Work Text:
Nahyuta laughed as he saw Taka latch his beak onto Simon's hair. "Taka, let me go!"
The bird refused and dragged him closer to the monk. That made Nahyuta stop laughing. "Taka, sweetie, papa and otosan can't always be together."
The bird let out a squawk. Simon sighed. "Papa's right, dear. We know you love us, and we love you too, and each other, but we can't constantly be together, so sometimes we have to be apart." The bird's mood seemed to sadden. "Don't be sad; we'll always see you and the other at the end of the day."
Taka nuzzled against the two of them. Nahyuta started to laugh again. "I think that made him happy."
