentrating on the game. Because he's in a nice mood today, I should apologize.
Heeseung departed to his room after placing food in the fridge he bought, and the two best friends walked to the kitchen, looking for something to eat after spending hours playing games.
"Oh, there's chocolate," he said as he opened the cupboard. We should to—"
"That... we can't eat that since it's my brother's chocolate," Riki replied, and then Jake had an idea. He smirked a little and gave out a tiny chuckle.
"I see.. then how about this?" Jake grabbed the potato chips bag and showed it to Riki. The little brother's smile brightened.
“Yes! We should eat that,”
They kept playing until it was late, which made Heeseung worry about his younger brother. When he looked at the clock, it was already past midnight.
He entered the living room, still seeing his two best buddies seated in front of the screen. After the K.O displayed on the screen. He touched his younger brother’s shoulder, "Riki, you have a photo shoot today, you should sleep now,"
The abrupt voice caused the two best friends to turn their heads. "Oh–wait, oh yeah!" Riki sprang up, panicked, and looked pleadingly at Jake. "Can we still play tomorrow, Hyung?"
Who could deny that? "Of course," Jake said, giving him a warm smile.
"You should sleep now, and I'll take care of this since I also need to talk to Jake," Heeseung patted Riki's head as his younger brother titled his head, one eyebrow lifted, but soon he nodded and went to his room.
"Okay, Jake. I’m here to apologize—is that my chocolates?" Heeseung grabbed the crumpled cover of the chocolate, then turned his head to Jake and saw him smiling across his face.
The tension in the living room increased when stillness fell upon them, with their eyes locked on each other, one with a burning fury and the other with a triumphant expression. Heeseung's fist clenched, crumpling the chocolate wrapper even more, but only for a fraction of a second.
"Why are you so mad about that? It's just a chocolate,"
He sighed and exhaled a relaxing breath. "Was that fun, hm? It's not just the chocolate, Jake. I keep apologizing to you, and you keep ignoring me and now doing this?" He chuckled darkly, fingers tracing in his hair, staring down at Jake who was sitting. "Won’t accept my apologies for what?"
"Because of what you did, it's your fault," Jake crossed his arms while looking up, his brow arched, gaze fixed on Heeseung as if in an eye contact competition.
“I’ve been apologizing for that, it’s your fault for always ignoring me,” Heeseung said. “see? Aren’t i correct,”
“No, you’re not,”
Can’t accept it huh.
Little did they know, Riki was listening to them through the door of his room.
After Jake received a message from his manager, they both stopped playing. "Riki, I need some help," he murmured, still peering down at his phone, his brows furrowed and his bottom lip biting.
“Hm? What is it? " Riki moved closer to Jake to examine the messages, and while he was doing so, he chewed the potato chips.
"My manager wants me to audition for a rolo, but I'm not sure which one, and then she suggested a police role would fit—" Riki's eyes widened as he heard the term "police," leading him to cut off Jake's comments.
“Yes! get that role ‘cause that’s perfect for you!”
“Really?”
“Yes, I'm sure of it.”
"All right then," Jake's smile curved upwards, and his chest warmed as he heard Riki's remarks. Jake, knowing how much he cares about his profession, will go to great lengths to succeed. Everyone admires him because he knows how to do his job well.
“Hmm.. that means you need help from my brother,”
Heeseung heard it soon as he entered the living room. "What does Jake need?" ”
“Heeseung hyung, you came at the right time!” Riki exclaimed, walking to his older brother. “Jake’s manager suggested a police role for him and i think that you could help Jake to pass the audition,”
Hmm..getting a role is hard—oh.ohh..
Jake was convinced he spotted Heeseung grinning, as if he was plotting something. He immediately looked at Riki, “I can just find so–”
“Alright,” Heeseung agreed.
As a result, Riki left the two in the living room to discuss the things they'd need to do. The room was silent, except for the cool breeze from the air conditioner brushing across their skin and the soundtrack of the game playing.
“When are you free?” Heeseung said, breaking the silence as he looked at Jake.
Anyway, there's nothing I can do. Jake, a dedicated actor, will go to any length to land his job, and here he is, attempting to lower his pride for his role. There's nothing he can do if he truly wants the character.
"I don't have much to do this month, so I'm good," Jake sighed, running his fingers through his hair and avoiding looking at Heeseung.
"Okay, then we’ll start tomorrow and we’ll talk about the other things. You’ll be coming to my workplace so you know what it looks like, and I'll also teach you how to use guns and other things, alright?"
“Okay,”
Heeseung stood up sluggishly and turned to his back before walking towards his room, saying. "Your number," he said as he took his phone from his pocket.
