Oh, the dreadful wind and rain [Podfic]
CassieIngaben, TelWoman
Summary:
Dorian's at a music club. A woman sings a traditional ballad, and Dorian takes a walk down memory lane.
Notes:
- Inspired by Oh, the dreadful wind and rain by TelWoman
This work is a collaboration between TelWoman, EurasianRob, and Cassie Ingaben; it was created for the Micro Pod Fest 2022, a fest for audio works under 5 minutes.
TelWoman wrote the original short story, and sings the traditional folk song "The Two Sisters (Dreadful Wind and Rain)"; EurasianRob plays the part of Dorian. Cassie Ingaben produced the work and designed the cover art. Since EurasianRob is not on the AO3, we cannot add him as an author: but you can find him here.
If you're unfamiliar with the fandom, this is what you need to know: Eroica is a long-running manga, set against a Cold War backdrop. Its main characters are NATO intelligence Major Klaus von dem Eberbach, and flamboyantly gay nobleman Dorian Red, the Earl of Gloria (aka international art thief Eroica). Klaus and Dorian cross paths; sparks fly, and Dorian falls in love with Klaus. Klaus has a foul temper, and to this day Dorian's vehemently unrequited. You can also find more information on the Eroica Fanlore page. The manga is available in English on Mangadex.org.
