Work Text:
The walk to her home was peacefull but felt way to short for Brunos liking.
He wanted to spend more time with you, he felt selfish over that fact. You hade spend almost the entire day together and still it was not enough.
Every moment spent with you was a blessing, every smile you gave him made his heart flutter, every time your hands touched he got goosebumps all over.
The town square was quiet, a few people walking about, heading home to their families.
Bruno was glad that was the case, every time they had walked together during the day people had the tendency to stare, like they couldn't believe their eyes.
Bruno Madrigal, bad luck Bruno, was walking hand in hand with a woman.
She was one of the few people that had treated him fair, not judging him for his gift and even defending him if someone was foolish enough to speak badly of him infront of her.
Their relationship had started as friends, she came often to Casita with deliveries, Pepa loved the sunflowers that her family farm grew and she always stayed abit, listening to Brunos stories or his sisters gossip about various townsfolk.
Bruno had no idea how their friendship had turned romantic, he thinks it started when he acidentally had called her hermosa. her cheeks had gotten a slight blush.
Bruno was lost in his own thoughts, not noticing that they were almost at her house.
His thumb started drawing cirkles on her hand.
Her skin was so soft, like a petal.
"Thank you for today" her soft voice breaking the silence. Brunos hand gave hers a gentle squeeze. A silent your welcome. "I really needed to get out of my house today."
"Bad day?" Bruno asked, they slowed down their steps as they arrived at her home.
"Yes, bad week actually." she said with a sigh, turning to face him. "But you made me forget about it, I'm glad." she smiled and squeezed his hand. Bruno feels his heart beat faster than normal, the effect she had on him without even trying.
Dios mio..
"I'm also glad. N-not that you had a bad day or anything but.. that I could make you feel better." He stuttered, nerves getting the better of him. She let out a soft giggle and let go of his hand, using it to move a strand of his hair from his face.
"You can come to me anytime, I will do my best to help." Bruno continued and sounded more confident than he is, he gave her a soft smile as their eyes met.
Something shines in her eyes then and before Bruno can figure out what it is, her eyes are closing as she leans forward. Bruno feels her lips on his and soon his eyes are also closed.
Her lips are impossible soft, the kiss feels warm and beautiful. Bruno feels at home.
Your first kiss togehter is perfect.
Her hands came up and rested on his cheeks, more preassure put into the kiss. Brunos hands came down to her waist, steadying himself. He feels one of her hands comb through his hair and that awakens something in him. He can't stop the soft groan that sounds low in his throat, she immediately responds by letting out a sigh.
She breaks the kiss, resting her forhead on his, fingers still combing through his hair. "I may have to take you up on your offer sometime.." her voice barely a whisper but he hears her perfectly fine.
"I-I'd like that.." he mutters, thumbs slowly stroking the soft material of her shirt, oh how he wish he could feel the skin underneath. Gathering up newly found confidence, he leans forward again and their lips touch. Soft and sweet, she reluctantly pulls back, hazel eyes meet brown.
"Buenos noches, Bruno." She smiles, that soft, sweet smile that made Brunos heart flutter.
"Buenos noches, mi girasol." the nickname escaping his mouth without his consent. She closes the door behind her and Bruno stands there for a few heartbeats.
That just happend, you kissed him, you kissed him.
You kissed.
With a grin that would rival that of a small childs, he started his walk back home. Back to his family, his chores. Back to reality.
He could not wait to see her again.