“What?” Jake’s brows brought together, still wondering why the hell he would say that.
“Don’t I need it? So i can message you about these things?”
“Oh yeah–right,”
People strolled by, welcoming Heeseung and looking curiously at the person alongside the Chief. Jake wore a thin fit black turtle neck t-shirt with a long sleeve that showed his body outline, black trousers that were neither too tight nor too loose, just properly fitted to his legs, formal black shoes, and a black mask while Heeseung, as always, wore his uniform.
“Chief! " Jay called out as he approached them, holding a clipboard. Heeseung extended his hand as Jay handed him the clipboard containing documentation, while Jake stared at the guy who had called Heeseung. What a handsome man . He had a pointed jaw that seemed to draw people, as well as the right side corner of his lips curving upwards as he spoke.
Heeseung opened the clipboard, checking the paperworks one by one. “Jay, how’s the report going?” He asked.
"About that," Jay said, raising one eyebrow and turning his head at the blond-haired man. Because of the familiarity of his eyes, he's certain he saw this guy somewhere before, and finally, Jay guessed who it was. "Aren't you Jake Sim?"
Jake responded by nodding and putting his hands in his trouser pockets.
"It’s alright, you can tell since he’s here to learn things like this,"
Jay's eyes widened and he exclaimed, "Oh, really?" "Must be for the acting purposes..i see," he chuckled before patting Jake on the shoulder. "Well, good luck, my friend." "I hope you'll make it," Jay said as he walked into his office.
Heeseung continued to walk before looking at Jake and said, "Now, for today. We can just start walking around and observing,"
“That’s it?” Jake halted, looking at Heeseung with his eyebrows knitted together.
Heeseung came to a halt, raised his brows, crossed his arms, and looked at the blond-haired guy with a 'are you serious?' expression. “Why? You want to start immediately?”
“Yes,”
Heeseung let out a little chuckle before glaring at him. "I'm not going to let that happen. We should start from the beginning. Stop being impatient." He then resumed his stroll, leaving Jake behind.
Jake furrowed his eyebrows. “You–”
“Chief! " Another attractive man approached them. Everyone here appears to be attractive . The man approaching them had thick brows and pointed jaws, his proportions were good, and he radiated a cold atmosphere.
“Yes?”
"It's about that again," Sunghoon replied, gesturing to Heeseung's office, indicating that the subject should be discussed there.
“Oh then..” Heeseung turned his head to look at Jake.
Jake rolled his eyes, crossed his arms, and made a poker face at Heesung. He scoffed, "I have legs and sight, I can walk my own Heeseung."
"Alright, nobody's stopping you," Heeseung sighed defeatively as he motioned for Sunghoon to come to the office, leaving Jake behind.
After the two police officers entered Heeseung’s office, Sunghoon said. “Is that your boyfriend? Is that the reason you’re too soft for that guy? When I was still new, you would get so strict and whatsoever,” while sitting down on the chairs in front of Heeseung’s table.
“He’s my younger brother’s best friend, not my boyfriend and i’m treating him like that for a reason,”
“Oh? For what reason?”
“Just annoying him—” Heeseung shrugged and then held out his hand. “--the file?”
“Oh, here,”
While the two cops were discussing the problem, Heeseung's phone rang in the middle of their conversation. When he saw the caller's identity and realized it was him, his brows furrowed.
Holding his phone beside his ear and saying, “Jake, what is it?”
“Uh–i think i’m lost,”
“Don’t you have eyes and legs? You can find it on your own,” Heeseung said as he hung up the phone, but he received another call with the same name caller, and he couldn't help but giggled.
“Heeseung, i swear i’ll blame you if i don’t get home,”
Jake hated stating he was lost, especially because he had declared a while earlier that he has legs and eyes, but there's nothing he can do since if he attempts to walk or find a path, he might get even more lost, so in the end, he needed Heeseung because he knows this location very well.
“What’s the magic word?” Heeseung asked, making Jake even more pissed.
"Fuck you—please," Jake whispered quietly, and Heeseung swore he heard another curse word whispering on the other end of the phone line. He wanted to tease him some more, but Heeseung decided that was enough when he said the word 'please.'
“Stay there. i’ll find you,”
"It's best if you stay here with me; otherwise, you'll get lost again—" Heeseung sighed. "But weren't there people? Why didn't you ask for help? " he questioned, sitting back on the backrest and placing his arms on the armrest cushion, his brow furrowed.
