Chapter Text
Start your story with one character setting up a romantic dinner and end it with them looking at a framed wedding photo:
After how long it took her to set aside her nerves to ask them on a date it was a welcome surprise that the day of the nerves were nowhere to be found. Everything was going according to plan, the recipe found that day was no harder than she initially thought it would be, and the decorations around the table were placed yesterday in preparation to give her all the time she needed to fuss over details of her appearance until she was satisfied. When her date arrived it was instantly easy, the conversation flowed as if she didn’t spend the past nights dreading over how to carry a conversation when fantasizing over the event. Minutes turned into hours within the blink of an eye, neither one of them realizing how long the night had drawn on, both too preoccupied with clinging onto the warmth and company that the other so readily gave them. Before they knew it, dawn had arrived, startling them to how easily lost they became within one another. With promises to meet again soon sealed with the sweetest kiss, they finally parted and moved along with their days still bathed in the awe of the memories of the past night.
“Is everything okay dear?”
She hardly processed the question, too lost in her thoughts of their first date and how it all lead to the wedding photo she had been staring at for quite a while now, consciousness only surfacing at the sound of her partner's voice and arm around her shoulders.
“Yes, of course, I was just reminiscing”
Smiling at her reply, her partner simply pressed a kiss to her forehead and lead her to their bedroom for the night.
