Chapter Text
~Becky's POV
"Of course, mum, I did!" Gosh, mum doesn't need to yell at me through the phone "Don't worry, I'll be good, Love ya!" Oh my goodness, I'm so tired! I haven't even received a good night's sleep. I'm already missing my pals, and I'm going to miss this city terribly, And this the room? Gosh, I'm going to miss the softest, most comfy bed I've ever slept on.

Okay, the flight was excruciatingly lengthy. It's time to call an uber since it's sweltering outdoors and I don't want to get lost. This uber journey is relaxing because he doesn't speak, and calm music is playing in the background. As we reach my apartment, I paid him and brought my bags inside, how I missed my apartment, it's been a long time since I last came here. I'll just change my clothes and get some food since I'm so hungry.
I've been thinking a lot about this university; did Mom really move me here since I was suspended twice at my previous institution? This isn't the ideal option because I don't know anyone in here, but at least I can now flirt with nicer girls. Would a redhead like me be accepted? Is there anyone out there that wants to be buddies with a redhead? Enough with the motivational speeches; I'd best get to my apartment and get ready for my first day at U.C. tomorrow.
~Charlotte's POV
"Hey, dad, what time do you think we'll be there?" "We'll be there in an hour, honey, and I can't wait for you to start college." "Yeah, I truly hope this can be a good start," I frowned at the thought of being away from the people I love "What's the matter with you? This is a fine college, you'll build excellent memories here, and you have your own apartment, so what's the matter?" "It's nothing, dad; it's just the idea of being apart from my friends and you." I hope can cope with all these sadness there.
*Arriving into Charlotte's new apartment*
"Wow dad, this is amazing, it'd be plenty for me to live in for a couple of years," as I stepped out of the car and gazed at the apartment that dad had purchased for me to live in while attending college. "Yes sweetie, I bought this for you to feel comfortable, especially since this is your first time here." "It's also the safest," dad whispered making both of us smile. We entered the room, and I was taken aback by how, despite the fact that it was only a room, the details and the bed seemed so costly. The bed is as fluffy and soft as cotton.
"Alright kid, I'll leave you now, I put some extra money in your bank account. Call me if ever you need me, I'll miss you" "I'll miss you too dad, I'll be good, I swear." "ok honey, enough with the teary eye goodbyes, I love you" "Love you, Dad, Take care!" "you too" Gosh I'll miss him so badly, But what's the best thing to do when you just got a new bed? jump on it and drown in softness, And I fell asleep obviously.
*First Day in the University of Chicago*
*Audible alarm
My alarm woke me up, and I quickly turned it off, I think it's more thrilled than I am since it's finally my first day of college, not just any college, but one of the best. That's the benefit of having Ric Flair as your father. And then I got to thinking about it, and shit! What if someone knows who I am? ugh!! As I get dressed, I think about my friends back home, I hope they never forget me because I'll be gone for a long time; perhaps I'll make new friends here. I'm hoping I'll be able to blend in like the rest of them.
After I bathed, I just donned a shirt and slacks and a hoodie because, well, why not? During my bus trip, I received a "Goodluck" SMS from my father, who is obviously more excited than I am. The closer I go to the University, the more nervous I am, but hey! Today I am attending my dream college.
As I approach the school, I am struck by how costly it appears to be, and the kids are dispersed in the halls in small groups, so I chose to proceed to my allotted class despite the fact that I am 20 minutes early. On my way, I ran into a girl and stumbled, obviously because she was sprinting, and she didn't even stop to help me or apologize; she didn't even turn to look at me. She has flaming orange hair and looks attractive, but she is arrogant; I groan at the prospect of this being my first experience here.
It was finally lunchtime after two periods, so I bought a sandwich and an apple juice when I discovered my phone was missing. I checked my backpack and returned to my room to see if I had left it anywhere, but then it occurred to me that perhaps I had dropped it when the girl bumped past me earlier, and why had I not noticed? I went to the hallways where I may have dropped it, I looked everywhere "Is this what you're searching for?" a guy holding my phone said, "oh my gosh, yeah that's my phone." As I try to reach it, he pulled it away "hey hey hey, I'm not just giving it to you without confirming if its actually yours, hmm... what the password?" oh wow "I'm not telling you, but I can type it" as he gives me the phone and I typed my password and it unlocks, I glared at him "see" "hey, don't give me that look, I'm the one that gave your phone back, you should thank me" wow arrogant "thankyou I guess" "are you new here? you seem like you don't have any friends" as he looked at the groups of students near us "yeah, I'm a freshman. I'm from North Carolina that's why I don't know anyone" "Well my name is Roman, I'm a Sophomore, I believe you still have 2 periods left, I can tour you around here after your class and ill bring my friends, ill introduce you to them so you won't be alone" "really? I can meet you here after my class, that's really nice of you. Thankyou" this guy isn't as bad as I thought, he's not just nice and friendly, he's also hot, oh my god charlotte please stop with these thoughts "What's your name?" "oh, I'm Charlotte" we shook our hands...
