Hajime had to admit that he hadn't expected to see his former captain at his high school, wearing the same uniform as him, but he also had to admit that it was kind of cute hearing Hanagaki go from "Koko-kun" to "Koko-senpai."
Honestly, the change in address shouldn't have been this endearing.
He also should have put boundaries between them seeing how Mikey wouldn't want Hanagaki associated with the Kanto Manji gang. But, the small voice in his head whispered, it was his final year whereas this was Hanagaki's first. Once he graduated, he would never see the bleach-haired boy again.
Besides, it wasn't as if anyone had to know. No one else they knew attended their school, and Hanagaki had enough sense not to spread it around - not even to his partner-in-crime Matsuno or the ever-reliable Inupi.
And so, against Hajime's better judgment, he entertained Hanagaki's whims, pretending that he wasn't appeasing his own as well.
