Work Text:
Haru was riding his bike down the stairs, trying not to fall from it.
He had just heard some boy talk about Futsal and suddenly all his attention was on playing Futsal too.
“Whoaa!” Haru yelled, his body jumping because of the stairs.
As he continued to ride his bike, he saw a boy. A really pretty boy, in fact.
He had dark blue hair, and beautiful light blue eyes.
Whoa.
He was really, really, really, pretty- AHHHHH.
And suddenly, he was falling.
He had gotten too distracted by the boy. Oops.
As he (and his bike) flew over the boy, time seemed to stop itself.
The boy stared at him, and reached out at the same time Haru reached out. His fingers were excruciatingly slow towards the boy's. The tip of their fingers touched, and the boy almost grabbed Haru’s hand, but they slipped and time started again.
Haru flew over the stairs, his bike falling next to him, but not close enough for it to injure him.
“Ow!” Haru grabbed his head. “Dang it, the shortcut I was taking turned into stairs.”
He looked up and saw the boy with some kids (and some ugly-looking teenagers too).
He looked to the side, “Arg! The tire came off! Can I even fix this?” Haru sulked.
Haru stood up and walked towards the boy.
Time to talk to him. Would it be weird if he cleared his throat before talking to him?
“Are you playing Futsal? Let me join!”
A bit straightforward, but it was progress.
He was wearing the same uniform as him, maybe even the same class as him. Hopefully he was.
He looked at the boy as the kids behind him talked and whispered between each other.
He really, really hoped he and the boy became closer.