"It'll be a hassle if they see me," Jake shrugged, looking around the office, and before he could touch the photo pasted to the wooden board, he heard Heeseung remark, "Don't touch that,"
Heeseung lifted his head to look at Jake. “You’re right and stop touching my things,” then looked back down at the paperworks.
Heeseung took a peek at Jake as he sat silently and unintentionally pouted. I guess he can be cute sometimes.
“I’ll finish this quickly,”
he smiled sheepishly and hummed as an answer.
After completing the papers, they continued to stroll about while Heeseung explained the fundamentals of law enforcement, and Jake listened carefully, noting everything Heeseung said in his phone note.
“I should get you home now—-” Heeseung looked at his watch.”---are you going to play with my brother again?”
Jake shook his head. “No,”
“Okay, then let’s get you home,” Heeseung said, bringing out his key car but stopped when he heard what Jake said.
“I can just call my manager,” Jake told him without making eye contact as he picked up his phone and called his manager.
“Take care then,“ Heeseung stated before entering the police station.
They were at the indoor shooting range, and Jake was there for the first time. Heeseung had remarked that even if the pistol was a fake and everything was a ruse, it was still better to know how to do it properly, and he was correct, so here they were. Isn't it cooler if you know how to utilize it properly?
“Here, this is a pistol. It’s not yet loaded so don’t worry ‘bout that, ” Heeseung handed him a pistol. “I’ll help you on how to hold it properly,”
Jake took a swallow. It was his first time firing a real gun at a target, and he was both afraid and excited. He took the pistol and examined it.
“We’ll be using the two-handed hold since it’s more stable.” Heeseung grabbed the pistol and instructed, “Wrap your weak hand around your fingers on your strong hands, like this,” Heeseung showed the example for Jake but it seems his ‘student’ was still confused.
Heeseung wanted to chuckle because of Jake's expression, with his head tilted to the side and his brows moving. "Like this?" " Jake looked at him, his eyes widening and his brows drawn together. He looks like a lost puppy.
"No, not like that," Heeseung said as he approached Jake from behind. "May I?" " He asked, motioning with his hand to see whether it was okay to touch his hand, and Jake nodded in answer. Heeseung gripped the weapon while adjusting his hand to its proper position.
Jake swore he could feel Heeseung's breath tickling his neck, but he managed to remain calm.
“Make sure to grip it,” Heeseung gripped their hands together. “Like this tight,” and then he pulled out his hand, moving away from Jake. “Place your thumb on your weak hand or beside your thumb on your strong hand so that it is roughly parallel to the barrel of the handgun,”
“Like this?”
“Yes, like that and make sure you are steady, alright?”
“Alright,”
“You look like you want to try shooting now,” Heeseung chuckled. “Do you want to try?”Jake nodded.
The police officer walked towards him as he loaded the gun. “Once, you hear ‘cease fire.” stop and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot, do you understand?”
“Yes,”
“Good–oh, and don’t forget what I've instructed earlier,” Heeseung said as he placed the electronic earplugs on Jake's ear.
Jake positioned himself by wrapping his fingers around the strong hand Heeseung had constructed and then held it, focussing on the target before shooting at the human target board. The shot was taken in the sixth or seventh circle. It was at the circle's center, and he did fantastic for a first-timer.
Jake then proceeded to shoot until he heard the cease-fire, at which point he paused and removed the electronic earplugs. Jake heard Heeseung's claps, congratulating him and saying, "you did a great job," and a smile formed on his lips.
“Can I try once again?”
“Sure. Why not,”
They kept seeing each other after that. Fortunately, some progress has been made in their situation. The more Jake accepted his own mistakes, the more Heeseung forgot his plan. Everything was going great, despite the fact that Heeseung got more meticulous, even with minor details, and he never failed to acknowledge Jake's efforts.
Jake had seen everything in Heeseung, whether at work or at home. Maybe he's not all that horrible. Because Heeseng would clap and compliment him on even the smallest of things he did after giving Jake a harsh command. Thankfully, Jake finally listens to him and puts aside his arrogant attitude, which Heesueng notices.
“I think you should practice more to be steadier, I could see your hands shaking before shooting,” Heeseung grabbed their things.
Jake nodded. “How can I be steadier?”
"Take a few deep breaths before concentrating, but you did amazing today as well; you've come a long way," Heeseung congratulated him, a kind smile on his face.
“Thankyou,”
They then got into the car and drove to Heeseung's place since Riki wanted to see Jake. It's been a while since the two best friends have seen each other because they're both exhausted from work.
However, they both saw Riki wasn't still in the house, so they decided to eat something while they waited for Riki.
“You eat ramyeon?” When Heeseung opened the fridge, Jake noticed a lot of ramyeon.
