Narrator Pov

"So remind me why we're doing this again," Tubbo groans for about the third time.

"Come on, we all agreed to do something new this Halloween so why not spend it sleeping in a scary haunted house with real ghosts," Ranboo causally shrugs trying to scare Tubbo.

Tommy, Ranboo, and Tubbo are walking down a dirt path each carrying a backpack of their belongings.

It was Halloween day. They were off to an old house that is supposed to be haunted and lots of creepy stories come from it. The trio decided to take the challenge and stay the whole night there on Halloween.

Finally, after some time of walking, the large, old house came into view.

"Who's ready for some ghosts," Tommy said with a grin, clapping his hands together.

"Not me," Tubbo responded pulling his hood over his head.

Tubbo was wearing a yellow hoodie with dark blue jeans. Ranboo had on a grey t shirt and black jeans. They also wore a white and black tye dye cap on their head. Tommy had a white t shirt and a red hoodie tied around his waist with blue jeans.

"So what should we do first?" Ranboo asks.

"Eat food, I'm starving," Tommy complains.

Sure enough once they all found their way into the house they found a room that would be suitable for sleeping in. They laid out their sleeping bags on the floor.

"I brought the sandwiches since I know you two would only pack junk food," Ranboo said bringing out weirdly looking sandwiches.

"Uh no offense or anything, but what the hell did you put in these Ranboo," Tubbo said holding his, which is falling apart, strange things falling out.

"I'm so glad you asked," Ranboo replied grinning, "I first-"

"I'm cutting you off there big man. Its better left a mystery," Tommy said, disgust lacing his voice.

Ranboo put on a fake pouting face but didnt continue with saying their weird recipe.

When they had finished eating the sun would be setting soon and they were planning a long, and hopefully scary, night. Ranboo and Tommy planned on doing a couple tricks to scare Tubbo.

"So should we explore?" Ranboo asks.

"Well I guess we should while it's still light," Tubbo said packing up his leftover snacks.

"Yeah I'm down," Tommy chimes in.

"Alright," Ranboo says getting up off the floor, "let's have a look around."

The house was pretty big with a ground floor, a second floor, an attic, and a basement. They found themselves in a dining room with an unnecessarily long table. The table wasn't set but it was still cool.

"Look how big it is!" Tommy said walking beside it.

"That's what she said," Tubbo snickered.

Tubbo received a light punch from Tommy and they moved on to the next room. It was a kitchen.

"Look at all the different pots," Tommy said, "there's so many all different sizes." A hanger on the ceiling with a large sum of pots and pans hanging down was the centerpiece of the room. There was also plants of counters and a old timey oven in the wall.

"Who even needs this many pots?" Tubbo wondered.

"Hey where's Ranboo?" Tommy asked after noticing his friends disappearance.

Tubbo so looked around. "They're probably going to try and scare us, but that would never work because we already know he's gone."

"Hey Ranboo, come out we know your hiding!" Tommy called out. This wasn't part of any of Tommy and Ranboo's plans to scare Tubbo. Tommy wasn't sure what Ranboo was doing.

No response was given.

"Stubborn," Tommy grumbled and turned around to face a door, "let's go to the next room, he'll show up." At least he hoped.

The next room was a study. It was smaller and more cozy looking. There was a large chair and a wall that had a large bookshelf covering the whole thing, with books packed in every shelf.

"Man that's a lot of books, dont you think so Tommy?" Tubbo asked. After a few seconds of silence he turned around to look at his friend. Nobody was there. And the door Tubbo had just gone through was closed. He didn't remember closing it or hearing Tommy close it.

"Tommy? Ranboo? Hello?" Fear creeped into Tubbo with each passing second, alone.

Their just playing a prank right? They wouldnt leave him here, surely.

Panic slowly made its way into Tubbo's head.

Tubbo pov

I can't find Tommy or Ranboo. I'm in this creepy old house and Tommy and Ranboo know I don't like scary things. I only agreed to this in the first place because of them. I try the door but it's locked. There isn't a lock on it.

"Guys, this isn't funny, let me out," I stammer. Truth is I didn't even want to come here at all. I just came to be with Tommy and Ranboo. I was also promised 20 pounds if I came.

"Hello?"

"Who's there?" I question as I whirl around to the voice.

"Who are you?"

"First tell me who you are! Your probably just Tommy or Ranboo playing prank, which ISNT FUNNY BY THE WAY." I yell. I'm starting to become irritated with them, but that might just be fear.

"Who are Tommy and Ranboo?"

"My friends. Now tell me who you are."

"I will in a moment. How would you feel about having a roommate?"

"A... Roommate?" Who is this person and why are they talking about roommates? If this is a prank by Tommy and Ranboo it sucks.

"I can be your roommate. I can also give you a gift. But you have to be willing to."

I take a step back towards the door. It's probably just one of my friends. This sounds like something Ranboo would come up with since they're creative in the horror category. They have been planning their own video game for some time now.

I decide to play along. Maybe it'll help ease the fear making my limbs stiff, and the fog clouding my head. "Sure you can be my roommate."

I could feel the air get a little warmer, a little lighter.

"Really? That's nice of you. I wasn't expecting you to be so easy."

And then everything went black.
