Chapter 1: Rightfully Stolen
Notes:
Originally written for the 2018-2019 Three Sentence Ficathon, for the prompt: Labyrinth, Sarah Williams or Toby Williams /Jareth, in the end perhaps it was inevitable
Chapter Text
At first the sparkle at the corner of her eye barely even caught Sarah's notice - not until she turned and her heart nearly stopped at the sight of the perfect crystal. She looked around wildly but the house was quiet and looked undisturbed - not much had changed since her last visit - save for the crystal and . . . glitter scattered around it, the window behind open a crack.
Sarah's heart squeezed painfully and she was a beat too late to look away from the crystal, snared in the vision it showed her, forming Jareth's throne room.
Toby leaned into his King, tilting his head up to meet mismatched eyes in a sharp face, and grinned as a long-fingered hand cupped the nape of his neck, bringing him closer still for a soft kiss.
"Your sister has discovered you missing; she is watching," Jareth breathed against his lips, and Toby shivered at the sensation, the words taking a moment longer to sink in, "she wants you back."
Toby huffed, pouting slightly and reaching up, fingers sinking into Jareth's hair to draw him down for another kiss - a better kiss. "She's too late," he said, raising his own voice, "I have always belonged here, with you."
Chapter 2: Gifts
Notes:
Originally written for the 2022 Three Sentence Ficathon, for the prompt: any, any, flow down like silver
Chapter Text
"Give you the moon and the stars from the sky is supposed to be a figure of speech, usually. . ." Toby said softly, lifting a hand and watching as a river of sparkling silver flowed from the night sky like the stars were bleeding.
"What you ask I would give." the King said behind him, and Toby turned, breath catching as Jareth lifted a hand, a sparkling silver circlet coalescing in his hold; it settled light as spidersilk on Toby's brow. "What would you have of me, my prince?"
Toby hesitated, feeling the thrum of the circlet he now wore. "What else can you do?" he asked, tilting his head slightly, and Jareth grinned broadly, catching his hand and bowing to kiss his knuckles.