“Yes, you?”
“I eat that too especially when I'm tired,”
Heeseung laughed as he grabbed a ramyeon. “Me too, i also eat it during late night time,”
"Me either!" " Jake exclaimed. Knowing someone has similar tastes to yours was quite exciting. "How come I've never seen you eat it before?" ”
“Maybe you were too busy playing games,” Heeseung stated while putting the ramyeon into the boiling water.
“That’s true,” Jake admitted with a small chuckle.
The doorbell rang. Heeseung came through the door, opening it to find his younger brother staring at him suspiciously. "How was your time with Jake, Hyung?" " He asked after entering and closed the door.
“It’s doing great and.. you seem very happy about it, hm?”
Riki coughed, and before Heeseung could open his lips to speak to him again, he dashed off towards Jake, who was busy cooking the ramyeon Heeseung had made. Heeseung shook his head and moved towards them, leaving him deep in thought, wondering why his little brother was acting suspiciously.
“Jake hyung, can I eat with you two also?” Riki asked, already seated.
“Sure,”
Heeseung stood beside Jake and said, “You can sit down, i’ll handle this,”
“It’s fine, I want to help you anyway,” Jake responded.
“Honestly, you two look like a married couple,”
Silence ascended on them, and something they weren't expecting to hear prompted them to freeze. The 'married couple' turned to face Riki. He was grinning while looking at them both as the two scrunched their nose.
“No, thank you,” Jake said while shaking his head. “Would rather marry another person,”
“Oh really? Am I not good enough to be your husband?”
“Wha–no!”
Heeseung stepped back, hands on his chest, giving out a fake gasp and a "ouch," but he got further away when Jake smacked his chest. Heeseung yelped, letting out a true gasp, clearly offended by Jake's actions.
“Hey! You hurt my feelings and now my chest, how cruel,” Heeseung joked while Jake laughed at his words.
Maybe I was just wrong about him..
They spent the entire night together, and the kitchen near the living room was loud with laughter. Heeseung hadn't laughed in a long time because of the seriousness of his work, and he was always so busy that he rarely talked with his younger brother, and thankfully, Riki has someone with him all the time.
While Riki was in his room, the two of them assisted one another in cleaning the dishes. Heeseung washed the dishes while Jake dried them next to him.
“Thankyou Jake,” Heeseung said with a smile curving on his lips.
Jake looked at him and asked, “for what?”
"For always being with Riki. I’m always busy, so all I can do is buy things he likes instead of playing with him, and when he said he wanted to bring someone to my house, I was happy that he has someone beside him,"
Jake had noticed it as well. After greeting his younger brother, Heeseung would always walk to his room, and the black bags under his eyes explained everything. Riki understood it as well, which is why he doesn't bother his older brother because he knows his hyung needs to rest.
"Of course, you should be grateful because I'm always there for him," Jake said with a cheeky grin.
Heeseung laughed as he wiped away his sweat with his arm, and when Jake noticed the bubble on his temple, he removed it. The older lowered his head a little to look at him, Was he always this attractive?
"You had a bubble on your temple, so I removed it," Jake said, putting his hand down and continuing to dry the plates.
"Ah–yeah," Heeseung blinked as he washed the few dishes that remained.
"How’s everything going?" " Jungwon asked as he and Sunoo sat on the cushion together, watching Jake, waiting for him to tell them everything. Jake's buddies had planned to meet in his house because it had been decades since they had seen each other due to their jobs, and they were now listening to the story of Jake's 'hate’ relationship with the police officer.
“It’s alright–actually, it’s good than how i thought it was,”
"Explain," Sunoo said as he crossed his legs to make himself more comfortable.
“Remember when i sent in the chat Heeseung was bad—”
Jungwon interrupted. “was?”
“Yes–was. I was just wrong about him,” Jake flushed his face onto the cushion seat while resting his whole body on it.
Jungwon and Sunoo's eyes widened as they glanced at each other. “Is this what you call the more you hate, the more you love?” Sunoo said.
Jake sat up. “No!”
“Oh?”
Jake groaned. “It’s just platonically but–”
“But?”
“There was one time, he fixed my mask. He was so close!---”
“Did you push him?” Jungwon questioned.
“Surprisingly, i didn’t,”
He and Heeseung were waiting outside the police station for Jake's manager to arrive to fetch him. The noises of the air and leaves brushing against one another, the noises of cars and motorcycles on the road, and the noises of everyone's footsteps.
Heeseung was ready to ask Jake a question when he noticed something odd with Jake's mask. Heeseung stepped closer to him, adjusting Jake's mask, while the actor simply stood up, processing what was going on.
