Work Text:
You and Draco seeing each other at the hufflepuff common room every night. You've been dating for a year, but that was a secret. Only a few of your friends knew about this relationship.
You waited on the couch a few minutes when you heard the steps.
“Hi sweetheart.”
“Good evening.” You responded with a huge smile and you made a room for him to sit.
“I missed you so much.” He said and kissed you on the forehead.
“I missed you too, honey.”
“I want to talk about something, but please, don’t be mad.” He grabbed your hand.
You looked at him with worry.
“Holiday’s coming, so I’m gonna spend whole summer with my parents.” He laughed nervously.
“Oh, Dray…”
“Listen, I don’t want to you to be my secret anymore, but.. I just can’t.” He started crying.
You pulled him closer and hugged him tight. You never saw him cry. His relationship with parents was hard, but he tried to be the best son.
Draco, even though he was pretending to be a thick-skinned, he was actually soft. He never got a lot of love, so it was hard to reach his true nature, but you always gave him a lot of tenderness and warmth he needed.
“Shh, I’m here.”
“It’s so stupid. Why do my parents care about blood status?” His voice was shaking.
You felt your eyes were going wet. That was unfair. Draco didn’t deserve that, it was heartbreaking.
“It’s not your fault. Everything’s okay. Please, believe me.” You grabbed his cheeks and made him look at you. His eyes were red.
“But you can’t be happy with me.” He whispered.
“I’m happy with you. I don’t care about your parents, I don’t care about other students. You are the most important thing to me, nothing else.”
“I don’t deserve you.” He smiled and kiss you with love.
“You are enough and I love you so much.” You wiped a tear floating on his cheek.
“I love you too.” He gave a little kiss on your nose.
“You wanna stay?”
“Of course darling.” He gave you bright smile.
You laid down on the top of his chest that you could hear his heartbeat. He hugged you tightly and kissed your head.
“Good night y/n.” He whispered.
“Good night Draco.”