“There,” He gave him a warm smile.
“Thankyou,” Jake thanked him as his heart was suspiciously pumping rapidly.
That one month finished in a blink. The schedule was too full for Jake to even have enough time to spend time with himself. He had to do the premiere and prepare for his audition for the police role he'll be getting.
He hasn't seen Heeseung either, but he has received numerous texts of encouragement from him, and Jake would be lying if he said he doesn't miss him. When Jake saw stuff that reminded him of them, he realized something. That overwhelming sensation of yearning to meet him made sense to him.
Jake could tell the difference between missing his best friend and missing Heeseung; these were two distinct emotions with which he could identify. He hesitated at first, thinking his mind was just messing with him, until Heeseung chatted him and he replied back instantly with a smile forming in his smiles that even his companions noticed and asked who it was, but Jake simply turned off his phone and replied "no one."
Jake's friends recognized who it was and began to tease him about it all the time, and he seemed to enjoy it.
Then Heeseung chatted with him and invited him to his house to celebrate the premiere with Riki, and Jake accepted, almost forgetting it was his rest time, but hey, Riki and Heeseung, even the house, felt like home to him nowadays.
Jake noticed a familiar tall figure on the balcony, his body facing the moonlight and his arms resting on the grill, his fingers intertwined. Jake said as he stepped onto the balcony. “Hey,”
Heeseung turned his head and gave him a welcoming smile. “Hello,”
“How’s your work?” Jake asked, holding the grill while enjoying the cold wind.
“Still stressful,” Heeseung sighed.
Jake finally gave Heeseung an opportunity to explain during the days they spent together, and he accepted and accepted it completely. It was logical, and what Jake liked best was that Heeseung allowed himself to learn its lesson, which he did.
Jake did as well. It's best not to judge a book by its cover since you'll miss out on the beautifully crafted story.
“How was your work?” Heeseung asked back.
“Also stressful,”
“Hope you are taking yourself,” Heeseung patted his head.
“I am, I have been eating healthy foods nowadays,” Jake said.
Despite the fact that their conversations were brief, they liked each other's company. That's just sitting next to each other and admiring the scenery. It was peaceful.
Riki, who was sneakily watching them, had a wide grin on his face because his plan had worked out so perfectly.
“Jake hyung, are you okay?” Riki asked.
No, he wasn't. He observed Heeseung come home with a guy every day and explain it was just for work. It was amusing. The guy was obviously not just for work; he would move closer anytime he had the opportunity or make a move, and Heeseung simply ignored it and went about his business. Jake was having none of it, especially because he had to witness it in front of his eyes.
Because he didn't like what he was feeling, Jake grew aloof from him. Heeseung assumed they went back to the beginning because Jake seemed to walk away the instant Heeseung opened his mouth to speak to him.
“It’s raining, you should stay here for a while Chiwoo and wait until it finally calms down,” Heeseung suggested. “Are you feeling cold, Chiwoo? I can give you my jacket, if you want,”
“Oh, really–”
“I’m going home,” Jake grabbed his luggage before leaving the house. He'd had enough. Jake can't take the pressure in his chest any longer as he sees the two together. The more he visits Heeseung's house, the more he is hurt. It was becoming dangerous for his heart.
He didn't mind the rain falling down fiercely on his head. "Jake, you need an umbrella!" said a familiar voice, as the rain stopped pouring on his head thanks to the umbrella covering it. Jake shifted his weight towards the individual, his brows wrinkled as he stared at him.
Jake pushed him away, causing Heeseung to stumble. “Do that to Chinwoo!" He kept walking towards his car, but he came to a halt when Heseseung took his hand in his."You!—"
"Please tell me what I did wrong, Jake," Heeseung said solemnly.
“You don’t get it! You wouldn’t!”
“I’ll understand it, Jake. Once you tell it to me, so please,”
“Fine! Because you were too busy flirting with that Chinwoo guy!”
“Flirting? I wasn’t–”
“I know, Heeseung!---you’re so natural that it pisses me off!”
“Wha–” Jake grabbed his collar and slammed their lips together.
Heeseung dropped the umbrella, gripped his waist, and brought him closer to him, never letting go; the wind seemed chilly, but it was warm in the heat of their bodies. He kissed him passionately, enjoying the smoothness of Jake's lips. The world seemed to have come to a halt for a few moments, as if it were just the two of them.
"Jake, even if there are millions of people on this planet, my eyes will only stare at you. Only you," Heeseung murmured as he continued to kiss him lovingly again.
